3981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crazy Dogecoin run 100x in 2 years on: April 17, 2021, 02:14:17 AM
$40 Billion marketcap now, how high can this go?
We don't know but there's one thing that will happen soon and that's the FOMO will start to lie low. The run that Dogecoin has made only indicates a few things.

Elon Musk's effect and influence is really huge.

A meme coin that's being loved by the crypto community and before Musk's tweets influence, it's already being loved by the community.

Yes, without Elon's shilling I don't think that Doge can go as high as today's price.

It's a meme coin and I think it will remain like that, but the huge jump is really unexpected. Of course for those bag holders, they are going to be happy with the results and they have to take Elon Musk for that. But as far as it's usage, not sure, maybe online gambling platforms are the once that is going to support this coin no matter what as long as it remain fast and quite "cheap".
3982  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 17, 2021, 01:24:28 AM
I am waiting on this fight to release in the betting site so that I will be able to bet on Ryan Garcia or what they called King Ryan of the ring. King Ryan will be the crowd choice for sure in which he is really so popular although Javier Fortuna is also popular but if it will be based on the record then the vote of the people will be to King Ryan and for me also I think he will be the one to win in this fight. Still waiting for this fight to be release in the betting sites.

Are you going to bet on ML for King Ryan? because for sure it won't be that attractive once sports betting sites release the initial odds. So I would advise you to wait for more betting odds instead of rushing on your bet, just saying.

Other betting odds such as per round would be good for Ryan, I'm expecting Ryan to be 1.1x-1.3x favourite early when the lines open.
3983  Economy / Speculation / Re: April 14, Coinbase IPO and pump on bitcoin? on: April 17, 2021, 12:49:24 AM
@3meek. COIN is down again on day 2 on the Nasdaq. Similar to much of the coins in the cryptospace, COIN might be lacking value investors who would hold it longterm. It would not be shocking if this was pumped and dumped in the next few weeks by speculators behaving similarly as the whales of the cryptospace.

I think Bitcoin current dip was due to a report that Bitcoin Crashes after Accident in Xinjiang. On the other hand, while Cathie Wood's Ark funds bought a big stake in Coinbase.

So I guess we are going to see some good pump next week, because of this news. It closed with a 5% gained already.
3984  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 17, 2021, 12:10:47 AM
Ok, so it will be Rublev vs Nadal QF. I think Nadal being the king of clay is unstoppable in this tournament. And the last person to beat him in clay is Diego Schwartzman who exited in this tournament very early if I'm not mistaken.

Djokovic lost is a big shocker, Tsitsipas vs Fokina on-going, Fokina leading the first set 4-3 but Tsitsipas serving to tie the score. ML for Tsitsipas is not that attractive just @1.14.
The Novak Djokovic loss was a shocker but the most shocking was the Rafael Nadal loss as i did not expect that to happen and glad that i did not place a bet in the entire match and i have seen many making huge bets on the second set for Andrey Rublev to win but Rafael Nadal was able to come back and win and i thought he could win the third as well but today was not his day.
Well Novak Djokovic himself said he had a really bad day and wasnt feeling so good.Evans just returned the ball while Novak just missed and missed and missed. But on the other hand Nadal got schooled today by Rublev.

Ah the beauty of another upset, now Nadal falls to Rublev, another unexpected turn of events.

So my boy Stepanos has won and set up a tough semis with Djokovic conqueror. Huge underdog as I checked the money line today, @5.x. While Stepanos is @1.14 favorite. I might do some live betting, see first what Stepanos looks in the first set.

Rublev is obviously the favorite on the other bracket, currently @1.30, against @3.45 for Casper Ruud.
3985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Zcash an underestimated cryptocurrency? on: April 16, 2021, 01:23:29 AM
I would say that almost all privacy-centric coins are underestimated. Specially that majority of exchanges are delisting them or at least not listing them anymore because of regulatory pressures. I would say that every privacy coins has it's strength and weaknesses, however, they have been somewhat shy upon by investors.

Only pure hardcore privacy individuals are going to invest or at least used it without fearing the government coming after them. But for normal and average joe's, might be better to suit up for other altcoins to make money.
3986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 16, 2021, 01:01:32 AM

Well he was way too ambitious I suppose but I think he has the power and the guts to challenge Pacquiao and I think that's a good thing to fight your idol. I wouldn't be that surprised if ever Garcia will won different divisions too. I think those division Welterweight and Lightweight where Garcia would dominate.

He is too ambitious to fight Pacquiao when his promoters keep protecting him against Gervonta Davis and Haney, he should be fighting Davis or Haney first before thinking of a mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao, there's really nothing in Garcia's resume that will match Pacquiao resume, the questions is whom he beat, there's no decent name in Garcia's resume that will pop up, his just an over hype internet sensation.

LOL, he has been calling a fight with a legendary and yet he hasn't anything in his resume to even deserves a mention. But yeah, this kid is ambitious, he really believes so much in his talent that he has been calling a lot of names to get a fight. And yet he landed Javier Fortuna, which means he has to go the process like the usual fighters. Fight durable and stable boxers and see if your skills and chin are going to hold before calling any in your division.
3987  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we headed for 250k btc in 12-18 months? on: April 16, 2021, 12:26:39 AM
For sure, bears will come no matter what, that's why we have to be ready for it.
That's right, bitcoin price cycles are bound to change sooner or later. We've seen the cycle change before and maybe we'll see that again this year.

So for $250k, hard to see, it's a massive price increased today, like x4 so it might take some time before we can crossed this price. Most likely 2021 or first 6 months of 2022 might be a good gauge to see if this price is doable.
Without strong pumping, it took us a long time to see it hit $100K to $250K. It is not impossible, but it is true that it took us some time to reach ATH there.

We're already in the $60,000 range, that's just short of $40,000 before going to $100,000 this year. Last December or just over 4 months ago, the price is $20,000 so there is still good pump in the price as we are still in the bullish phase.

And what's exciting is when we get to $100,000 this year, this will be another big test to all of us. We can either wait for the bullish to double that price and hold or at least, sell and take profits.
3988  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 15, 2021, 11:56:05 PM
A weird loss for Đoković today, I did not expect such a bad performance from him. He said afterwards that this was one of the worst matches he played in the last few years.

Fun fact - this was their first h2h match and Đoković is 33 and Evans 30 years old. Not something you see very often and Evans has a rare opportunity to finish his career with a positive score against a player who beat all the records Grin

It was just an off day for Djokovic, we see this time and time again in these tournaments where the top players lose matches we don't expect them to lose which is why I stay away from betting in these tournaments. THe top players just use these tournaments most to gain match fitness and stay match fit ready for the grand slams.

Unexpected, but yeah, probably he had an off day against Evans. We can't take away anything from Evan though, he played very well and push Djokovic.

Stefanos Tsitsipas should go through to the semi-final unless he has a bad match and lets himself down again. Nadal will have a tough match against Rublev however as its on clay you have to go for Nadal to win the match but I wouldn't be surprised to see the match go to three sets.

I do hope mate, his next match will be against Fokina, relatively unknown, so I do hope that he can win easy and take a rest. Rublev on a tough game against Bautista-Agut, but he prevail in 3 sets.
3989  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we headed for 250k btc in 12-18 months? on: April 15, 2021, 01:49:59 AM
It's getting more dangerous and hard to see that crypto will be hijacked by bears someday, when is what we don't actually knows but it's 100% assured that bears will be here, new money still keeps getting into BTC but at a point in time it will stop and big whales will start taking their profits

For sure, bears will come no matter what, that's why we have to be ready for it. But for now, the market is really on bullish terms, it's like every month in 2021 we have a a new all time high. So I don't see the bears just coming into the picture and stop this super fast rally that we have right now.

So for $250k, hard to see, it's a massive price increased today, like x4 so it might take some time before we can crossed this price. Most likely 2021 or first 6 months of 2022 might be a good gauge to see if this price is doable.
3990  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna WBC interim lightweight Title on: April 15, 2021, 01:25:38 AM

Obviously, he will be the slight favourite going in this fight, the hype is still there with Ryan and he is so ambitious that he is looking for the next big target like Haney and Davis.

He will always a favorite until he met fighters like Haney or Gervonta Davis, his chin is a suspect if he fought fighters that are intimidating like Davis and Haney, Fortuna is a good challenge for him, I want him to win so he can fight Haney so he can have a real challenge, he's been challenging patsy and weak fighters, it's time for him to face big fighters, Ryan is just an overhype boxer at this point in time.

Yep, that's correct, he will always be the favorite until he steps up the plate against Davis. For Haney though, I think Ryan will be the slight favorite because Haney doesn't have the power. We saw that he went down in his last fight, however, he has a good recuperation power, because he got up and beat the hell out of Luke Campbell.
3991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Simpsons predicted an endless Bitcoin price growth on: April 15, 2021, 12:57:16 AM
Perhaps we don't need to take every Simpsons prediction seriously, yes I would agree that they have some fairly accurate prediction in the past, but it's just pure coincidence. But I know that we all know Simpsons that's why its more intriguing to hear bitcoin again in their parody and maybe they will be 'right' again in the future as the price will dramatically rise. And if it did happen in the future, we can all go back and have a good laugh and says that the creative (or visionary) writer again is correct.
3992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: April 15, 2021, 12:36:05 AM
Hmm.... I've just seen the match between Nole and Sinner. Ended fairly routine for Novak but it was a battle at times. However, Nole was solid in his 1st clay match this season (kept the opponent deep behind the baseline, also did the damage with drop shots). Sinner is already a strong player but maybe not on his favorite surface today (was too nervy ......probably wanted to display his A-game versus world number 1). we can say he burned with desire.
Novak played really well, Jannik Sinner tried but his efforts were not enough to beat Djoko, i had hopes on Jannik to do something like winning a set but i got disappointed, novak plays against D. Evans tomorrow which seems really easy for him to secure the win and qualify for the next round.

Sinner did good actually, it's just that Djokovic is way above his league even even in this surface.

Evans upset Hurkacz the other day and now the two are going to face each other. I still think that Djokovic can cover again, Evans might be good, but Djokovic will have an easy day again.

It's not the end of the road for Jannik though, this is just a test for him and get a feel on what it's like to face the best tennis player of this generation.

3994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: now is the right time to buy XRP on: April 14, 2021, 01:38:12 AM
The best time to buy? when it was way below $1.00, and it's on a free fall because of the SEC lawsuit.

Second best time? it should be now, I think it still has the potential to hit $3.00 in the future specially if they will win the case against the SEC. I'm sure many has doubted it that's normal, but when there is a positive news like what we here recently, it will obviously hits a new all time high.

So it's either who believed on XRP's potentially winning the case against SEC or not. It's our choice. Or we can just right the hype and then timing the market when selling.

''ATP Statement: Medvedev Withdrawn From Monte-Carlo''
''Following the return of a positive COVID-19 test result on 12 April 2021, World No. 2 Daniil Medvedev has been withdrawn from the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters.''

Ouch so sad to hear that he is positive and withdrawing from the tournament

It will be really a big test for Sinner, current ML odds are:
@1.35 Djokovic
@3.15 Sinner

Young talent vs the top seed, I do hope that this will be a good match, otherwise, Djokovic might show why he is the best tennis player in the world and not give Sinner a chance to advance.
3996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Favorite Slot Theme on: April 14, 2021, 12:08:48 AM
I can't chose any because I usually try it every slots so I don't have a favorite. Maybe I would play Egyptian type of slots, then fruit, Western or Sports. But i what I don't like is the movie theme slot, I don't know but tried a few but I don't like to see those movie star faces on my screen. Perhaps I felt like those faces are not lucky for me, LOL. Same with horror theme slots.

Anyway I check your blog, for starters, seems very cool and nice UI.
3997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Saving asset in bitcoin is much more better than saving in banks on: April 13, 2021, 11:38:52 PM
I just got to find out the importance of saving asset in bitcoin. As of last year October I just decided to split my savings into two and used half of it to buy bitcoin then took half to bank and deposited as fixed deposit which means I won't be taking the money for a period of time and bank will in return be giving me little percentage which I will take as profit, recently I tried comparing the profit I get from both bank and bitcoin, I found out the profit I got from bank is way low compared to what I got from bitcoin, then I decided to stop keeping my assets  in banks rather I keep it in bitcoin which later turns out to be an investment for me.

Of course it's pretty obvious that you will not earn in banks as much as bitcoin. But banks are safe, your money is locked (time deposit), so it's a guaranteed profit for you. But Bitcoin are going to give you high yields but the risk is too high. You have some sort of mitigation if ever the price of bitcoin goes down or if we enter a bearish 3 year cycle. But for sure once the market become very bullish, you can recover what you have lost. So it's really up to you to decide, a guarantee and compounding interest on banks vs high yield buy high risk as well.

Very interesting news from the tennis world: ''Toni Nadal, the uncle and former coach of 20-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal, has joined the coaching team of Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime.''
''Uncle Toni'' has practically coached Nadal from the very beginning of his tennis career until 2017 and I'm really surprised that he will now be coaching another tennis player.
Can he create a new tennis champion?

Source: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/56681542

Surprising news, didn't see that coming. I think we can consider Felix as a talent but not such a big talent as Thiem or Zverev or Tsitsipas. With Toni Nadal as coach he can improve but can he reach the same level as these guys? I have my doubts.

As I have said a number of times on here. I have serious doubts about the younger players coming through will ever achieve success while Nadal, Djokovic and Federer are still playing. More so Djokovic as he has been in top form for the past few years now but still Nadal is tough to beat. Once these guys retire then we'll start to see the young talent start winning grand slams and I'm thinking we'll see what we are seeing in Women's tennis, several top players winning grand slams instead of one or two players always winning each year.

Yes, chances are those young players will have a hard time winning Grand Slams if the big 3 is still active, or even Djokovic or Nadal. Although we like what we here with Toni Nadal trying to share his coaching skills to Felix Auger-Aliassime.

But players really need the special skills, mentality and a big heart to go and fight every point in every game against a very experience Djokovic or Nadal. He is currently rank 21th, maybe he can improved his ranking at least.
4000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Joe Smith Jr. vs Maxim Vlasov WBO Light Heavyweight Title on: April 12, 2021, 01:39:44 AM
I like Joe Smith odds by decision @3.15 currently in sportsbet.

Or under 9.5 @2.11

I think Joe Smith will win this fight, Maxim might be good for couple of rounds and then Smith taking over in the middle of the fights.

Have you placed bet on Smith here - odds by decision? That's a nice win in case.

Just throw small money for Smith here just for fun. And to be honest, I didn't watch the fight, I just saw the news that he won.

And base on what I read, it was really very rough fight for him because of the cut that's why it did go to 12th and on the judges scorecard. I'm don't know if there will be a rematch, we might as well see Smith and Beterviev, that will be another intriguing match. Two hard punchers going at each other.
