Launch is planned for the first of september as far as I know.

I wonder if there even will be BLOCK for sale left by then

I doubt many will try to sell their BLOCKs given the huge long term potential it has.

only 50.000 / 10 service nodes left for sale! thats under 1.5% of the total available supply...

crazy!

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

The world seems to have awoken to the fact that blocknet is for real and is FOMOing over it now.

Would a name change be possible? Or is that much of a hassle?

Will Blocknet support Ledgerwallet.com?
And while they're at it, the remaining hardware wallets as well.

There is no particular how many coins are successfully tested on DEX but when UI will be up than we will see it into organize list. I think OP had a list of them and would like to share this into this thread so wait I also interested to know about this.

I heard about blocknet on reddit a week but couldn't find any detailed information. Now I have stumbled upon this thread and their website.

Sounds great, just wish I had bought in before this massive spike

I fear that buying the rumor of the wallet might leave me holding a bag come next week

So 23 coins so far?

Those are just the tested ones.   Most coins that support BIP65 and JSON-RPC should work.

Ethereum and ERC20 tokens will work in conjunction with the 0x protocol (as well as Ethfinex in the near future)

in my honest opinion if blocknet had a much cooler name then the FOMO would be crazy.

But this one has more beauty inside compared to a lot of well marketed coins.

Blocknet is a great name

The devs view offline trading as a key feature.  They have said this so I am sure it will arrive in due course.  Smiley

If I'm not mistaken, the context of this is an article about how (primitive) decentralized exchanges lack limit orders and are more like OTC or barter markets.
I believe that limit and market orders are fully implementable over the Blocknet, which, unlike Etherdelta, does not put orders on a blockchain, and thus may implement fast, complex order-matching logic to run upon the order book. You can expect such logic to be implemented on the Blocknet.
