You can now mine around 29 LTC a month . That will drop to 24-26 for next month... In other words, you will get your money back until Oct-Nov if you start mining now.
I still believe that you will be able to ROI even if you start in Sept - Dec. But not sure for after that ....

I hope their next batch will be for like November-December . They need to let the coin breathe a bit, otherwise they will destroy LTC and its mining, and they will run out of business. Depends if they think long term or short term profits for themselves  |

it's simple, either buy securely on bitmain.com , but you will get it at your doorstep first week of October , price 40 LTC
Or pay over 6000$us for one from the July -August batch
Or pay 10k$+ for a used May batch , and you get it in 10 days up running.

if that guy was buying 40 L3+ for the september batch let's say
that's
40 x 2000$us = 80,000$ ( add 10k$ for shipping and customs ) , so 90,000$us to purchase.
I know thats 32,000W of electricity.
If he starts mining on the 1st of October, assuming the difficulty will 450,000 by then,
He will mine:

Let's imagine November, with difficulty raising again at 500,000 ,
He will still make 24,200$us in November.
In other words, he will get back his money that's for sure.
Remember that there is also a 1-2 months break in between batches that are shipped, so difficulty doesn't increase 40% per month every month.
A smart thing to do, is that if you make 675LTC a month like that guy with the miners, is to buy 1 additional unit a month for 40LTC, in order to compensate for the difficulty rise.
Obviously those machines will get outdated at one point. It is wise to sell some before that if possible, because they are the best and fastest LTC miner till now..
But if you think about it , the same happens with Genesis, you buy 2 year contract, but difficulty goes up, so you upgrade and buy a bit of hash power every month so that you can still get your desired results.

contact them it's not normal.
When you pay with BTC or LTC etc.. the status changes to PAID within 30 minutes. It's fast.
Wire transfer takes about 4 business days to reach them. I bought units with bank wire and also LTC payments , so i can tell you.
But it's not normal that you dont have any orders. If you delay too much to send a wire, the status goes to EXPIRED, but still the order shows in the MY ORDERS category.

back then the machines were cheap around 1300$us. i was able to buy 1 at this price which was cheap at 1000eur. But after that came the 40LTC batches etc... anyway |

If you were smart enough to purchase early for the July batch, you should've purchased more machines!!

How many machines did you order? Maybe bitmain could say it was sent for repair and sent back to you. maybe you will pay less.
I don't think that it is correct to pay 300-400$us of taxes per machine. That is ridiculous man...

How much are customs per machine? ( not shipping, just taxes )
becaue im sure they are sending the invoice with the machine, so definately taxes are unavoidable for the EU

Bitsmain.com is a scam www.bitmain.com that is the real site. BTC and LTC payments are instant. You can send a wire too, in UK pounds, it will be converted to dollars when reaching their account. |

I personally think that in September the difficulty will be between 320k - 370k .
And if you do calculations, it is still profitable to mine at this difficulty.
I've done calculations with difficulty at 450k , and that made me push the button and buy miners. Litecoin genesis contracts are sold out for too long now.
Also, there arent that many LTC miners. Regardless of the Bitmain ones, the others are lame with a mere 60MHS speed etc..
I don't know how many pieces Bitmain's batch have... But i dont think it's in the thousands... way below 500 units i think...

well,
the way i purchased the machines was that i was purchasing like 1-2 machines every 10-15 days. So i had to pay shipping for each order about 85$, even if it was for the same batch..

Then why we have to pay separate shipping for the unites and the PSU? Why don't they combine shipping on checkout...

Hey miningmania, I already have my machines bought from bitmain. But why are you selling them? You bought them to sell them? especially for 35LTC? I would suggest you get into mining, because with 4 machines you can mine wonders! And don't be afraid about difficulty .. it will increase slightly until end of July , but even with calculation done with the difficulty double from the current one, it is still great mining with 4 machnes |

madmex, there was a batch of ap3++ that could get 2 l3+ powered on them... I got one of those, but it is better to not use the max power of the psu for 2 units. Better use 1 1600W PSU for 1 800W L3+ , it is much healthier, given the fact that the machine will run 30 days a month non-stop.
I have 1 of those that can get 2 machines powered at 220v , but i run it though 1 machine. But it is good to know that worst case, if i buy another machine i could plug it in until the new psu arrives

make a crate made of MDF, soundproof the inner parts of the crate, make 2 5inch holes for the air ducts to breath in = out on both sides and your dB level will drop from 79dB to around 55dB.

Do you think that if the L3+ is in a custom made wooden crate with soundproofing and tubes for the air, and it sucks cold air from behind, that the cold is enough to keep good temp inside the machine + circuits , cards etc...?
Or i need to put extra fans on the inside too to keep the machine contraction cool too...
