41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: July 15, 2017, 05:05:40 PM
It makes sense to reduce exchange-default risk by trading on multiple exchanges. Exchanges are probably one of the biggest attack targets in the crypto community and so it would be wise to use them sparingly.
42  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Will quantum computing kill crypto? on: July 15, 2017, 04:57:25 PM
Not necessarily. There may be instances where the cryptographic primitives used in bitcoin are broken with quantum computing. But there are plenty of post-quantum cryptographic protocols being developed to secure the future if quantum computers continue to improve. There is also literature on e.g. quantum bitcoin protocol which implements these post-quantum crypto ideas to build quantum cryptocurrencies!

Super moon bull season --> Bitcoin rallied, top-tier alts rallied, and all other ships sailed the rising tide!

45  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: July 15, 2017, 04:35:54 PM
If (WHEN) USD falls (Plummets)... capital will fly to all sorts of alternative investments. Land, fine art, gold and Bitcoin will all undergo significant price rallies IMHO.

50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: July 15, 2017, 03:58:58 PM
Build a portfolio of alt coins which have genuine potential - which have a dedicated team with a vision - and manage the risk associated with each position appropriately.

Oh, and try and make BTC not FIAT... in the long run that's what will count

55  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is taxation theft? on: July 15, 2017, 03:14:26 PM
If you didn't consent to someone taking your property, then it is theft! Is all theft unjust? Depends on your point of view.

Money is actually debt... unless you're talking about BTC or Gold of course  Wink
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why All Coins Dump? on: July 15, 2017, 02:41:00 PM
It's natural for markets to go up and down. Low liquidity of cryptocurrencies means increased volatility. These markets are complex systems (in the technical sense) and crashes and pumps are inevitable. Invest only in a project where the dev team has shown real commitment or you'll forever be worrying about the current price instead of seeing a year or two into the future.
