41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 04:12:52 PM
I'm pretty confident there are the people that bought at the top. Just like stocks or cryptocurrencies markets, the investors/traders who bought at the top due to fear of missing out (FOMO) exist.

Yes, and hoping their number isn't that high, cause it would mean there's a plenty now suffering

The cryptomarket is so unstable that it's a gambling itself   Grin
So why wouldn't it serve as a base of pure gambling projects as well?  Roll Eyes
We can't call the crypto trading - an clean 100% trading market. It is to unstable that yet it is early to consider ita trustworthy platform of making money.
Though, if in many countries casinos are closed and online casinos are being banned everyday, considering that Bitcoin is decentralized and many coins will keep being so, of course such caisnos will remain alive for years and money will be made in quantity of hundreds of millions!
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 03:40:55 PM
If i were invest in that price for sure right now im so depress because 19kusd is huge amount of money, my advice to them is just hold thier bitcoin and wait until the price reach 19usd above, again thats the only choice to make thier money back again. Just trust bitcoin.
yes you are right we will do trust in bitcoin price because bitcoin make highest record on every year. if we look at the history of bitcoin. bitcoin never give lost to their investor i hope just like 2017 in this year bitcoin will go highest price at the end of 2018., we just keep calm and wait tell to our profit if we hold our bitcoin then we will reach to profit.

I think the ones who have big losses should stick to this thread and be sure this kind of opinion is the closest to the turth. The probability of getting their money back is rather high! So don't sell your Bitcoins and wait for a repeated rise in their value! Turst Bitcoin! It's worth it!
44  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: May 29, 2018, 03:25:45 PM

Some of us oldies still play but statistically speaking newer accounts have a much higher probability of being active. That's why they win more often. If you go back through the history you will see some older accounts have won prizes. I'm looking forward to the day I win and everyone claims it's fixed as result.  Cheesy

So many times I had thousands of satoshi and forgot to buy tickets and when I was looking at the results LOL most of them had fewer tickets than I could have  Cheesy

Just a coincidence IMO, the winners could be any members no matter they are new or old members. You may say the opposite thing if you see that the winners are mostly old members.
The chance is obviously based on how many tickets you own for every round but the luck decide who will be the winners. So just keep on playing no matter you are claiming free tickets or buying it with deposit.

Yeah, giving up after an year would be cowerdness  Cool Grin
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 03:15:18 PM
Personally I didn't bought Bitcoins at that price, but I did bought altcoins which went high along with Bitcoin price hike. And yes all are in red ofcourse. For few coins I am unsure whether its gonna hit up unless Bitcoin hits up.

A known person bought at that time, and I helped him in that, he isn't in this forum though, that is why he took my help as he had no knowledge. I now feel, only if I had forced him more not to buy and he had listened to me, but it was done, and he is in loss. He holds it though, believing it would rebound and retouch that. Even reaching BEP would work for him.

Good to him that he is still keeping them! It's more than 50% guarantee it will go up again! just need to keep calm and hold patience! It's just the start!

Well, I started buying at $400+ and I kept on buying and selling some coins all the way up to $18 000. The difference is, some

people did this with their own money, where I did this with previous profits. When I started selling coins, I already made

between 500% to 800% profit per coin, so I am way into the green. {ROI reached a long time ago} I think only a small

percentage of those people who bought at those prices, might have been first time buyers and when it started to drop, they

would have panicked and sold already.  Wink

To big contrast for trading newbies lol Smiley But a unique and memorable experience though. I wish I kept my coins longer rather then selling them early in August...

Lol Great question but remember everyone makes mistakes with crypto every now and then. Remember what happened in Q1 of 2017? Price went past $1k and then dropped suddenly below $800 because of some bad news. What were peoples reactions then? Bitcoin wont breach $1k again but what happened. Bitcoin breached $1k and touched $20k that same year. So I don't think those who bought at $20k should really feel bad. Price could potentially breach those levels again this year. The key is to remain calm and level headed. This is a long-term investment for me. Hope my comment helped! Please give me some + merit if you found my comment useful Wink

This is a hope filling mesage! It's a must see for those who are in this business and bought BTC at a higher price! Keep cofidence and heads up!

Surely there are some people here that have bought some BTC when it was in 19k,
To be honest I bought some back then but when the price was dropping I sell it off and try to win back my money in alt-coin,
Luckily I manage to get some but I didn't really recover all of my money.
I think there's no people going to buy BTC it that kind of price. If they buy in that price and expecting that btc will higher the price but I thin that's a bad Idea first of all we buy BTC for profit and if you buy at a high price it will cause an bankrupt.

There will be plenty of time to recover your loses, I'm sure of that! Bitcoin era hasn't finished yet!
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 02:59:17 PM
So, as we remember, on December 17th the price of BTCBTC went to it's maximum point and reached the value of 19,086 $
Lol... Now you want to hit that below the belt and make it hurt for them, right? Of course people here bought at that level. It was an enthusiastic moment as everywhere was lit up in momentous excitement. Many never imagined it was an overbought level. By the way, that price even got to $20,000. Go and check the historical data for Dec 17-19, 2017. It got that high.

LOL nooooo!  Shocked I wrote this post in regard to them! I also hope to talk to some of them, I was very into the Bitcoin thing in 2017 though I didin't have a lot of experience. I had about 3 BTC bought with the price below 2000$ and sold them when they nearly reched 3000$ ..  And when I saw what happened to it in December I felt a very high regret I hadn't kept these... That is why I'm so opened to this subject... because I partialy feel myself part of this tend  Cry

Is it only me who noticed that in the last 3 Lottery games, the majority of winner's IDs are mostly newer profiles? I figured it out based on the profile IDs with 8 digits and starting 11******, 12****** and 13******
Especially in the 154th round. Is it because old players don't play anymore? Or there's another explanation. For example my profile ID is 7 digits and starts with 309****. I've created my account last year. I've almost never seen an old lplayer like me among the lottery winners. is there any explanation upon this? I'm simply wondering. Nothing personal.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 01:50:26 PM
One of my friend bought only just a small amount of Bitcoin, when it was on its highest, but he is a positive thinker, he still keep the bitcoin that he purchase, he already made profit from the other altcoins that he bought but he is very optimistic that bitcoin will soon reach 30k or even 50k.

I recommend him stick to this position! It's more likely BTC will keep growing in the next months! Everything is based on Bitcoin so it cannot die that soon.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 01:35:35 PM
I did not purchase any Bitcoin at the top but the mister idiot here did not sell off my Bitcoin or altcoins at the time that I should have back in January whereby my assets were worth totally along with my Wife's at around 38 Bitcoin at the peak. Now are assets are less than 95% of that all time high so it is like we lost a fortune in six months of the bear market capitulation. Now Bitcoin has performed a triple bottom they say it may likely go up from here but I would not celebrate anything just yet because I do not trust in the altcoin or Bitcoin trading market at all right now.

I guess the luckiest ones are those who mined tens of Bitcoins in early times or those who bought them at prices under 1000$
If you still have BTC I surely suggest you keep them!
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 01:27:55 PM
We recommended to buy bitcoin at 19 k because we knew the great potential that has its technology and within 5 years all the people who bought 19 k and retained it will gain 5 or 10 times its value

"We" meaning who?
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 12:45:32 PM

I don't think much of it. It obviously sucks that people lost money, but nothing is guaranteed as far as investments go. People who put money into Bitcoin should know that it's incredibly volatile, which means that anything can happen at any time. They took the risk and didn't win. It can happen to anyone, for any investment.

That being said, I'm sure Bitcoin can bounce back as adoption picks up, so I would recommend for people who lost money to just stick with it because they'll be able to recover eventually. That's only if they could afford such a move of course, because we obviously have no idea when that will happen -- it's going to be better for some people to simply cut their losses.

As for December, we can't even predict prices a day from now, so more than half a year would be a stretch lol. The trend from last year won't mean anything unless we somehow break out from the current bear market.

As an example - last year 2017 there were lots of rumors that Bitcoin is going to reach the 50.000$ point in future. Some even wrote about a 100.000$ price. This started when BTC was under 2000$, exactly 1 year ago, spring. So till the end of 2017 it reached almost 20.000$ than fell down to 7.000$ until now.
My 1st question is - the rumors about 50k-100k helped this pump to 19k?
And my second questions is - are there any rumors now similar to those of 50-100k? Or the enthusiasm has chilled? I didn't manage to read a lot on internet so this is why I am wondering if the story is being repeated or not since last year.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 12:32:55 PM
Maybe there are few people that are investing in the bitcoin where its market price is high as 19k USD. But for me in my own opinion with the hype of bitcoin market price is the ICO projects who are collecting funds from the crowd and exchange to bitcoins. The more exchange of this ICO project to bitcoin the more bitcoin market price to go high or had an increase. So i guess in 2018 the same thing will happen because most of the ICO project finishes beyond this month onwards so later on there will be a boom on its market price.

Most of the ICO project started at the same time ? Or why they finish mostly in the same month?

The bitcoin market is like a seesaw in motion. Aside from the value going up and down this seesaw principle is also applicable to the traders. People do not earn profit from nothing but there has to be someone who lost a profit before somebody earns a profit. Thus those people who bought bitcoin at 19k$ have a huge loss and some of them are still having emotional problems due to a big loss.

Do you know any of them being active here on the forum?

I hadn't BTC at that moment, but I've sold Musicoin at 800 sat in december
So technically I bought BTC when it was 19k

You mean the one that now is 147 satoshi?
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 12:05:32 PM
It will come up to that peak if there's nothing demands. Once it reach 20k it means there are so many demands before that's why the 19k or 20k reach by bitcoin as the highest price ever in crypto. Probably those people are in anguish now. I hope they will recover.

I wonder if there are many of them on this forum
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 11:57:02 AM
If you know how the market works then you know that someone had to, or else it wouldn't have been 19k.

It's hard for me to yet say that Bitcoin is part of a "market". It is so unstable that it looks more like a gambling than a market...Unfortunately.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 11:36:27 AM

that is the worst idea for many reasons.
first of all altcoins like XRP are centralized shitcoins with no future. they just get pumped and dumped. there is not "good perspective" for any of them. investing in these coins is only good during their pumps

secondly everyone knows that when bitcoin goes down all the altcoins drop. investing in an altcoin that is dropping is silly in this case then.

Oh, this is another truth. You're right. But what about BCN ( Bytecoin ) which had an up to 0.01$ last week, from a long time of less than 0.005$ and there came rumors that it's gaining some pump potential, though it went down to 0.0059$ now - equivalent to 8 satoshi. Imagine you by BCNs for 1 BTC when its price is 8 satoshi and it touches the 1 cent price again or even 2 and you have at least 2 BTC already.
Ok but this is just one of the very few exceptions which come out once a year...
What I am concerned about mostly in this topic - is to maybe think of an idea for those who spent 3 prices of a Bitcoin 6 months ago and now they have only what they have, maybe a way to multiply them. The crypto world is still a game and this means there are plenty of methods to gain wins. it's exactly like a war - the smart ones multiply their pockets during it.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 11:16:37 AM

Surely many people bought at that peak time because that was the time lot of new investors was rushing to buy bitcoins. But not sure how many people are still holding these bitcoins. I believe many new investors might have already sold at loss in a panic but only old investors who know how bitcoin prices move might be still holding. Whoever is still holding they can take some risk to buy now at a lower price to reduce their buy price.

That's an idea. Also they might've exchange their Bitcoins to some potential altcoins that keep rising ( XRP ) for example or something else that has a good perspective. I wouldn't sell my Bitcoins because as far as we remember, it goes up in most cases at the end of the year. It was always unstable so what's the difference this year? Ups and downs always, but UPs in December.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 10:47:21 AM
$10,000 to $20,000 is 100% profit only. Look at the money you have to spend to buy 1 Bitcoin.

$20,000 to $40,000 is 100% profit only and the risk of loss is highest. So there are sellers only at $19,000

So $400 or $1,000 is the right price for Bitcoin.

I'm not sure I completely understood you. You want to say there weren't peple who bought Bitcoin when its price was 19.000?
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I wonder - are there ppl here who bought BTC when it was 19k ? on: May 29, 2018, 10:34:37 AM
So, as we remember, on December 17th the price of BTCBTC went to it's maximum point and reached the value of 19,086 $
I can only imagine how enthusiastic some people felt and thought it is their time and bought Bitcoins for this price feeling absolutely sure that BTCBTC started its way up and the only direction is only UP! And BOOM!  - it started to roll back and never ever reached that peack again...
I can only imagine how these people feel now... Waking up every morning with the hope that something positive has changed in their direction. Ok, there are millionaires that even after they bought 10...maybe 50 Bitcoins, didin't get that angry or sad as the ones who maybe spent more than a half of their savings or even worse...EVERYTHING... Embarrassed
If there are any of them here on the forum, tell me what are you doing, how do you feel, how do you manage your hopes and how optimistic is your attitude to the situation. What forecatsts keep you alive and steel? What do people say? How much have you spent on Bitcoins? Besides investors, there might be some simple enthusiasts... How is the mood in your families?
Also, even those who haven't spent so much on BTC or even spent nothing - what do you think of this? What will be in December? What is you point of view upon this situations? I was always thinking about this, but never had time to write this post on the forum. Was to busy working for my tiny salary lol  Cheesy

Correction: On December 16th it was 19,343 $ - which is even higher than mentioned above. Information taken from https://www.coindesk.com/price/ from the yearly statement
