41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hope for hodlers on: November 24, 2018, 12:06:43 AM
Yes.There's still hope for hodlers. Crypto experienced this type of downfall before and it is actually a good opportunity for big investors to invest. They are waiting for this moment and I believe some of them already purchased coins. We need to make sure that we bought some coins as well so that when the pump comes, we can just sell our coin. Its a good strategy to get a quick buck.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto trading consider as a good profession? on: November 23, 2018, 10:23:35 PM
Base on how the market goes as well as the current situation bounties, I would not recommend crypto as a profession. I am both an investor and a bounty hunter and my earnings were too low to even consider a profession. I think it is more productive to have a regular job (like what I am doing) and do crypto whenever you have a free time. The salaries earn will make up for the daily needs and your capital will not be as needed. You will not be pressured to trade.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best competitors to Ethereum? on: November 23, 2018, 10:17:07 PM
Aside from bitcoin, Ripple will be the best competitor for Ethereum. It actually dethrone Ethereum at the number #2 spot. It is arguably the best alternate coin as of the moment and they still have a lot to offer. Product improvement are one of the best trait of XRP because they always aim to provide better service. This results to increase on demand and popularity of the coin. I think it will stay at the #2 for a long time.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why everyone becoming the holder? on: November 23, 2018, 08:09:38 PM
Not everyone wants to become a hodler but they are forced to do it because of the low price. The bear market is becoming normal now and it can be alarming because of the fact that the market is not showing any growth. Top tier coins are losing its value as well. I was hoping that this is just a market correction and there will be a pump soon. Others will be impatient if it recovery takes too long.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hope for hodlers on: November 21, 2018, 10:35:18 PM
I hope that the bull run will happen. The price decrease can be a way to entice big investors on bitcoin. There is no way they were gonna miss this because they are on the wait and see strategy and they are hungry. This is the time they are waiting for. However, I will not expect bull run this year since we only have few days left. 2019 might be a good start for everyone and bull run will be the best thing that could happen.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple buy or not? on: November 21, 2018, 10:22:50 PM
Its not a question of if its good for buy or not, its a matter of when you will buy. For me, Ripple is one of the most money generating coin for 2018. It pumped a twice (if I'm not mistaken) this year and I was able to be part of it. It definitely increased my asset and so as everyone who were heavily invested on it. A lot of people has a lot of negative comments but it doesn't have an effect on XRP's perfomance this year.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in a new ICO. on: November 21, 2018, 09:53:28 PM
For me the first criteria you need to check is the platform. ERC-20 coins are the most common but a lot of them are failing as of the moment. WAVES doesn't sound enticing at all because there are only few traders. I haven't tried other platforms but from what I noticed, EOS shows a lot of positive feedback (it still depend on the project). You can also check the whitepaper if their goal is realistic. Beware of scam ICO's and make sure you have done every research before investing.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you end up with shit coins? on: November 21, 2018, 08:40:17 PM
I checked my wallet when I read this post and I was surprised on how many shitcoins I have. Majority of them came from airdrops. That is why I stopped joining them and if I haven't stop, I would have twice the amount of what I have now. I also consider my two of my coin as a shitcoin since there is no buy orders on the exchange. I guess I worked for the bounty and wasted my time.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: November 20, 2018, 10:46:32 PM
Hi Everyone,

As advised I am trying to learn the basics of crypto first.

Most of the suggestions mention investing in top ranked coins. My question is, does it always work? As far as I understand, the market is vulnerable and affects almost all the coins from top to bottom. How then you determine which ones would stay ?

Just like any other form of investment, there is no guaranteed success on crypto as well. Investing on top rank coins will only increase your chances of winning especially if you do it for long term. Any alternate coin are for long term hodl as of the moment, the market is at a time were everything keeps on dropping so its better to buy for now and if you don't have any plans on hodling, you might as well stay put and wait for it to be on upward movement.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: ADVICE TO EVERYONE HOLDING BTC on: November 20, 2018, 09:23:06 PM
Firstly, i am not a financial Advisor but please do take this tip seriously. BTC has gone all the way down from $6k to $4529 this morning. People are in great loss. so to avoid further losses. sell now.. i believe some people will listen to me

Yes. The loss is inevitable and everyone is about to decide if they will sell or not. I experienced the same thing and decided to hodl my bitcoin than selling it. I know that bitcoin can still recover especially at this time of the year. Bitcoin's demand is expected to go up every end of the year and hopefully the same thing will happen again this year. Please be advised that the previous performance of bitcoin does not have any effect on today's performance.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about blockchain games? on: November 20, 2018, 09:00:00 PM
The first thing that goes on my when I heard about blockchain games will be gambling. It was a money generating business before but base on my own experience, gaming blockchains are failing as well. I joined 3 bounties for gaming blockchain this year and none of them was a success. Only one were able to be listed but the coin value and the demand was too low so I will still consider it as a failure especially on the investors side.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it to put everything in one cryptocurrency? on: November 19, 2018, 02:55:34 PM
It depends on where you will distribute it. If its a top 10-20 coins, I don't see any problems with that. However, if its a newly established coin or low ranking coin, I think it will be best to reconsider your decision on where you will allocate your asset. If you were a trader, it is highly recommended to hodl multiple coins especially if you have a big capital. For those who were just starting to trade with small capital, you can have a coin or to as long as you will hodl it for a long time.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Falling Down? Is it The end ? on: November 19, 2018, 02:45:28 PM
I think you need to wait for years before it pump back up again. In my opinion, crypto will never be the same as before until the issue on scam ICO's were fixed. It is really affecting the reputation of crypto and it's ruining the price of the market. A lot of investors are giving up because of the long drought and everytime the market goes up, it drops again because everyone is just aiming to sell their coin and move on to other forms of investment.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long ICO's project pay for bounty hunters on: November 19, 2018, 02:29:50 PM
In my experience, the whole ICO process will take 3-4 months. The moment they start the sale of coin, majority of ICO's will start their bounty as well. About your comment, I haven't heard of a coin that will have an ICO for that long. 2 years is such a long time and what is hard to accept is that there are bounties that will not allow you to leave. If you left, you will not receive your bounty reward. This rule should not be applied on bounties.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: More and more Scam projects on: November 16, 2018, 08:17:09 PM
Yes. This year is definitely bad for ICO's. In fact, it is the worst year for ICO's. The number of SCAM ICO's are getting higher and the hardest thing to accept is that there are more scam ICO's than successful ones. If the numbers are right, 78% of ICO's are scam and only 22% were legit. No one will trust on crypto if this continues and even old investors are hesitating to invest on ICO's.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think if Facebook releases its coin? on: November 16, 2018, 08:06:49 PM
It will be great if they release their coin. My only wish is that they will have an ICO and would like to offer jobs for bounty hunters to promote their coin. Even though it is not needed because of the fact that facebook is the most famous website in the world. They won't have any issue promoting their coin since the hype is already there even though the product is not released yet.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Never regret anything on: November 15, 2018, 02:17:21 PM
I agree. Looking back will just make you will worst especially if the coin you have sold has gone up. What I am doing is to completely remove that coin to my mind and never check its price. I will avoid anything about that coin since there is nothing left to do if you already sold your coin. I always move forward and find the best coin to hodl and when it comes to bounty rewards, I usually sold it early so that I will have more capital for trading.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a fake coin? on: November 14, 2018, 05:07:58 PM
For me a fake coin is something that is already listed but no one is buying it. A lot of investors wasted money on that coin and even if it exist, the demand for it was closed to zero. That is what a fake coin does and it can easily deceive people as it is listed on a established exchange. It will take months before it will be delisted so its giving them enough time to scam people. Beware of those coin and do your own research. Don't be a victim.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC is simply just to cheat bounty hunters. on: November 14, 2018, 04:17:06 PM
Although KYC filters out those multiple accounts in bounties, I never agreed with KYC because of the fact the it prolongs the process. I am also hesitant to provide my identification and personal details because it can be used for identity theft. It is a big headache if that happens. What I am doing is to know how much I will get and if its worth the risk, I will provide my info for KYC.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I joined at the wrong time? on: November 14, 2018, 03:46:16 PM
To be honest, I have joined crypto last September 2017 and I felt that I was late. So to answer your question, YES. I think you are late. However, if you persevere and do your very best to learn, you can still keep up but you will not earn as much as those who started early. Also, I just want to mention that even old timers are having a difficulty earning at the current market. Maybe next year could be a fresh start for us.
