41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should i give up or should i just keep chasing pavements? on: April 30, 2018, 05:29:00 AM
I have to decide if to continue on holding or should i sell my crypto?

I'd say follow your instincts. You said so yourself that you'll have income if you sell right now so I guess it will just be a matter of how you wanna play it. Are you good with your profit if you sell? If yes, then go. Sometimes it's greed that will ruin everything for us. Just go with what will make you happy.

I have to decide if to continue on holding or should i sell my crypto? What is your idea about the crypto market price movement? What do you think will happen to the current market price now? Should it will be gone higher or will fall down?

Not much movement for market I guess. I think it'll be a smooth sailing for the moment and then come next quarter we'll be in on major surprises. Will it be good or bad, that I am not sure as of yet.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥★🔥★[ANN][BEZOP] (PROOF OF ORDER PROTOCOL) Decentralized Ecommerce Coin 🔥★🔥★ on: March 19, 2018, 04:15:16 PM
Looks like Bezop is still holding steady after their ICO ended in January. This project looks promising & I think they're going to help a lot of entrepreneurs to grow their business online.

Yeah, too bad they are assholes, who don't want to pay people, who promoted them and helped to reach success.

I only have been following this from the sidelines but did they actually clearly say that they won't distribute the bounty tokens?

Check out their fb page. They said that they sent payments to some bounty participants and that distribution is now over so there's no chance that some of us will receive any. Maybe they did send tokens to some for future circumstances which is being accused of not paying since they did (to maybe less than 1% of the participants). After raising millions. Funny.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥★🔥★[ANN][BEZOP] (PROOF OF ORDER PROTOCOL) Decentralized Ecommerce Coin 🔥★🔥★ on: March 19, 2018, 04:05:39 PM
But is there any evidence that some of the users are receiving their tokens? Can it be seen on the blockchain? Maybe they only say they received their portion but actually didn't.

You can check addresses of those people who say they received something, spreadsheet is open. Some people received a few tokens, it is true.

Who knows maybe it's even their own accounts which received tokens while others get nothing.

Actually, I know someone who participated in the bounty and got payment from them. The interesting part is that he told me he didn't even send email of his proof of work while we, on the other side didn't received a single token. I wonder how this team can deliver what they promised their investors if they can't even show a simple appreciation towards our works.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: panic or to be calm on: March 15, 2018, 04:39:47 PM
the more days the bitcoin price slumps down, how do you think, whether the price will stabilize or it will keep falling down ,, seems like I'm getting scared Angry

No point in panicking at this time as it is too early. We are yet to enter the 2nd quarter of the year where the good news are about to unravel (if history will repeat itself) just like last year. Well actually it was really the start of 4th quarter where we can really feel the joy ride so I'm not worried at all. I even forgot (intentionally) that I have btc and few alts in my wallet, you know Grin It won't do you any good if you always check the graph you might end up depressed or worse. It's actually the time to go on a spree and buy yourself some btc.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best Social Media for promoting an ICO ? on: March 06, 2018, 04:08:46 AM
I think facebook would have been the best since the amount of information that you could easily share is better than the other one, but since thay have stopped advertising icos, twitter just replaced facebook's spot, since people can easily see what icos are trending and how are they doing.

No doubt facebook is really the place to go to in promoting anything. Though ico ads are banned you can still promote ico in facebook via twitter. Just link your facebook account to your twitter and everything you tweeted will be posted in your facebook timeline as well. On a side note, I can still see ico promotions in facebook so I don't know how they regulate their stand on banning ico ads in their platform.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [Bounty] Bezop.io - Ecommerce Token #2096 ETH# [FINISHED] on: March 03, 2018, 01:06:16 PM
I wasted a lot of time on promoting this project. The bounty program is a total scam, I submitted my prof of work and received this response.

"The bounty program was meant to last for a period of 30 days, from 24 December to the 24 of January. however we sold out on the 9th of January and closed the bounty program..this means that week 3 and 4 did not hold
also the individual cap per user is 2000 token (four weeks being completed) this apply to legendary and hero members
since only two weeks was conducted the maximum cap is cut by half which is 1000, when you contrast this with claims on the spread sheet you can see users which do not have hero or legendary status earning over 6000 (3ETH) which is extremely fraudulent
what you should know is that bezop  or any member of  the team did not personally conduct or oversee the program, we contracted a bitcoin talk member whom we paid over $6000
however the quality of work in the report is totally unacceptable coupled with the fact above of users being allocated over 5 to 6 times above the maximum cap"
It's bad news, irresponsible bounty managers, the Bezosp team cheat the bounty participants and hopefully the team can answer that question, otherwise I believe the price of the tokens will have an impact.

So, what the dev team is trying to tell us is that there are zero chances that we are gonna get our payments?

Quote

I don't see why we should be affected by this scenario since it's the team's fault they hired such incompetent bounty manager. And for the record, they are not the only ones who did not personally oversee their bounty programs that's why there are what we call "bounty managers. "It's not fair since we did our part and abide with all the rules stated. It was stated that the bounty will run until January 23 and then we were informed that the campaign was finished on January 15th. Undecided
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung is going to support bitcoin on: February 18, 2018, 05:13:17 PM
Today I heard that Samsung is going to make bitcoin mining hardware especially Antminer S9 which I heard that they will name it as 'Samsung S9', with this act by Samsung everyone can understand that Samsung is in the favor of bitcoin and they will strongly support bitcoin. Almost all of the Samsung users will then know about this device and so more and more people will then know about bitcoin and the demand and the users of bitcoin will be increased too much.

I hate to say this but I don't see how Samsung's producing mining hardware can contribute to people's awareness and btc demand. I think this is purely business and doesn't mean a strong support from them. It's simply putting in store the product that they think will be in demand by the consumers. Unless otherwise stated by the company itself. And besides, most of their clients are after their mobile phones.
48  Economy / Economics / Re: Do we need regulations? on: February 18, 2018, 09:10:16 AM
How do you guys think? Do we need regulations in the crypto world? Should only ICO be regulated or legit coins (not "security tokens") too? Can we implement regulations mechanisms in code so that corrupted governmental institutions couldn't manipulate the industry? Can we still have free market with governments' regulations across the world?

Please, share your thoughts. I'm a bit confused about what's happening right now.

At some point, yes we need regulations for cryptocurrency. We've seen enough of those people abusing the use of it and it's imperative that regulations be formed. I don't know how and who shall implement this but the process will surely be quite a mess imo.

Free market? Say hello to the government and bid your market freedom goodbye. With all the money that cryptocurrency brought about, do you think government will not try to turn the wheels? There might be some differences on how a government in different countries will implement their crypto regulations but they have one common denominator: TAXES.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will ultimately lose its attractiveness? on: February 13, 2018, 03:08:33 PM
It will. For those who just joined the bandwagon blindly. They will eventually lose interest to btc and the whole cryptocurrency because they thought they was fooled. They expected btc to save them from poverty and give them financial freedom faster than other means. But not a chance for the ones who know how things work and understands that it's not an easy money.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO Red Flags on: February 12, 2018, 04:55:45 PM
Right now there are so many ICO that it is hard to figure out all details about what is happening out there and sometimes we miss important red flags about projects that due to lack of time or experience we are not able to identify on time.
That is why we had created a tool to keep track of all red flags and vote for them so everybody can take part in project research share or vote for pieces of information that others found.

Full list of ICO red flags

There are not many yet. Do not judge too hard because right now there is only a small group working on that. Feel free to join and share your information in Red Flag section.

If you have propositions about Red Flag section right here a comment and we will surely add new stuff to make community research more convinient.

For projects:
What should you do if you got a red flags?

For investors:
ICO Red Flags explained for investors

Excellent work! I commend you and other people that is working alongside you (if there's any) to help people especially investors to spot red flags in an ico. I've known people who are new to crypto who decided to participate in ico and unfortunately some of it turned out to be scams. Thank you for the time and dedication you've put into this project of yours and I think you deserve one of my "not so many" sMerit for such contribution in this forum. Smiley
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why there are certain exchanger have been hijack/hack? on: February 12, 2018, 04:32:07 PM
Is there any solid reason why? Is it because they want to make other people not to buy cryptocurrency? I am curious.

Asking this kind of question I'm guessing you have zero or minimal knowledge about how technology works. For the record, for years I firmly believe that there's no system that cannot be hacked. Currently, exchanges are the main target of hackers since they are holding a lot of money and they are considered as the crypto "banks". Some may think that it can also be an inside job where someone from the team will be the one who did the hacking. And there's no way their main purpose is to diacourage people from buying cryptos. It's all for the money, pal.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 11, 2018, 06:14:08 AM
It is sad but Bitcoin best years are over  Undecided Mainly because bitcoin became so congested and stopped developing itself while other currencies progressed.  It doesn't help also that only big miners can mine BTC and not average GPU/CPU users. This is not what Sathoshi wanted. Mining should be available for everyone.

And seeing as the blockchain's congestion and mining privilege, more alts are coming out to solve these problems. Take for example the ETN, their main target is mass adoption and introducing cryptocurrency in a simplest way. And many more alts will definitely come in the near future.

But now we have hard fork called Bitcoin Cash which is 8 times faster and much cheaper, which resembles Satoshi idea more closely. And many other altcoins to choose from.

I must say that some people say that they are considering BCH as the real BTC as its characteristics are based on Satoshi's whitepaper. And today, btc is being considered as the real btc only because it has the majority of the hashpower. Thus no matter what its name, bch is also considered as btc.
53  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Spread some Merit. on: February 10, 2018, 11:13:37 AM

Rules:

"Post only on your designated board"

54  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Spread some Merit. on: February 10, 2018, 10:37:05 AM

I have some sMerit that I can use, pwede niyong ilink mga post niyo dito na Pwedeng imerit. Since hindi ganun kadami ang sMerit ko, I think some Pinoys can help me to merit those posts na "Merit-able". Sa tingin ko, I can pick one post per day. 2 merits pinakamataas kong ibibigay since as I said, hindi naman ganun kataas ang sMerit ko. Also if you have some suggestions, PM na lang po ako. Thanks.

55  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin bull run begins now? on: February 08, 2018, 04:06:34 AM
Will this prediction by some Crypto Experts that 2018 is a Bull year for Bitcoin To $50k, and with an   Overall Market Cap To $1 Trln going to end a truth?

Read the text here: https://goo.gl/WzcTrV

We can't say for sure but this year could really be a good year not just for bitcoin but for cryptocurrency as a whole. And since they are "crypto experts" their words can have weigh on this attempt at pushing the bull run by influencing people who are following their every words. We know for a fact that during the last quarter of 2017 a lot of people jumped on board in hopes of huge profit without fully understanding what they put themselves into. That being said, during these dips many of them have lost faith and interest in btc. This kind of news fron "experts" can lift their hopes up and maybe make them realize the importance of btc.
56  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin lower than $6000? Is it possible? on: February 06, 2018, 04:53:39 AM
Is it possible that Bitcoin falls lower than $6000!
Which is the level of 31 Oct 2017!

Volatility is one of bitcoin's characteristics. It may go as low as it was way back in 2009 for all we know so there's a huge possibility for it to fall lower than $6K. It's all in our hands especially in the whales' hands to make that happen because we are well aware that they can easily manipulate the price. And for us here who have experienced the roller coaster ride last year, there's not much of a fear but rather most of  us are wishing the price to go as lower as it can get so we could have a chance to buy and hold until the last quarter of this year.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if bitcoin wasn't created? on: February 06, 2018, 04:30:03 AM
What if bitcoin wasn't created?
I was just wondering what would happen to the crypto world or would still cryptocurrency be this popular this day if bitcoin wasn't created?

There are a lot of changes happened because of bitcoin and it also change the way on how we look on cryptocurrencies. Because of this some government and bank owners were alarm because of the rising popularity of bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies. Cryptocurrencies also help many people giving them works online and gets profit from invesments.

But what if Bitcoin wasn't created, where would you be right now?
What would happen to crpyto world?
Will the cryptocurrencies be as known as it is right now?

Since our world is bound to the technology era, I think a cryptocurrency will still be created either on the same concept and purpose of btc or not. It could be ethereum or other alts but a cryptocurrency will definitely be created. Thus, there's not much of a difference.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One currency One world? on: February 05, 2018, 04:54:31 AM
Do you guys billieve that bitcoin will become the only one currency that can use as a mode of payment in the whole world? How is this become posible in the future?

No, I don't think so. We have different governments (and laws) running each of our countries and there is no way they're gonna let a single currency to be used as mode of payment, much less a decentralized one which they cannot control. They can regulate it but I don't see it becoming a universal currency to replace all of fiat currencies around the world. The government will rather make their own cryptocurrency if that will be the case.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 04, 2018, 08:41:41 AM
Many of us may have read that 2018 will be game over for bitcoin.Every now and then have seen that every Tom, Dick & Harry Coin claims that their blockchain technology is better than bitcoin and they will solve the real issue with bitcoin network but in reality no one is even close to that.

Is there a alternate to bitcoin to replace it?

Can this crypto economy survive without bitcoin?

I think the crypto economy have the potential to survive without bitcoin. That is, if more countries will have option to buy other alts such as eth directly using fiat. As of the moment there are countries who are still new in btc and they are still catching up. With so much people who want to invest in various ICOs in hopes of getting huge profits after the pre-sale,  the only they can invest is by buying btc and/or eth so the possibility of us going on without btc is still not feasible in the near future but I think that time will still come and the only question is when.
60  Economy / Speculation / Re: more FUD same result bitcoin in the red on: February 01, 2018, 07:12:38 PM
FUDs will stay as long as Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies exist. This is how people/group of people attacks Bitcoin. They flip facts and exaggerate news in order to trigger panics and alike. Maybe they want Bitcoin to bite the dust for good because they see Bitcoin as a threat or they just want Bitcoin's price to decline as much as possible in order for them to buy some more at a very low price. Regardless of their motives, they want Bitcoin's price to go down. Thus, these FUDs.
