Is it possible that one person or group fake the whole BCN blockchain to make it look like BCN has been mined by many computers for almost 2 years? I doubt it's possible, at least I can't come up with a way. Who will do such thing anyway ? One possibility is the developer premined BCN and made it look like it was not premined.

Hello! While we are discussing changes in BitMonero, the discussion itself draws attention to both currencies. Pictures say more than words. I can understand difficulty changes on BMR. BCN seems to be very strange as usual. Here is transaction flow chart for both currencies: You can still vote for BitMonero on Comkort: https://comkort.com/voteCould you update the chart?

Just for everyone to be sure, if you retrieved the source code from github lately and compiled it, you are automatically voting for merged mining. You can tell by looking at cryptonote_config.h in /src/ SUPPORT merged mining: #define CURRENT_BLOCK_MINOR_VERSION 1 AGAINST merged mining: #define CURRENT_BLOCK_MINOR_VERSION 0 That's right. Results will be calculated starting from the moment an explicit voting option will be provided. How will the votes be calculated? By the hash power or by number of miner?

I'm holding on to my blacks, in bad times and good times And is there an ETA for the new front-end at www.blackcoinpool.com? The giveaway for a KNC Titan 300MH/s scrypt will soon start too, on the 2nd of may. I am holding the blackcoin I mined too

Hello girls and boys as some of you may know, I did the weekly CW updates here on Bitcointalk and told you kind people what's going on and what's new. I will cease this CW update for about 2-3 weeks since there is so much FUD, angry people, and people harassing our members. If you are interested in Zetacoin, we now have a new Forum on zetacoin.cc along with nobs.is We are restructuring as of now and looking forward on seeing you in our new Zetacoin Forum. There will be all the legit news and announcements : ) Thank you -Shadow I think that at this moments, bitcointalk can do more for zetacoin than "zetacoin.cc". probably many people will forget the coin, bitcointalk is moving a lot of people now... +1

Are the BitMoneros supposed to be send back to community if those BitMoneros were bought from miner?
|
|

For what it's worth I really don't think Monero needs merged mining and strongly discourage others from following through with this. Monero can stand on its own as the first freely-distributed Cryptonote currency and doesn't need to be tied to Bytecoin, which is more than 80% mined already. Why bother affiliating with another coin when Monero has already seen huge increases in hash in only one week of mining? If a botnet hadn't jumped on Bytecoin Monero was already on track to surpass its net hash.

isnt 3% premine a bit too much? The premine will be distributed amongst the community in order to foster growth and speed up the adoption process. We plan to host give several bounties out just to name a few: 1. Exchanges who chose to accept BlueCoin. 2. Games that add BlueCoin to their website. 3. Pools who choose to support us. 4. Merchant processors. 5. Mobile application developers. 6. Community giveaways. We’re working on a comprehensive list of bounties and shall be announcing those tonight. And rest for dump on big PUMP ofcourse and expensive champagne. !If not POST in public main blue adress with all premine and count coins somewhere for transparency. I know that hurts. +1

Quark has been added as an auto-payout option on the very well run and established profit switching multipool, Hashcows. The Quark team has heard the cries of miners seeking a way to more effectively mine Quark - now you can do just that by enabling Quark as your auto-payout option for Hashcows mining pool. The pool takes care of all the coin transactions and mines the most profitable scrypt coins and then automatically converts them to Quark, when enabled, for payouts instead of Bitcoin. Hurry and support Quark and our new friends at Hashcows by throwing your mining power into the ring here: https://hashco.ws/www.qrk.cc/pressTwitter: @QuarkPress Vic That's great news for Qrk

That was not a dump!!! It was a trading error with Mintpal. Never has a dump gone down 40,000 sat in less than 5 minutes and then back up again in 1 minute.
Actually, I was watching cryptsy and the same happened, slightly off timewise. Seems like the usual whale dump to cause a panic selling then immediately grabbing the cheap coins. No it didn't. It went down to 83,000 and that was due to the "panic" on Mintpal. It did NOT go down to nearly 50,000 as it did on Mintpal. I did see 60,000 on cryptsy.

2% premine is to much. I would suggest the developer reduce premine.

Zeitcoin has been at 1 or 2 satoshis in the past several weeks... I have no confidence in this coin.
We are talking about Zetacoin, not Zeitcoin
