Can I ask what's the logic behind preferring BTC-Alpha + OpenLedger + Coinexchange.io over Cryptopia?
I think Cryptopia would give more exposure even if it's just a single exchange, specially since lately people have started to understand that the place is an incubator of lowcap coins that can boom and become very relevant.
Well... On the other side if I can be selfish for a moment I'm fine with the coin not reaching Cryptopia (yet) so I can keep accumulating, but I still think it's an important milestone the community should try to aim for.
Hello, First of all thanks for asking before making any asumptions. This is a ‘Race’, so basically donators can decide the exchange. As i donated more than 10k BTCZ for the three exchanges I can tell you my reasons, I don’t know others reason for their chosen option. BTCZ is about decentralization. Decentralization means that if one piece falls the coin will not suffer. So i choose 3 exchanges instead of one because I think that we need to have a backup if one exchange closes or has technical issues. Right now we have 3 exchanges and we all know that those are not the best. Another 3 means that we have more chances to ALWAYS be available for investors. Those 3 in the race might have their own issues, but i want BTCZ on more exchanges before hitting a big one, that way we can be sure that one exchange does not dictate the price. Also I heard of pump & dump scheme. Most of these schemes take place on coins that are listed only on cryptopia. Because the price can be easily manipulated by whales. Another reason is that i support Decentralized exchanges, OpenLedger is one of them. I think those are the future when people will realize that on DEXs they have the coins, bot some storage on a server. At the end: i think we should go for another 2-3 small exchanges besides those 3 from Exchange Race before going big. We need volume and price direction from 10 small ones so we assure that big ones do not affect us. This is just my humble opinion, and the reason I vore for those... at the moment. This coin is young, we need organic grow. Agree. This deserve to be on every page. |

Do you know what we need to put this fantastic coin in Cryptopia?
My suggestion... buy a lot of coins (+10K) and hold, for a long period (+/- 6 months).
Cryptopia connected to whattomine. Most of us, the idea of the coin about decentralization and logic say that we must stay away from cryptopia for a while to get the chance for BitcoinZ fans and supporters to accumulate coins, before the coin will be listened at the whattomine and then here will be tons of whales with bump/dump shames, whale miners etc. |

YOBIT have the same issue like cryptopia. It's linked to whattomine and this will give us increase of whales at the coins. No opportunity to accumulate for new little miners. QUESTION: stocks.exchange have problems or all fixed? |

The community is speaking its voice and so far BTC-Alpha + OpenLedger combo is winning. It is an open race and anyone can participate. If you feel so strongly about Cryptopia, you can donate yourself. Heck donate 2.5 BTC worth and the winner is had! One aspect of BTC-Alpha + OpenLedger is you have 2 exchanges instead of 1, and further decentralizes BTCZ. This is the ultimate goal of the coin, to get it into as many different hands as possible. Once you are on Cryptopia, you are now likely on Whattomine and you have all the whale miners coming onboard and making it difficult for believers in the coin (the small people) who want to accumulate. I am sure Cryptopia will come, just be patient.
Sure! Agree! True! We can develop ecosystem and go to other exchange and only then to whattomine with cryptopia. With big amount of accumulated coins then our total market cap will increase significantly if believers will hold accumulated balances. Then we will go to TOP 100-200 coins. Who want quick money it's always possible to go to whattomine then find most profitable coin and mine it to get your USD. |

When did this vote happen? Really did community vote against its own interest? Since source code is open source why don't you fork it yourself? I would like them to do it in the same chain because there is no sense in keeping such an high supply. No high value per coin is sustainable like that. BTCZ is too much inflated because of high supply. Even if it will reach a decent value now more and more new coins will make it decrease. No good for anyone. Just look at SHIELD or XRB... XRB cut 2/3 of supply in october then it did 500X in two months! High supply is cancer. It have the same supply like Bitcoin, but * 1000. Why do you have any problems to always / it to 1000 if you want and think that there are only 21000000 coins. With the price you can do the same. So, 21 000 000 coins now max supply and price now 0.000001 / 1000 = 0.001 BTC Real price 0.001 BTC per 1 BTCz with 21000000 supply. Simple. Current supply fix issue with float numbers. It can't reach 1$ because there is too much supply. it can be 1$ easy. I guess 10$ is more realistic if whole crypto market will go up and Bitcoin Cash will take a lead ( from ALL SegwitCoin especially from SegWitCoin BCT ) and BCH price will go up to 100000$ Maybe, I will show some calculations later of course it's positive scenario when all market goes up. when the truth about segwit coins will be discovered by all market I guess we will see overflow to true crypto coins. |

well basically we want to keep the release on more products over just 1 to decentralize the project which is what its all about right? next thing is the fact that one of these exchanges from my understanding are decentralized which fits into our foundations and WE NEED THIS TO HAPPEN, alot of people have been asking how this can be done and some people proposed this as one of the options the other thing is that basically cryptopia is hooked up to whattomine.com so... when we get listed on there the difficulty will go and for traders thats good in various ways i guess but for people just getting into the coin thats not the best thing when you're trying to hold for the future and stuff for example: from 30k to 300k in 1 day after the mining traffic notices us as the top thing and most profitable with the least rewards to mine which naturally result in less coins for people who are getting into it, so basically we want a "slow and steady wins the race" approach, similar to how Bitcoin began itself is my guess so basically we want cryptopia listed last imo and anyway, the way things are rolling with this awesome community im hoping we will see both of these exchanges listed for this coin this year and then we can really start moving forward with alot of our ideas on the backburner Thanks for your insight. Now i see the option "btc alpa / ledger " is slower in price grow, but more people will get in btcz. Btw. price still rise strong. Waiting on exchange. If this coin listed cryptopia or coinexchange, the price big pump...
Like coins pac and xp etc...
and maybe because of that we must list at low amount exchange first. here was one fellow who suggest some cheap exchange 1-2 btc vs 5 btc at btc-alpha. Maybe it's better opportunity I do not see any discussions about all of that. This person also say that he is ignored. WTF? p.s. hope big holders know what to do and they are inserted at long-term coin. |

Just note that BTCZ will not be forked to BitcoinBitcoinZ similar to:
- ZCL => BitcoinPrivate
- HUSH => BitcoinHush
Coin is immutable.

It's Bitcoin(BCH, original bitcoin) and BitcoinZ (original bitcoin with privacy and at the state of 2009 year like Bitcoin) And you suggest to become another one shitcoin with masternode?  Sure?  if we will have masternode that there are no reasons to have blockchain at all. Only MySQL database will be enough. Original idea was cool but not necessarily perfect. Altcoins like Dash was forked from bitcoin as well but have since developed new ideas that has been working well. BitcoinZ's fundamental is fantastic in this chaotic cryptocurrency boom era. Like I said, it might be a good idea to CONSIDER other consensus mechanism, as an addition maybe. It could be now or at some stage. It is always the changes that attract new eyeballs, an alpha release doubles the volume, a soft fork brings 100% surge, a hard fork triggers 200% spike, a rebranding can even dig a dead coin out of its grave..... Because the supply of BitcoinZ is about 1000 times bigger, the price of BitcoinZ could be 1/1000th. In other words, $0.10. Accumulate before people find out!  I hope it becomes $0.10, I have 180,000 bitcoinZ and that would make me very happy. , $18,000 happy. And just look at Cardano, 24 billion coins, price is now $1.20 or something, imagine that, I'd have A QUARTER MILLION!!!! Trere are no leachers-miners on Cardano - so price will rise until investors come. But BTCZ loses $100k-200k investments avery day because of the miners sells it, especially from nicehash. The introduction of a mixed POS/POW system in theory can restrain such a fall-there will be an incentive to hold coins. no PoS scam. i keep getting "connection reset by peer" when trying to mine this coin on miningspeed or suprnova, is that because the pools are over subscribed or something?
ive actually just had this on Ethereum too, does that mean something is wrong with my miner? It will mine for 2 mins then discon?
Why not to use other mining pool and made the coin more decentralized? |

With 21 billion coins how can this coin have any real value? I don't understand... At the first time if you want some simplicity for the mind Just divide the coins by 1000 to get the usual quantities at BTC So, 1000 BTCz = 1 BTC It's so simple. To prevent a dump from NiceHash do not leave the mining, until the coin's profitability drops significantly below the NiceHash. Otherwise, they will constantly dump the coin, because this is convenient because of the rapid output on the supernova (only 20 confirmation for maturation).
Now they have quick and easy ~10% profit. So will dumping btcz back to 20-30 satoshi.
