Should i give up or should i just keep chasing pavements?

As we all know that bitcoin has done some increase in the crypto market and i am glad of course that it happen. If i am going to sell my crypto now then probably i will get profit because i bought it when the market price is low. However, seeing the current market price looks like stabilize and i guess ti will turn back down any moment from now. So my speculation will relatively about selling it now or wait for until it will go higher. I have to decide if to continue on holding or should i sell my crypto? What is your idea about the crypto market price movement? What do you think will happen to the current market price now? Should it will be gone higher or will fall down?

No worries. Bitcoin, we know, attracts the attention of developed countries. Now just waiting for their local government to be legal. Some have accepted the presence of bitcoin and inaugurated it. Just hold it for now because it will relatively go higher somehow. Just be patient if there are dump with the current market price the let it happen anyway what important is the bottomline and that is when you will get a huge profit at the day where bitcoin market price will go relatively high. Just wait for that moment and be patient enough on your investment. This is how cryptocurrency works and you must get along with it and for sure in the near future you will get what you want or expect you to have. And another thing you if there are market price dump just dont get panic and take away your fears of losing your money in the end because it wont happen.

Well it's your money no matter what advice i give it's you who gets to decide in the end whether to sell it or not. But what i can do is share some information about what could happen this year. Almost every year when you look at the price charts the price always crashes in the 1st quarter and plummets in the 2nd, you could wait for this year's bullish trend.

If you're in profit and can't afford to lose such amount of money then go sell it because no one knows the future prices of Bitcoin. You can also sell your initial investment so you won't lose much and leave your profits in Bitcoin if you still want to hold on to something. My speculation about the price is that it should go up even more and slowly reach $10k I don't know when but we're at the striking distance since the price went up to $9700 this month.

I find 2 main matters in your thread.
1. You are now in the middle of nowhere. It means that you really don't know whether to buy or sell or hold. I think that you'd better visit Speculation boards in this forum for better information and decision
2. If you don't mind, feel free to show me your portfolio (thus i can give some advice for your reference if possible). Because i think that the market is now quite stable and therefore it deeply depend on which coins you are holding. My experience points out that good portfolio is better than luck in many circumstances

OP, find a job, get an extra shift or do freelance for extra cash and use that to "buy the dip". One of my biggest regrets was not able to learn how to code. If I did I would try to find some freelance jobs for extra money and keep everything in Bitcoin.

Plus I believe the next global financial crisis is near, and it would be Bitcoin's greatest test as how Satoshi might have planned it. It is a good time to keep earning and keep saving everything in Bitcoin.

@franky1 has summarized it nicely. Just sell half of your stash then just kept the remaining half as hedge if another breakout occurs. As for the price movement, no one can exactly says where the price is going to be, but experience says that bitcoin price can still increase in the next coming months. I mean I'm just wondering why you asking this sort of question right now when bitcoin price is going on a uptrend? You should cast your doubt during the slump, but we since recovered a bit and might hit $10000 I suggest you better stay a little bit longer and see how it goes.

Not much movement for market I guess. I think it'll be a smooth sailing for the moment and then come next quarter we'll be in on major surprises. Will it be good or bad, that I am not sure as of yet.

You will never get biased advice from a forum full of Bitcoin supporters, because they want people to hoard their bitcoins, to push up the price. I can only speak for myself in saying that my hoarding of bitcoins paid off, because I bought at $400 and I sold at $18 000. This does not happen in a few weeks or months. < I had to wait for a few years >

Will this happen again? We honestly do not know, but all indications are that it might happen again and I want to be ready for that.

Short term it can go down, but long term it has to go up. It can be really big or it will not exist. Price of bitcoin wont be 9000 or 6000 in the end. It will be 0 or really big. It is my opinion

If I know for sure the bitcoin price will go up or it will decrease in the future or in near future, unfortunately, I will not tell you. I prefer to be rich myself than to see others rich because of me. In the investment, you should be selfish never to give a depiction of the future about the price of bitcoin or altcoin, just keep your self.

I suggest if you are confused to choose or sell the investment you have, try for long-term investment. Wait for your investment until December, there will be many changes. Price movement is now still relatively stable there is nothing to worry about.

There are two situation that will happen here, first is if you will still hold your bitcoin and continue then there's a tendency that the value will gets higher in some point this year. But another is if you want to sell your bitcoin then you can get your profit now so that means you cannot get a low value anymore and you will get what you expected. And if that two situation I can say that it is still a win-win situation for you.
