41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: November 16, 2017, 03:45:41 AM
I've been trying to find the correct version of ccminer to mine FTC with my 1080ti sc2.  The closest I've gotten is a version of ccminer-75 that's optimized for the correct algorithm, but says it's only optimized for the maxwell series gpus from nvidia (last gen)

so I'm only getting like 550-600kh/s

I feel like I should be getting more than that shouldn't I?

It's overclocked core +60mhz/vram +560mhz 120% pt, +12%voltage increase and it's completely stable 24/7 at around 66c, never goes over 69c

thanks!

**found the best miner so far, getting ~1600 KH/s on my 1080ti now on neoscrypt with ccminer tpruvot

I think I was using this one for FTC

neoscrypt is the best right now. but personally I use automated system that checks diff and profit ratio and point my miners to the most profitable altcoin. I get very good results with this strategy.

Are you using one of the known multi miners? If so, which one?  I have been thinking about going this route but not looking forward to the down time setting up and testing the various ones.

"Attention! Pool is currently syncing to the BTG chain and will be up shortly!"

Notice your site says "Attention! Pool is currently syncing to the BTG chain and will be up shortly!
Blockchain Height should be 499407 to start mining. Current value: 492896"

Is this due to their pre-mining?

Do you try to use 1080Ti to mine some BTX, this coin is promising and it has special algorithm for GPU mining.

It's profitable and has a hashrate about 22M

I recommend to mine this coins by your 1080Ti
32M actually

What miner are you using to get 32 hashrate?  I am at 80% PL and only getting about 24-25

Have somebody noticed huge difference between EWBF and CCminer?

I'm mining ZenCoin.

Hashrate with EWBF: 680H/S (175W)
Hashrate with ccminer: 520H/S (175W)

Why?

Ccminer added equihash also not that long ago but it’s not optimized and never use it. I have started using dtsm’s miner though with better results than ewbf https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2021765.0

When you mine in stock, does it also crash?

It also crashes when I mine stock... Have no problems mining zcash with higher clocks... What could be the problem? Looks to me like its software problem.

Think you jinx'd me... my cards just started crashing at stock settings today but run other algo's just fine Sad

what coins you are mining and which pool?

For my 1080ti's...
Pools I use: suprnova, miningpoolhub, coinotron, theblocksfactory, flypool
Coins I have mined or am mining: xzc, vtc, ftc, pxc, zec, hush, mona, btcz, zen, zcl

I see a lot of people starting to mine zcoin. I have problem, I installed cuda 9 and newest nvidia driver on my rig with 6x1080ti asus rog strix and started mining zcoin with ccminer over miningpoolhub, but after some time it stops mining and says "the launch timed out and was terminaterd". I set clock to: power 60%, core clock +80, memory + 400. I tried with more power and some other settings, but keeps crashing. Do you know what could be the problem?

try with no OC and power @80% and report back later

Tried as you said, started mining at 2.800khs per card and crashed again after 15 minutes (again saying "the launch timed out and was terminaterd"). What could be the problem?

What miner are you using?  I am on - https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-msvc2015/releases/

Zcoin, I have been playing around with the intensity.  Curious what you think is best for the 1080ti?

Intensity depends on your card variant.
BTW me mining on default 16 intensity.
3200 KH/s per card.

What are your settings? Mine barely hit 3K. (FE edition 1080tis, default intensity, +160 core)

My FE does 3100 at 60% power, +90 core, +450 memory.  What miner are you using?

I think I am finding the default intensity is best also.  Getting 3200KH/s per card on all my aftermarket cards in my mining rig, in my gaming rig I have a FE card that is only getting 3000 though Sad

My Zcoin lyra2v2 profitability was $2/day for the last few days on miningpoolhub. It has increased now as the new miner gives 2900kh/s from 2400. Really good algo, only 130W per card.

Curious, what new miner are you using?  And what are your settings in afterburner?

Hey guys, does anyone mining MONA ?
Did you try to mine directly to bittrex wallet address?

What pool you use?  The few times I tried, which I didn't get anywhere near what I estimated I should, I did mine to an exchange wallet with no problems though.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 28, 2017, 10:38:07 PM
Mona has been one coin I have wanted to set some cards at but Suprnova pool seems to get hung a lot on blocks. Anyone know of a decent pool to use that has USA servers?

As for above, miningpoolhub seems like a hit or miss but not pinpointed if it is a bad server yet... any more concrete info on why to avoid?

Oh my, let's just fire up that .bat file without reading the readme.txt or a guide anywhere on the web first?

I bought some 1080 Tis which came with Destiny 2 codes but I don't play games so where can I sell them?

I am wondering if you can sell them, I gave my buddy one of my codes and he said it wouldn't activate because he only has a 1070 in his system.  You have to activate through Geforce Experience.  Maybe he is doing something wrong?

the code is tied to the GPU's serial and requires online activation. also, if you install multiple GPUs in a system, youll need to go into device manager and disable/enable all but one per activation. Its kinda BS.

on the upside, the games themselves are tied to your steam/blizzard accounts so you can then put them on another system

Cheers, I will just login with his geforce exp on my computer, deactivate the one 1080ti i used and redeem it for him Smiley

My 3rd/4th 1080ti will be coming tomorrow!  The last one for a while as I spent all the money I made on coins buying more cards.

I've wondered for the the algo's that people use the -mem, does it increase the hash rate or just to save power?

With DGB Skein what is a good diff to set for 1080ti?  The .128 that has been just recently posted?
