It's been trading at 15k - 19k and you guys are trying to sell for 50k?

XEL threads are always good for a laugh Cheesy

Say where, On heat imposible, not volume. Not here not idiot offers like this. Not on Slack trading chanel.

Where?

Heat volume: 150 BTC
Heat price: 19k

Looks like someone is trying to artificially inflate the price too, so even 19k is probably overpriced.

50k is really laughable  Cheesy

I never really understood the psychology of the hater.

I think it branches from insecurity. They see others who are talented and put themselves out there on a project like this. Something wildly technical and with a working prototype. So, to make themselves feel better; to make themselves feel like the hero; they have to bring hate.

They have nothing to offer of actual value, but to remedy their inner being they have to tell everyone else that they are bad.

I love how you keep responding to yourself in a desperate attempt to hide unflattering posts. Really paints a picture of mental stability  Cheesy

These days, people who try to save other people from scams aren't called "haters". You may need to update your dictionary!

If scammers hate me, I'm fine with that.

Hello,

I would like to buy coins to maybe do a x100, x1000 in 2-5 years. (I know I can lost this monnaie)

Actually I invested in :

- 20 000 SIA
- 1000 Ripple
- 10 000 Verge

Can you please advice me other currencies that cost less than 0,30$ /u and explain why you think this currency will grow !
Sorry for my bad english.

Thank's in advance for your help.

You mistook price for market cap and bought two of the worst coins (for your purpose) as a result Cheesy

Update on Slack:

Quote
...snip...

Thanks for posting that, I think it will do a lot to reassure people who aren't in Slack (the majority of investors probably aren't).

They still need to work on their communication though... having a Twitter that's been inactive since the ICO looks bad for them. Same for their blog.

i'm new to via - have made me a bit clever at their homepage (roadmap, project, ...)
invest 1 BTC in Viacoin - i hope its the right moment  Wink
I hope so too, but it's not looking so good right now. While everything else has been rebounding since the bloodbath, Via is just kind of hovering in the same spot.

Every time I sort my Blockfolio by price increase, Viacoin is always way down at the bottom  Cry
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XEL] Elastic Project - The Decentralized Supercomputer on: June 29, 2017, 03:53:13 PM
I think the new leads in this project owe the public an explanation of the things that went wrong in the previous "iteration", and, more importantly, what steps were taken to ENSURE that this will not happen again this time.

I am yet to see this, just deleted posts and blog entries on THEIR OWN WEBSITE.

It's never going to happen. The fact that they delete posts is extremely suspicious. The fact that they attack anyone who questions them is even more suspicious. Guilty conscience, probably.

The new dev is anonymous just like Lannister, so he could disappear at any moment too. Major exchanges don't like to list coins with anonymous devs, so the price will probably never go up.

48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viacoin (VIA) - Safe | Segwit | Lightning Network | Auxpow | Fast on: June 29, 2017, 03:43:00 PM
I think it should be over 100k sats currently.
why not 200k?
At the rate it's going, we'll see 20k before 200k...

@OrsonJ: I understand your will to demonstrate your amazing foresight, but unfortunately your quoted post pretty much missed the mark, and there was no point in quoting it. If you care to invest your time in reading more about Elastic story, you will see why.

As for this:
And what exactly are you trying to tell us now?

Just reminding people about the XEL scam so they don't get scammed again.

Status of Lannister and the ICO funds

April 15, 2017 by Unvoid

Lannister is gone. ICO funds are gone. We don’t know why. We don’t know if we ever see him again. It’s not like “he took all the funds and run away” because before disappearing he rewarded some of community members with some BTC for their work. He mentioned that he have some health problems also. That’s all we know now.

You cannot be THAT stupid... I don't believe it. It is safe to assume you're just butthurt troll-manipulator.

But anyway - for everybody who read the bullshit quoted above:

Lannister was just a fund and community manager. He did not develop the code. And yes - he disappeared. But - here we come to the MAIN point, which makes this brilliant project stand alone of everything else - read this carefully: the project continued to develop and is evolving rapidly, thanks to the big and enthusiastic community and a team of volunteer developers! This is THE REAL CRYPTO COMMUNITY PROJECT, not just a centralized ICO money grab, with paid developers working until they have the ICO money to spend.

Don't compare this to Golem or all other Ethereum-based ultra-hyped ICO - though they also have their merits, but they are driven by money only - they have just paid devs, hired by investors. Unlike this one.

So stop the bullshit, pretty please.

I point out a simple fact, you call me stupid. Funny how that works.

A little insecure, aren't you?
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 |ANN| MYSTERIUM NETWORK - Decentralized VPN built on blockchain |MYST| on: June 28, 2017, 08:41:25 PM
It is so disgusting to read those massive whines all about the same: lack of communication, blah blah...
Developers communicate in the official way.
All the news for the moment from them:
We are setting up development environment and looking for extra developers to join the team.
I appreciate their attitude to these whiners, keeping silence is the best solution.
And this makes me believe it will be super successful project, as they are concentrated on things that matter.
Moreover, they provided you with instant Bittrex listing just next day ICO ended.
They understand these so-called investors very well...

I always find it funny how people like you desperately try to twist negatives into positives when someone mentions even a hint of criticism.

"Silence is the best solution"? Are you kidding me? Did you even think about how stupid that sounds before you typed it? Transparency is the best solution.

People invested MILLIONS of dollars in the MYST team, and now they can't even be bothered to post some simple progress updates? They had no problem constantly posting everywhere before/during the ICO, but suddenly they can't even muster the energy for a single tweet? Their GitHub also hasn't had any activity in weeks.

That's shady as hell, and I'm really glad I didn't buy any MYST.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viacoin (VIA) - Safe | Segwit | Lightning Network | Auxpow | Fast on: June 28, 2017, 08:26:29 PM
Every day is a VIA day.  Cheesy when are we doing segwit?

Everything seems to be rebounding heavily today except VIA

It's at the very bottom of the list when I sort blockfolio by 24h price change
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XEL] Elastic Project - The Decentralized Supercomputer on: June 28, 2017, 06:20:50 PM
Ok as I was there on day 1 and one of the first people to donate, I definitely have a say in this. There were three announcement threads and I was active on all of them. What you are saying in utter FUD and untrue. Just trying to get cheap coins. What a weasel.

Lannister never stole anything. He had two main accounts back then and made no secret of it. Later on he stopped using the "Lannister" account and focused on his main one. He is still active and sometimes participating in the Elastic community. That is all I will say on the matter.

This whole project gets more entertaining every day.

The ghost of Lannister is still here, EK has now quit the forums, and anyone who isn't a mindless XEL fanboy must be trying to get cheap coins. Hilarious.

You guys really are brainwashed. Maybe you should all get T-Shirts that say "XELots" on them.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: wich altcoins should i choose to invest in ? on: June 28, 2017, 04:00:54 PM
hi guys,
i made a list of altcoins that i want to invest in after searching for the project of each coin , i found 15  interesting coins . But after a lot of discussion with multiples persons they told me that 15 coins is too much and that i should reduce the number of coins .
here is the list :
- SYS
- BAY
- PASCAL LITE
- XZC
- DARCRUS
- ZOIN
- RENOS
- SPREADCOIN
- ANS
- ANT
- BAT
- LISK
- ARK
- ZEN
- NEXUS

what coins should i keep and what coins should i remove ? ( i want to reduce it to 7 coins )

I like most of those. ANS still makes me nervous though, too much irrational hype when it first showed up, but it could work out in the end. My personal picks so far:

VIA
XZC
CRW
TRST
EDG
BAY
BAT
QRL
XCP
GBYTE
VOX

Throw a big chunk in LTC for stability.

This thread is still open for uncensored discussion of the XEL scam and the shady behavior of other XEL contributors. They would prefer you move to their self-moderated thread so they can delete your questions and criticism.

Lannister, originally the project lead, collected "ICO" funds for XEL and then disappeared with the money. They refused to do an ICO with escrow, and he insisted on calling the ICO funds "donations" so he couldn't be held accountable:

Their original launch was also extremely suspicious and the creator of that thread has disappeared mysteriously (noticing a pattern here?):

Agreed this is one of the clearest examples of a scam I've seen in recent times. Well done for trying to warn people about it. It started with a newbie account whose real-life name was supposedly "Lionel Keys" posting as ElasticCoin. Immediately a few of us pressed for some kind of info to verify his identity (given it was an ICO without escrow), which he said would be coming soon. In the mean time I began finding Evil-Knievel's behaviour in the thread extremely suspicious. He wasn't (publicly) in charge of the probject at this point but from the start was shilling hard (talking about how much he'd invested) and answering the bulk of the questions that were intended for the dev. It was obvious to me he was involved with the project whilst pretending not to be.

Every post from the ElasticCoin account was subsequently deleted from that thread (presumably when they realized they'd messed up and that there was no way to hide how shady the whole thing was), Lionel Keys disappeared (abandoning a project he'd supposedly spent months working on and preparing) and Evil-Knievel suddenly emerged as project lead.

I haven't enough time to dig through it, but here's the original thread. Evil-Knievel has also deleted every single post he made in that thread, though enough of his and ElasticCoin's original posts have been preserved in quotes in replies to show you what's going on here.

XEL already down to 10k sats on heatwallet.

Looks like the jig is up, fellas. The market knows your story and they're not buying.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🚀 |ANN| MYSTERIUM NETWORK - Decentralized VPN built on blockchain |MYST| on: June 27, 2017, 03:21:20 PM
The devs made a huge mistake in going silent after the ICO. It looks really bad on them. If they had come out to speak about the future, the price would have been higher for the first few days. Now the price is headed towards $1 (the ICO price!). People will lose trust for the future.

I did invest and sold for a loss. But I just lost hope with the silence.

Yup, someone told me about this project when it launched on Bittrex and I thought it sounded awesome.

Then I looked at all their public communication and it was obvious they'd gone silent once the ICO was over. That alone was enough to make me avoid MYST like the plague.

I'm not sure exactly what's happening, but it's pretty suspicious...
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves $ 100 ? on: June 27, 2017, 03:06:09 PM
I wouldn't say he has a huge ego, I'd say he believes in his project as many other people. Who doesn't see the future in Waves is blind...If they succed with their dex and becomes like Poloniex then there is no price limit. The ICOs didn't harm ETH, but profits are taken out of crypto and will come flowing back in...simple as that.

Some of the ICOs crippled ETH for entire days, and the ICO frenzy has brought a lot of negative publicity that reminds people of the dot-com bubble. There are "companies" (if we can even call them that) being showered with tens of millions of dollars even though they have nothing to show for it.

Suddenly it's not such a good thing to be associated with ICOs...
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XEL] Elastic Project - The Decentralized Supercomputer on: June 27, 2017, 02:56:22 PM

would you plz calm down?

we are willingly "scamed" by this great project.

plz.  most contributors are feeling very comfortable with current situation and future.

don't bother taking care of us.

Some of you already drank the Kool-Aid. It's too late for you, but there are other people out there considering investing in XEL. Those are the people who need to know the full story so they don't get scammed.

why you should never sell your waves
June 27, 2017
My day today (just a normal day)

chronologically:

met a big VC fund (100 mil) that wants to do an ICO for a subfund for online home services
met a VR project that wants to do an ICO, working prototype.
Had negotiations with national depositary regarding a project of verifying digital assets ownership. Certificates of ownership for blockchain tokens, that could be a groundbreaking project connecting corporate world to the world of crypto
Set up a call with top security audit firm (Kudelski) regarding Waves code audit
Talked to another ICO project (chat bots, working marketplace with revenue)
Went to the top Russian Business TV channel to talk about crypto and ICO's, with Vitalik participating on Skype
Met another ICO project (payment system, guys own an offshore bank)
met a lawyer who is building the legal structure for tokenomica.com
had a talk with the most famous HR specialist in Russia, set up another interview for CMO position.
played with my kid for an hour
had another call regarding PR and international promotion
Besides, Primalbase.com raised around 5 mil in the first day of their ICO,

and two new members joined our team: Max (CBDO) and Anna (my PA)

Just a normal day.

Guys never sell your waves, we're gonna nail it.

Cheers.

Sasha wrote that and I think he's right...never sell your waves, we're gonna nail it !
Sounds like he has a pretty huge ego and is desperate to impress people. I also don't see the ICO frenzy as a good thing. Look what it did to ETH...
