keep this on the side first issue right now is how to get 1 golden merit to become jr member again ?

btw how many jr members were here who becomes newbie again 😄including me  Angry

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2901152.0
Read that on how to earn a merit, make reading a habit.

You are not alone, it has happened to us twice. The first time I figured out what the problem was that lead to it but the second time I could not work out what the problem was. I get the feeling moderators are swamped and do not have time to explain each action or answer every enquiry, I think if you just stick at it you will figure out what to do differently Smiley

Wait.. what? You demoted twice?
42  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tutorial on how to install metamask on mobile phone(english version) on: October 04, 2018, 12:42:51 PM
Ok. All this time I just knew that metamask is only for desktop use so some didn't have this since they're just using smart phones. And yes I'm quite bother in authenticity of the sites, I was wondering if can we use VPN to protect our IP address from being vulnerable in stealing informations. What do you think?
43  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the challenges for investment with Small capital? on: October 04, 2018, 11:38:32 AM
When investment is smaller that means first challenge you will face that where you have to invest it. Small capital means you won't be able to diversify your investment into some parts i.e. some part of bitcoin, eth or some other coins. Risk will be higher and profit probability is less.

The problem when investing with small capital is that the profit is not large and not enough to divide the money into many parts to invest in order to limit the risk. But I think that for new investors, investing in small money is better because you can lose that money but the experience is great.
dont take a look at amount of profit.but look at profit percentages.for example trader A that used $100 earn profit $20 or around 20% .but another using $1000 only generate $100.so if we look the percentages it bigger trader A.

That's why small or bigger capital isn't a real deal but what matter is how you utilize and maximize it to have a decent earning. Though, you shouldn't expect a high return if you had small capital but then again you lessen the risk.

Nonetheless, you shouldn't count the eggs unless it's already hatch. This will just give you false hope.
44  Economy / Marketplace / Re: The Blockchain Markets Are Blooming! on: October 03, 2018, 11:47:48 AM
Don't forget Malta as crypto haven since many companies seeing this a favorable place for them, aside from Malta optimistically perceive cryptos and recently Binance chose this as another headquarter.

Also Dell has taking its side in blockchain,

45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction price Bitcoin on: October 03, 2018, 10:32:43 AM
that is good news, it makes bitcoin progress more and more.
make members feel comfortable with that. Cool
Not really a news but its good to have low transaction fees all of the time. You can check the suggested fees from time to time (https://coinb.in/#fees).

Fees depends on the network as well and the more unconfirmed transactions, the higher fees. (https://www.blockchain.com/en/btc/unconfirmed-transactions)

So therefore, it seems that there are decrease in transactions? Does it mean there are just few that transact in bitcoin or the network is just more fast than before?

I remember last year when the fees are high yet slow confirmation, the network seems congested and somehow only the high fees are become priority than those with less. Let's see if the transactions will be faster after the next halving occur.

47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China banned ICO's not Bitcoin idiots! on: October 03, 2018, 07:36:57 AM
China not only ban ICO but also the tokens distributed in this year, the government support blockchain technology but ban the ico which will cause public events and financial crime
This is just a precautionary measure, the Chinese Government is only afraid of people making a deceptive investment.
Everything is fine, and we do not panic.
BTC has returned to normal, this issue loads everyone busy.

Once again, this is why ICO banned in China and not BITCOIN itself. Chinese government deem to necessary to ban the crowd sales since a lot of fraudulent happened and without further act it can be more rampant.

It's sad that fake news are bought and believe easily, this issue was old as last year and I don't know why media keep on digging this. Perhaps they don't have anything to publish so even a rubbish news will do now.
48  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: New here on: October 02, 2018, 03:15:24 PM
Thank you for the answers.

I'm using bread, but I want to put it on my site as payment option and It needs to be the same address as I can't change it live. That's why I asked.

AFAIK, breadwallet generates new address once the address is already use, so make sure that you uncheck the box of generate new address. You can also use coinomi, if in case you need another wallet that the same as breadwallet.
49  Economy / Reputation / Re: Selling Bitcointalk account with 1 merit on: October 02, 2018, 02:21:55 PM
Is there any IP ban here on bitcointalk ? I think it should use it to that account.
IP ban is nothing, in most cases you need just to reset the router if you have a dynamic IP connection.

Or they might use VPN since it can change the IP address of the one who's using it, so it's totally useless.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin does not have limited supply on: October 02, 2018, 01:50:14 PM
The argument is again and again that the value of Bitcoin will increase because supply is limited to 21 million. But this is quite simply wrong. Every time Bitcoin is forked that is in real terms an expansion of the Bitcoin currency beyond 21 million. To some degree the same is true of alternative crypto currencies which will flood the market. There is already more than 1000 cryptocurrencues ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_cryptocurrencies )

Th forking (or absence of it) does not effect Bitcoin's supply. At best, you can consider it as a "gift" to all bitcoin holders, which will increase the overall worth. It in no way impacts the overall supply of 21 Mn, which is set in stone.

That is precisely my point. I create "Bitcoin2" by forking. Then I create "Bitcoin3" and so on and so on. In reality what I am doing is issuing more Bitcoin. That I call it a different name does not change the reality.

Even there will be a thousand bitcoin fork it even doesn't affect the 21M supply, as obviously the fork coin have different supply and besides those fork coins is already consider an altcoin.

Well I think the argument is more clear, stop dreaming that those fork coins can replace bitcoin on its position, even they claim that they're more faster and low trnx fee, and that's BS.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The best cryptocurrency payments on: October 02, 2018, 01:00:27 PM
It looks like paycoiner is new in the market so I just know this and the terms is somehow attractive and flexible. Though I'm not a fan of trying those new ones as I'm taking this very serious since someone tried to fool me.

can not be denied that coinpayments is a leader, but it may also be worth considering other options.

Though, I'm surely consider this. Nice advertising, btw. Grin

And for the benefit of others, link below is alternative for coinpayments, however it vary on some countries.

52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: MERITS OF BLOCKCHAIN. on: October 02, 2018, 11:44:55 AM
I'd love to see you give an actual explanation or example of how the use of a blockchain in the medical industry is a superior way to story sensitive data.
When you talk about using blockchain to store personal medical data, do you mean a public blockchain or a private one?

Seems OP is talking about a public blockchain since there's some product that used this for more accessible data and to avoid medical counterfeiting however I see this as a threat for our medical records since everyone can able to see it in which contradict to our traditional record keeping.

Let's not put everything to blockchain as some things are better off without this.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Margin : Never try on: October 02, 2018, 11:03:38 AM
OP is goddamn frustrated for doing margin trading and since it didn't fit to him they just troll and say that it's addictive.

Normally, trading and gambling is sort of alike because of the risk behind it and if you're inexperience you'll be fallen to losses in which you may not want to see. Doing trading should be taking seriously and don't dare to try if you don't know how this exactly work, you'll be wasting money, really.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: My luck is very bad for crypto trading 😞 on: October 02, 2018, 09:04:56 AM
To trade cryptocurrencies require a lot of knowledge and practicing! It can means a lot of bad experience, but in my opinion this is the best way to become a good trader, if you find your own way, and what is the best for you!
This is definitely not about luck!
If you cannot experience bad experiences in the first place, then you will not be mold into a good trader.I believe this is not just about luck, patience is also what we need most.Things may not come in our own expectations, but if we will be patient, everything will be in its right timing.

And losses is a fraction of trading and so this should be anticipate by traders, surely at first it's vital but along the way it will all make sense. Don't let losses overtake you but treat this as a challenge. Market is too unsteady for us but if we utilize this, it will make everything clear. Though sometimes, we had more losses than profit but this shouldn't stop us, we wouldn't know when will be our favorable day.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: forkdelta.github.io - exchange for trading ERC20 tokens (EtherDelta analogue) on: October 01, 2018, 02:28:25 PM
Hi, help me please,

I have about 0.85 ETH in forkdelta and want to withdraw about 0.5 ETH, but why I can't withdraw my ETH to MEW.

Seems your eth is in your forkdelta wallet and to be able to transfer your eth to wallet you still need some gas to cover the fee in which it always gets credit in wallet. Too bad I can't provide the screenshot for you to understand easily.

Hope this will help somehow.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What is secrets airdrop and why distribut the token is free on: October 01, 2018, 01:55:06 PM
Its a marketing tactic mate, the developers give the free coins under the name of airdrop and make a strong community in less time.

Airdrop is giving free tokens with some rules with the aim of wanting to get the support of a large community quickly and instantly. for now if we want to get a reliable airship it is very difficult but we can meet the running project path or get a linsting token to be listed in the exchange

They just using people to have a free advertisement thus helping them to have a token circulation in the market. Airdrops before are literally a free money but today it's literally a shit.

You guys shouldn't waste time and effort joining those scam airdrops and besides that will just cost some bucks, if you're lucky enough but if not, those tokens will be just a token of appreciation.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dude buys sandwich with Lightning Network on: October 01, 2018, 11:30:55 AM
What an informative thread to read and the brain storming is getting tight. I love everything that I read though I'm just confuse what's the real thing and made me think more.

(hint LN will see litecoin on the same network as bitcoin)

So this whole LN will be also be use by litecoin (sooner), so this mean bitcoin and litecoin will be sharing the network? Isn't that appropriate for bitcoin? I mean the transactions are more huge, even LN is faster, I think it will have some discrepancy.

58  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] ⚡BQT Signature Campaign | Member - Hero | 0.0007 BTC /Post ⚡ on: September 28, 2018, 06:58:58 AM
I feel a little bit bad because I'm one of the three Full member participants who fail to comply for this week's post quota Sad. It is because of being a late enrollee and busy sched (as usual). My apologies to Zapo, I will strive even harder.

Same with me and I don't want to spam just to meet the quota.

Thanks @zapo, payment received. Last 3 weeks before the campaign ends.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dude buys sandwich with Lightning Network on: September 28, 2018, 02:12:12 AM
standard disclaimer

LN is a separate network that multiple coins will use.
currently bitcoiners are testing it. but remember LN is a separate network that locks peoples funds up.

I'm sorry for ignorance, what do you mean in multiple coins will be use? What exactly those coins? Is that altcoin? Ok, I didn't know this whole thing, that funds can be lock up without our knowledge. All I know that LN is what made the bitcoin transaction more faster than the usual and with the help of SegWit2x the blocks became larger.

Thanks for this, I should do my assignment later.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP price leaps nearly 20%, leaves investors confused on: September 27, 2018, 05:06:00 PM
It’s been a good news week for XRP, and it’s creator Ripple, but a 20% spike in its value – and an accompanying explosion of volume – has left even its dedicated supporters confused as to what’s going on. Just after midday today (GMT+1, 7am EDT) the price of XRP began a sharp spike upward […

You just copied the OP to the article you link, it's better if you quoted it so it won't look like a plagiarism ( even you provide the link ).

The article was full of good news to holders so what's bothering you anyway? Even it's a sudden leap and many fear that it's just a bubble but still many are in deep thought of buying more ( some FOMOs ) but specifically if you bought at bottom you already now sitting on your profit and sipping some wine.

. In the past there has been lots of good news about XRP and Ripple,

I just know that xrp and ripple is different from each other, I thought xrp is ticker of ripple. Jeez, how come I'm outdated.
