Please update by 19.00 UTC Thursday 5th October before the soft fork. See my previous post above for more details.
What will happen if i dont? Can i lose my coins or will it just be a problem if i want to send my coins? Dont i have to import my wallet.dat ? Cause in the above post you wrote: Close old wallet, download new wallet, install and done. In previose postings i read to export and import my privkeys/wallet.dat. Thanks for your help! don't send or stake from the old wallet ...wait until you've transferred to the new wallet and your coins should be fine where do i download the new walllet https://github.com/BlocknetDX/BlockDX/releases/tag/v3.7.271

Is the new wallet's staking is disabled? Great progress on the project.
ya I have more then 5000 block so I would like to setup a node but not until a GUI windows version is released.... until then can I stake my coins in the new wallet? any timeframe on the release of the new windows wallet. You can stake your coins now. Time frame for the UI is supposedly Dec/early 2018.

i downloaded the BlockNet wallet so I've got the "BlockNet Decentralized Application Platform" but it doesn't look like i can do anything with it...
At the moment, the wallet is being updated to support API trades. There will be things happening soon, but for now, yes it's kinda quiet. The UI is also being developed by an outside firm so when that is done, then for sure more trades will be happening.

Do you know when Bittrex is going to reopen Blocknet deposits/withdrawals?
Probably shortly after Oct 6.

Ouch, gonna be awhile.. 12 days as an estimate.. :/ You can easily fix that situation! Just get more block!

Anyone?? How long will it take me to stake my first stake with 100 Block?? is it worth the effort??
It could well be depending on how high block goes. If you have your computer on full time anyway just leave it running. right, it runs 24/7 I am just curious how long it should take, been running for few days so far.. make sure you see a green light bottom of the wallet that say that your staking is active. Yes, it is Green.. Depending on the amount of block you have staking, it could take some time... 1 block of 100 BLOCK.. Ya, that's going to take a while

For few time ago I see the Cosmo project and think is very big project in this stage of crypto-currency era. Today I hear first time about the Blocknet project and I say: Wow! Incredibil! I want to be more near of this project to analize and posible can be part in Blocknet ecosistem. Good work. Good succes!
Blocknet definitely have flew under the radar. When the SPV wallet and UI comes out... watch out! The world will know especially people in China that can't trade alt coins any more.

how can i store this coin offline?is there any paper wallet generator available?
You can use the BIP38 tools built into the wallet to encrypt your private key. It's kinda a paper wallet.... The key it generates is encrypted with the pass phrase that you entered.

btw will blocknet prevent usage of trading bots?
Think Arlyn said that there will be API that supports bots to create liquidity... That's also how block will be bought to support the fee structure of people trading without block.

Will blocknet have offline trading, limit orders or it will just be manual orders like the others dex?
From the slack: https://theblocknet.slack.com/archives/C033U15CG/p1503916809000119?thread_ts=1503872488.000046&cid=C033U15CGsynechist [3:40 AM] If I'm not mistaken, the context of this is an article about how (primitive) decentralized exchanges lack limit orders and are more like OTC or barter markets. I believe that limit and market orders are fully implementable over the Blocknet, which, unlike Etherdelta, does not put orders on a blockchain, and thus may implement fast, complex order-matching logic to run upon the order book. You can expect such logic to be implemented on the Blocknet.

Those are just the tested ones. Most coins that support BIP65 and JSON-RPC should work. Ethereum and ERC20 tokens will work in conjunction with the 0x protocol (as well as Ethfinex in the near future)

Launch is planned for the first of september as far as I know.
I wonder if there even will be BLOCK for sale left by then
I doubt many will try to sell their BLOCKs given the huge long term potential it has.
only 50.000 / 10 service nodes left for sale! thats under 1.5% of the total available supply...
crazy!
The world seems to have awoken to the fact that blocknet is for real and is FOMOing over it now.
