41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: UNIFY [UNIFY] - THE NEXT GENERATION OF CROWDFUNDING [POS, LOW SUPPLY] on: May 06, 2018, 11:34:35 AM
I think this whole dump must have been done by someone who have mined out a lot in the beginning. I see no other reason for selling it that cheap. I am still working on Unify Marketplace now. I need some time for it to become functioning, but it should appear. Just not sure when. Will give a date once things will be a bit more clearer.

This means that this is the official announcement that Unify Marketplace development has begun.

There are no official dates of release now but we will keep you updated on progress from time to time.

Update:

1. I have found a way to install a UnifyPay wallet into Apple products. I will write and share a quick step-by-step guide on how to do it in couple days. It won't be as easy as downloading it from Appstore, but it won't require scientific degree neither. Smiley Tested the method and it worked absolutely fine.
2. I have submitted Unify to CoinPayments.net. It seems like they stopped asking 50K USD for a coin hosting on their servers and it only cost me 25 USD so they would review if they can add it there. It's a 50/50. If we get added there - then it would greatly help us with the development of marketplace & crowdfunding platforms since most of the work that needs to be done is payment system implementation and that would cost the most. If we get listed at CoinPayments.net - this would help us significantly.
3. I made a little bit of simple free advertising on social media. I'm not disclosing the site, but it already got us over 200 views in about an hour. I will continue on doing this, so maybe there will be some more interest back into the project without spending huge sums of money into ads.

Stay tuned. Smiley

A little bit of free advertising. How is that supposed to be comparable to the Top 600 Coins? I think a bit more effort than a little bit of free is required to not head to 0 cents here

We're not heading to 0 cents. And plus we have to prioritize funds on development. For now, we are looking forward to releasing the iOS wallet app & easy instructions on how to install, to everyone, in the next couple days hopefully.

Debatable. Unify is worth less than it was last July. Not to speak of any point since last October.

Actually, the truth is that Unify is worth 2x as more now as it was for the majority of July 2017, except from 14th -22nd where it went up to $0.08 then went back down to around $0.02 and remaind at those levels until around the end of August. You can check the charts on coinmarketcap.

Rememeber that coins under early stages of development, like this one, will experience sharp rises and falls in price from time to time until the finished product is completed because of hype. That is nature and the way it is. Once product is finished, price rises for final time, stabilizes, and price becomes governed more by market conditions instead of progress in development & hype.

Our goal is to get this done and have a real working product. Never forget that.

That is why everyone needs to upgrade after the fork, and also mining pools will for sure update their source as well.
So i do not really realize what you are meaning with that reply, many coins have done Hardfork in a past and they would have probably died without a one.
For this coin to grow, the problem with difficulty needs to be fixed and hardfork is the only way to do this.

Mining pools? This coin is not POW, it's POS. This coin is not mined but you have to stake this coin. We switched to POS in August 2017.

If anyone is mining Unify at mining pools they are wasting their time and money. We've been saying this over and over again.

But then I later understood I could very easily restore my wallets from seed. And that was an even better option, you never worry if the site you use will close down and run with your money.

Yeah. Well at least you don't have to worry about that from us. We'll always be here.👍

I have a question what targets this project is trying to achieve for this year?

Targets we're trying to achieve for this year are highlighted on our roadmap. We would like to have the Marketplace up and running by later this year and the Crowdfunding platform running by early 2019.

We have received a report from a person saying they were scammed and have mistakenly sent BTC to imposters impersonating us.

Please, please, please remember that our official account
on Twitter is @unifycrypto. Please pay close attention to the spelling. Thank you.

Hi Guys,

i switchted to my windows laptop and installed the Unify wallet where i copied the wallet data back-up. But the Wallet is still "not synchronised" i don't know what to do to make it work.

hope you guys can help me.

Cheers,
Bao

Hello, you would probably have to add some extra nodes. The instructions are found in our "Help & Documentation" at the link below.

http://test.unify.today/Unify_Documentation.pdf

Also, check and make sure the clock on your computer is set at the correct time so that the wallets can work properly.

I did add the nodes via the link you shared but it gave an error. By setting the clock right which time do you mean?

You have to type the nodes in correctly. You have to do it in this format:

Type "addnode" first, then press space, then the node number, push space again, then type "add", then push enter and it should work.

Add these nodes and try again. Also, you have to add them one node at a time and all letters are lower case.

addnode 88.152.91.251 add

addnode 37.59.115.219 add

addnode 80.209.224.232 add

addnode 185.165.58.96 add

addnode 51.174.223.105 add

addnode 98.166.84.64 add

addnode 46.101.96.164 add

Also the clock should be set at "your" local time.

Hows listing on new exchanges going? There are quite a few new ones out there? Have you applied? Smiley

Yes. We're on Blockbid and waiting for Phase II of their beta as well as their public release. It appears they're going to become one of the big exchanges.

Bitexlive, a new exchange, took the initiative to add us and they seem to gradually growing in popularity.

We're also waiting for Nova to finally open. They're a little late but we think they'll open again soon. They just changed their logo.

After all is said and done, we may end up having around 7 or 8 exchanges by May or June hopefully, depending on when they open, but we're always looking for more in the meantime and are open to suggestions from everybody. Smiley

Also, just a reminder but if anyone sees any account impersonating us on social media saying they're giving away free ETH, please ignore because they're imposters. Be smart and don't get duped, and again, if it sounds to good to be true....it probably is.👍

Do you have an affiliate program? Smiley

We're sorry but we don't have an affiliate program at this time. But we will have a rewards system that will be part of our Crowdfunding platform in the future.

However, for the time being, you can take advantage of the staking feature of our Unify desktop wallets and receive rewards that way right now. ROI for staking is an average of 5% to 10% of your wallet balance per year.

For those who might have syncing problems on the windows wallet, for your future reference, make sure that the clocks on your computers have adjusted to the right time. Your computer clocks have to be at the right time in order for the desktop wallets to work properly.

For me, my syncing issues started after daylight savings time. I corrected the time on my clock and now it works fine for me.

Guys, in order to avoid being scammed by accounts impersonating us, always remember that our official Twitter handle is @unifycrypto. Be vigilant & pay close attention to the spelling.

And remember, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
