Anybody giving credibility to these scammers is a fucking idiot or a scammer himself.

The logic is that Bitcoin will eventually go over $10,000 each. Maybe in 20 years but it will happen. So worrying about whether your Bitcoin have made a profit in dollar terms is meaningless - what you want to worry about it having as many Bitcoin as possible. +1 That's it. |

They have no interest in producing a low cost miner. I would interfere with their real money making operations --- mining.
If they see enough competition that their mining operations aren't profitable (unlikely for a while), you may see them start to sell their pans to the prospectors.
Man, you can also think in the big picture. Mining is profitable if the exchange rate is high enough. Exchange rate grows with higher adoption. And now think about how good would be for Bitcoin adoption to spread MILLIONS of USB miners worldwide. That would be the BEST marketing campaign possible for Bitcoin. |

I get the sarcasm. But I do believe that in the long run, Bitcoin derivatives and other financial scams will really harm Bitcoin.
Just remember that Bitcoin was MEANT to empower normal people - undermining the power of bankers and the other Wall Street bastards. As soon as bankers and Wall Street bastards start to play with Bitcoin, it may be its end.
