I'm in the US and Ive tried both FedEx and UPS from Bitmain, I like FedEx better, UPS will charge you import tax fees when delivered where as FedEx will bill your CC on file. They both might hold it for awhile if its your first import but one miner is pretty small dollar amount. Just watch tracking if it gets held up in receiving center you may need to call the international shipping 800 number.

Yes I list SSN number with Bitmain but each Shipping Carrier has their own import forms that need to be filled out, not sure of dollar amount where that kicks in but probably around 10k, once you do that they will remember the next time they come thru.

Bitmain is not always quick to update email shipping notice, they might not update till package almost delivered, you can also log into website and check shipping status.

But you will need someone to be there to sign for or make some kind of arrangement as they won't just leave it without signature.

I don't think Luxor mining pool is set up for asic miners, maybe in future.

I'm planing on taking some profits from the A3 and get a NAS storage device and set it up on the Sia Network, similar to this article describes.

In 30 days time you have at least a 50% chance of a price increase. You also have a chance to make 150000 Sia coins in a month according to the spec for the Obelisk. Sia pretty much guaranteed the first batch 6 weeks of 250000 siacoins per miner. Thats roughly 5000 a day in siacoins, at todays price thats 280$. I think that was figured for 4k miners in the first release.

Even if Sia did something Bitmain could also apply a software patch update too

Sia won't do anything they would look worse than Bitmain, its a free market and anyone can produce miners besides I think Bitmain has a interest in the Sia network for their upcoming IA chip.

I have 5 D3's running long with S9's, L3+ and BW L21 I know what to expect. I just don't agree with everyone saying it will be worthless in two weeks time.

Since I've been mining for like a year now I've found most online calculators to be way short in the estimates that can be made. Especially in the monthly amount as the price goes up daily your profits can be twice as much.

This new Antminer A3 miner appears to be a basis for Bitmain's entrance into a cryptocurrency which will support the massive off-site data storage requirements inherent in its AI operations.

The Obelisk was to long to market I think, almost a year was the reason I opted out.

Supposedly there are a couple doctors of cryptography on the team so despite the present poor state of the english translation of the site it might actually be an interesting fork. Along with the high supply, quantum resistance and meme potential this one isn't looking too bad. Certainly better than bitcoin gold and the other periodic chart forks.
