Why do you put cpu friendly asic resistant cryptonote algo when your white paper says scrypt, then you proceed to change thread algo to simply pow?

So you are saying that my AI persona will learn that the best way forward is to go rogue and scam everyone else and make bad decisions? I'm sold

does anyone know why bittrex blocked the creation of addresses to send the coin?

If only you read the announcements made by bittrex or simply be more involved in the crypto scene

TLDR: Ethereum blockchain is very congested, eth addresses and token addresses based on erc20 has been disabled for new users until further notice

Hello, Plan to move to Singapore for 6 month, I will receive salary as bitcoin, do you guys know will I be able to withdraw money from local Singapore exchanges?

What's the point of receiving salary as bitcoin if u are instantly converting it to fiat currency?

Yes you can withdraw to local bank accounts using xfers through FAST protocols. If you are using coinbase and already verified, nothing changes.

it worth buying a btc hardware if u have 50++ btc,
here another hardware wallet, alternative to trezor, called ledger nano s.
watch youtube for the tutorial.

it worth buying a hardware wallet device if u have 50++ btc SGD worth of BTC. Said hardware comes with their own instruction manual written nicely with the device.

Security is only as strong as the weakest link, the majority of the coins/tokens you list aren't exactly what attackers would want. Even if you use a different pc, if they are connected to the same network, it makes no difference for an attacker that compromised one of the many

I think most of you guys got manual verification done too right?

Received a mail saying:

Dear **************

I would like to apologize for the delay in resolving your enhanced verification issue. In the past few weeks we have made significant improvements to our verification system and have more than doubled the number of support agents.

At this time I am pleased to inform you that your account has been approved for enhanced verification.

Thank you for being patient with us while we continue to improve our verification processes and grow our support team.

Director of Support

same here, still my ticket no reply until now.
How long you did not get reply? I already 5 days

Actually mine was only 5 days too, got a message from support saying they detected some verification error and will verify me within 24 hours, booms not even one hour later enchanced

Still waiting for a response to my support ticket I submitted two weeks ago. Withdrawal levels for my 3+ years old account were set to 0 without any notification or warning. I did nothing wrong. I traded from time to time. They request to do verification. The simple verification (by providing personal data) did not work because it searches data in a database and that database only contains information of US citizens. So I need to submit ID etc just to make a simple $400 valued altcoin withdrawal Huh

Bittrex has been my favorite exchange for years. I'll never ever trade on this platform again.

Seems like it happened to everyone too, my manual enhanced verification ticket had some magic done to it yesterday and now everything seems fine, lots of new regulations too, so not surprised they reset everyone's status

Anyone has any idea how to escalate a manual verification ticket? Been weeks, trying to liquidate before getting in again after the upcoming cliff drop to 10k

It is a million dollar question nowadays.

2fa trick looks to be working time to time so you can try it. But probably you need to be very lucky.

If only I knew.. I just had a 2Fa issue fixed before this.. i wonder if i can lose a phone again :|

20 December 2017: Bitcoin not a currency, investors risk losing all: Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)

Firstly, I'd like to comment that someone actually have purchased a house using Bitcoin[1].

Secondly, I would like to add that I agree with the article that the price of Bitcoin will eventually move toward the south as the current price is largely due to speculation. When the bubble break, the chances of it moving downward is extremely high.

Sad truth is that we all know the current state of bitcoin as it is isnt going to scale well compared to a few other cryptos like Ether. Current fees is just too infeasible in the long term
57  Other / Meta / Ability to block Personal Messages from members Newbie and Below? on: December 21, 2017, 06:34:16 AM
My inbox has been spammed with so many fake scam icos from newbies and brand new, if only there was a way to filter out messages from the 2 ranks where most of the spam come from so I can keep the legit conversations separate from the spam.
58  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Singapore on: December 19, 2017, 10:54:50 AM
want to ask, what causes the BTC account easily banned especially newbie ?? Thx

Don't keep your btc in exchanges.
Always use reliable and trusted exchange to trade.
Keep your btc in trusted wallet (use blockchain.info)

Erm hello ... Blockchain.info is NOT A TRUSTED WALLET

If your wallet is stored by someone else, it is not trusted, simple as that.

Even if you store on your own computer, I would be hard pressed to claim that is trusted.

The only trusted wallet is an offline hardware wallet like a trezor
59  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is so costly. Why would that be? on: December 06, 2017, 03:33:36 AM
Among the many millions of threads we already have here, and the other million articles that would have been written from someone in your country if one bitcoin can be converted to "hundred of thousands in your currency".

Have you ever thought of using the search terms "What is bitcoin?", or "Why is bitcoin rising?"

The thought I am going to give you is one does not simply not use google for simple questions like this.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another hard fork coming in October. New Bitcoin name is "Bitcoin Gold" on: September 29, 2017, 04:44:24 AM
There is only one BITCOIN I know. Any other coin with Bitcoin attached to its name is either an Altcoin or a mere Bitcoin wannabe.
Bitcoin will continue to be the most popular coin unless it is hijacked by anti-cryptocurrency/anti-decentralization rebels.

The sad truth is Bitcoin is way more centralized than you know
