Hallo Zusammen,

Vielen, vielen lieben Dank nochmal an euch!!!

Poloniex has XMR in 'maintenance mode' so no withdrawals or deposits.  Is there an issue generally or is it just them?

Wondered is it's affecting price.

Fuck them, they dumped my coins at a low during a fud storm and sent the cash to a different state for me to chase which ive been to lazy to do.

Huh

Ahm, nope. The BTC ATH would be currently at 0,0088235  Wink

But Bitcoin is at x2.5 of its ATH so. 0,0088235 x 2.5= 0.022  and we are even,so the battle can start from there.

Yeah, you are right, in USD terms this applies  Cheesy

ATH is 0.03382BTC.

Correct  Wink
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: February 19, 2021, 05:00:21 AM
I have always assumed the dollar ATH was in the bag.

Against BTC it's harder to say - I think the FUD pushed it lower than it would be and we still aren't fully recovered. Yet.

The BTC ATH would be what .035 ?  Anywhere near that would be awesome.  I might even sell a few of the handful I still have left after the boating accident.

Ahm, nope. The BTC ATH would be currently at 0,0088235  Wink

I have an xmr wallet that was empty until I sent some xmr from an exchange to the wallet yesterday.  According to a block explorer, the transaction was mined in block 2299276:
https://localmonero.co/blocks/search/af79f699a7d5a69b59ce733c3ab3e8f99f37a2eac5e1edc1b579e848c41492ba
The xmr showed up on my cli wallet on my laptop.
Then I decided to install monerujo on my phone.  I chose the "restore" option and typed in the 25 word seed that I got from the "seed" command of the cli wallet on my laptop.
I restored the phone wallet from block 2299000.  I figured that would be good enough for the wallet to see the transaction in block 2299276.
The monerujo wallet on my phone now shows 0 xmr.
Why didn't monerujo see the transaction in block 2299276?  How far back do I have to go to restore the wallet?  Do I have to restore monerujo from block 0?

Note, I had earlier transactions in this wallet from as far back as block 1143800 or so.  A few weeks ago I sent all the xmr out of the wallet, so it had a balance of zero until yesterday.
I don't think the earlier transactions have any bearing on yesterday's transaction, but thought I should provide the information in the interest of completeness.

All I can think of is a seed issue when entering it. did you make sure the wallet addresses match?
Maybe try a different remote node?
sorry can't think of anything else.

I always start at block 0 to avoid issues like that. In theory it is doable, but practically i made the experience, that it is a good idea to start scanning from block 0 in order to have a clean wallet, besides that, scanning from block 0 on wifi is done over night  Wink

Loving this recovery, at 007 I think I will treat myself to a glass or two of Barolo.  Not that that's all I hope for of course, but after dipping to the mid-003s, it will feel a lot better.

I have a bottle of 2011 waiting for new USD ATH

hi guys,i had 0,18 moneros in my gui wallet,i wanted to send these in exodus wallet,so i made the transaction but the monero not show up in exodus and in my gui wallet, why? can you help me?

paste the tx-id in the xmr chain explorer and see if the balance is there --> https://xmrchain.net/
i have no txt id

Of course do you have one.
On the left side of your GUI wallet you have the table "Transactions" --> klick on it, then it will open and show all your transactions with the corresponding tx-id

What ever happened to the Monero Hardware project wallet?

I've never had an issue other than the andriod remote nodes not responding, all transactions have always been quick and super cheap.

Paying pennies to move thousands privately and securely is the best feeling in the world.

Also wondering what happened to that...

Hey guys,

i have a question and i didn´t find the answer on the inet.

- Create a wallet on the PC named julia
- Purchase a Trezor Model T
- Restore the wallet Julia on Trezot Model T
- I have two Julia wallets (one on the PC and the same wallet on the Trezor)

If i wanted to restore a wallet on a Trezor device which was initially created on the PC, is that possible?

No, because your Trezor uses a different seed. You need to transfer the XMR from the 'PC wallet' to the 'Trezor wallet'.

Okidoki, i thought of something like that...

For some reason using my GUI wallet with all the blockchain synchronised to it
when I go to mine I get an error message, I click on both options for threads and wonder why this is happening
also What is the easiest way to mine Monero and support the network?

Wich error message do you get?
The easiest way is to setup a node that is mining --> https://www.getmonero.org/get-started/mining/

Downloaded the wallet on a new iMac weeks ago, seems like it takes forever to sync
why this is happening is it going to synchronise ever??

Many thanks!

Which wallet are you using, CLI or GUI?

 CLI

can you post the output of the command
Code:
status
of your CLI wallet

Should look something like this
Code:
Refreshed 2296529/2296529, synced, daemon RPC v3.5, SSL

dont have access to the computer that i have the CLI wallet right now, i will send to you the command as soon as i get to that pc (600km from where i am at the moment)

Also i have installed the GUI on another mac at my office and i am facing a different problem i try to do solo mining and i get the message "Error Start Mining" "couldn't start mining" any ideas why this is happening??

Many thanks

Ok, post the output when you get to the command line

also i tried to send some about 6.some XMR from kraken to the GUI wallet (this one not synced yet) and even though transaction seems completed from kraken with transaction id and everything amount is not yet at the wallet,, this is because is not synced or some other reason??

Probably, but you can a post a picture of the bottom left of your GUI wallet, where the status is stated (blocks remaining - synced status)

sone more questions, why monero is not supported by ledger live software in their hardware wallet,
and is there atomic swap implementation between BTC and XMR??

I do not know if there is Ledger support for XMR. Trezor does support it.

Concerning atomic swaps, read in down below

https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/gqf6xl/atomic_swaps/

https://www.reddit.com/r/Monero/comments/kpclyb/monero_btc_atomic_swap/

For the GUI wallet mining issue bottom left status is synced,

will check links for the swaps

Many thanks!

You are welcome  Cheesy

It seems to me, that the base for this is XMR Monero  Grin Grin Grin

Just checked it, the whole environment is based on monero V7  Wink (installed a node a created a wallet)
The idea per sé is good, but the staking of a node with 15000 OXEN to get registered as a node an earn approx 22,5% of your stake per year is...

BUT --> good to see that the whole environment is getting some drive on it  Grin Grin Grin
