3981  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Didn't Bitcoin ban China? on: June 02, 2014, 03:55:46 PM
We should look at this problem from a different angle.

Without Chinese Gov's influence, BTC price should be higher than $1,000USD today.
How could BTC price went down to $400USD and that provided you an opportunity to buy more BTC?

Everyone knows Chinese Gov could not ban BTC in terms of technical aspect.
And eventually BTC price would continuously rise up in the long term.

So what Chinese Gov had done is to offer you a chance to buy more BTC and be more rich in the future:).

So the Chinese Gov hold monopoly that affect on price until it buy all btc and for 10 or more years sell us for 100x more than current price Cheesy

BTC price is based on the public recognition and confidence.
If China has a monopoly on BTC market, I believe people would go to other altcoin (LTC or something else).
BTC will be worthless and, Chinese Gov gain nothing from it.

Correct , except one part , if bitcoin gets worthless other altcoins will become worthless to, or they will do the same with them. So... Idk my head hurts when i even think about all possible scenarios Cheesy

3983  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - NEW- instant deposits | bitcoin sportsbook and live dealer casino on: June 02, 2014, 03:49:05 PM
you know what is strange, when i am login in i am using email with the end gmail.com , but when contacting support they see me as googlemail.com , i told them many times that they should fix and don't tell me to contact from email i created an account with, couse it is same.
And i had about 12 issues in past 2 months with cloudbet. and they know this. i like cloudbet, but in case they are playing with serious money, they need to make a move and care their customers!

Im not associated with them and i dont know from what email u contacting them, i just told u that coz i know they demand that. I hope they fix ur issues rly soon .

I dont think they would scam anybody out of theirs coins, u will get it eventually . Just give them some time .
3984  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet.com - NEW- instant deposits | bitcoin sportsbook and live dealer casino on: June 02, 2014, 03:32:44 PM
Same here, my 0.9 BTC deposit is missing. it is 21h now. almost a day. i wouldn't say it is INSTANT. no reply from support, no care.
And to check if the system works i have deposited 0.04 BTC and that one was funded instantly, so where is my 0.9 ? scam?

Hm... I always got fast answers from cloudbet support. I wouldn't call it a scam yet. Be patient a bit they will answer u . Try resending email .

And btw u need to send email from email u used to register account on cloudbet.

3989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi Nakamoto become the richest person on earth? on: June 02, 2014, 02:36:14 PM
Satoshi was a billionaire once - when Bitcoin reached $1200 back in November 2013. He has 1 million coins so that would have made him worth about $1.2 billion.

The richest man on Earth is Bill Gates who has around $50 billion last time I checked.

So if BTC reaches over ~$50,000 a coin then he will be the richest man in the world.

We cannot be 100% certain that he has that many still in his/her/their possession... And 50k is QUITE A BIG STEP AWAY. Shocked

It's two, max. three years away.

No way will bitcoin be at 50k in 3 years.. I can safely say that

No u cant. Its so not safe to say that. Btc can get to that price in matter of months . Everything is posible in bitcoin world.
3990  Economy / Speculation / Re: This forum is full of future millionaires on: June 02, 2014, 02:34:49 PM
The only reason 10BTC would be worth $1,000,000 is because of hyperinflation, in which case I wouldn't sell my coins and would be using them for directly buying stuff instead.

there will never be more than 21 mil bitcoin.

There is no reason why someone can't create another crypto currency with a higher limit.  Simple 'divide US dollars by 21 million bitcoins = $$$$$ WIN' calculations are far to simplistic.

And there is no reason why someone would create alt coin with higher limit. Coz when btc gets to high we can just start using mBTC, uBTC and finally satoshi , there is more than enough units of bitcoin.

OP (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=227245) logged in his account yesterday, but he don't even care to make an update here with a make-up story

Honestly, that does not mean much. Whoever the owner is created this account purely for running this site, hence the name. He most likely is an active user on another account.

True.
But if the owners want to keep running the site, with or without paying 1Dice1, he should continue communication with his existing and potential bettors and investors. It is now clearly to me that he simply doesn't care about his existing and potential bettors and investors.

He wont do that. If he wants to keep running site, he will just do redesign and launch again , then probably scam everybody again.

Hopefully everybody will be more hesitant to investing. Just launching in March, we are slowly picking up. I don't know how they got so much attention so soon, but if a site were to launch immediately and attract that much attention I would steer away.

ED Last Active:   May 30, 2014, 10:26:06 AM it doesn't look good

They were very lucky when they launched, people liked the Ref system and they got a few highrollers

They ware probably not so lucky as in they ware faking high-rollers to get attention , they probably faked some investments to to get the train moving .

STUNNA AND CO:

Does anyone know if I can claim payment earlier once I reach 50 posts?

Nope u cant. U need to wait to 17th , to post final post count . And then like 48-72h more to get payment.
3993  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 02, 2014, 01:42:14 PM
Time to dump some.

Fiat.  Grin

Smart man, NOW is the time to buy buy and guess what BUY ! . I wish i have some fiat to buy with ... LOL Cheesy
3994  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: June 02, 2014, 01:40:53 PM
IMO it's not possible unless you want to be banned. Some people did that last month and it didn't end well for them.

If you have above 1000 posts a month with a paid signature you can be sure to get a moderator's attention.

My max was above 1200 posts and I did get attention of a moderator here. Actually, he was fascinated by my dedication, lol! Grin

And I know guys who wrote twice as many posts (and he didn't get banned at all Wink).... Cool

There is no reason for them to ban u if u dont spam , and obey rules of forum. U can post every 10 sec as long as u dont spam they cant ban u even if u make 10k posts per month.

That would be sick awesome if an anonymous person became the richest person on earth.

hah, u open forbes list and at first place , dark silhouette of "Satoshi Nakimoto" that would look so cool Cheesy .

But not so likely to happen, even if he become like richest , there are probably some other anonymous people that are richer.
Who knows...
3997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Satoshi Nakamoto become the richest person on earth? on: June 02, 2014, 01:31:22 PM
1) Satoshi is still alive
2) He most likely has control over those coins still (he invented bitcoin with damn near perfect, do you really think he'd be so careless to lose his private keys?)
3) He won't move those coins until bitcoin is super-main stream. Reason: If he started to move ANY of them now, everyone would know he has access to them, speculation of a bitcoin dump would began and people would sell bitcoin and drive the price back down to sub $10/coin maybe $1 per coin, thereby hurting his personal unrealized wealth and the future of bitcoin.
4) What will he do with the coins? Hopefully donate some, use some to fund needed bitcoin projects or lobbying, build infrastructure and keep some for himself.

LOL , are that facts ?
U know all that by talking to him or what ?

3999  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best energy drink on: June 02, 2014, 01:28:45 PM
Is there a better healthy version for energy drinks?

I heard about some monavie energy drink but never tried it.

Yes there is, bananas and fruit in general Cheesy . But if u want drink, we here have some RECHARGE water its supposed to "give u energy" but its just like regular water to me, just with a taste.
There are some vitamin drinks, also supposed to recharge u Cheesy .
Idk, for me monster is the best Cheesy .

Well I`m aware of fruits and stuff thats obvious lol. But I just figured if there was a healthy alternative energy drink, but I guess thats pretty impossible lol.

As for the water suggestion, I dont think that would be any good since they claim to recharge with a little bit of electrolytes in the water.

If I`m drinking energy drinks, I think 5hr drink would do for me.

Anything with caffeine is not healthy Cheesy . So i think helthy energy drink is not possible Smiley .

But healthier is.
Less sugar, natural caffein etc.

Natural caffeine? So there's also caffeine which isn't natural? So, caffeine isn't caffeine? //Confused.

I don't think any energy drink is healthy, but more things in life are bad for you..

I think there is synthetic caffein.

Check this out if your looking for healtier energy drink:
http://www.schecktersorganic.com/

It has,
No Synthetic caffeine
No Artificial sweeteners
No Artificial colourants
No Artificial flavourings
No Preservatives
No Toxic chemicals

To many things are not helthy for us, and we drink/eat/breath it everyday. So i would not be so worried about energy drinks. I do enjoy drinking them and will continue to do so Smiley .

Cheers. ..

And the average Myspace user invested zero and switching sites was a case of a few clicks.

It's not quite the same scenario.

I know that, but my point is with technology no one really knows what's going to happen.

Pretty sure we were meant to be flying to work 20 something years ago, wearing silver suits and all our food came in pill form by now.

Not to mention the millions of dollars invested in infrastructure around bitcoin, (and litecoin is leeching of some of it), unlike all the other coins.

MySpace did not have all that infrastructure around it.

Imagine if a new coin would arise. All the merchant acceptance would have to start over from scratch. Not likely to happen.

Yeah it would be rly hard for any altcoin to get to where btc is now. There are already better coins but its hard to switch .
Bitcoin cant die , like zimmah said, there is to much into infrastructure, to many people and business accepting and using it, it got and its gaining momentum and then its nearly impossible to stop it.
