Hey Sampey and all CAT users!

At first i like to say, that this is my favourite program for now more than a year!  Grin
Nothing better than CAT!

I really like to see one function in CAT in the future:

Something like: "take gain in BTC"

If i sell anything, lets say 1000 Shitcoin and set 10% gain for example!
The Ping happened, Shitcoins sold
Then the next step is Pong: CAT wanna try to buy in these 1000 Shitcoin + 10%.... so anything around 1099 (exclusive fee)

In this place comes the option: Gain in BTC!

Would be fine, if the 10% profit will stay in BTC, so CAT only want to buy 1000 Shitcoins for Pong!

I hope u understand my example...

Maybe there is a possibility to do exactly this, and i haven't seen it?

Thanks in advance!

and dont come with the excuse, that the time is not right if you leave ur browser 10 hours without refreshing....

it worked not properly, also if you refreshed it 1 minute before the ponzi starts!!!

OP, if you like longterm gains, then send back these "too early" funds to the people and admit that the rules were not clearly formulated!
Next time: give us all a fresh created address or say explicit, that ur Homepage does not count, only thing is counting is the time on blockchain.info

Please refer to my previous post.

Exactly right on the sob stories. Like I said in my last post, there are many ways to check GMT time besides the timer, although I have always found the timer to be correct except when left un-refreshed for inordinate periods of time.

The problem is that people just didn't know that the site timer can be inaccurate if not regularly refreshed. The fact that the timer drifts over time wasn't discussed in public until AFTER the game had already started. They (some of them, at least) tried to follow the rules by waiting for that timer to hit zero and ended up getting burned by the fact that it had drifted.

I managed to get my bets placed in time but I knew about the drifting from observing the timer discrepancy on the first day; it had been 10 to 15 seconds off for me. This time, I just watched the blockchain timestamps.

Well considering that only a tiny number of deposits were made before 0:00 GMT and that as soon as 0:00:00 GMT ticked over, there were around 100 deposits in 30 seconds makes me think that those who deposited before 0:00 GMT were simply trying to get the advantage by depositing slightly before the time ticked over, knowing that it was not technically the start of the round yet.

I would believe them if those 100 transactions came through before 0:00:00, but you can't deny statistics. As soon, and I mean literally as soon, as the time hit 0:00:00 GMT the deposits went crazy.

Take that information how you wish. I know what I think.

That's a real bad argumentation, fact is everybody who sent greater amounts was aware that too early deposit get to donation.... why should i risk it?!?! risk 1.5 btc for nothing!
Maybe u have to think, that the problem was on your page!

U cant keep it as donation, it was the 3rd run of your ponzis and any mistake which was made, has to be solved!! But not on the cost of the people here!!

Do you really think, what u are trying to do is in any case fair?!

As i wrote u in pm, keep 10% for yourself but not the whole amount! Ur rules were not explicit and where should anybody rely on, when not on your page...

It's ridiculous,

the op stole the funds of the guys, who send too early, which was not too early if you checked his page!
His script worked fine and took these addresses to the board, but he changed his rules and can manipulate the ladder as he likes!

The timer of his homepage don't work right, and he never said that we have to rely on blockchain.info!
The first inputs of the 24hourponzi also were 1 sec too early then....

But he paid them out...Why?!?!

I think this were his own addresses, he can manually manipulate the game as he like to!!

He dont stick to his own rules! It was clearly written, when the timer hits zero and Day#0 changes to Day#1!!

To sum up, its a great scam:

the op gets:
- 6.5% of every incoming transaction
- he takes the whole btc of these too early deposits, because of his broken page or not clearly formulated terms!!!
- double spends to his own addresses
- kind of special rules for his addresses?!

so in this case, long term everybody loses, only the op gains extremely!!

24hourponzi works like 2 minute ponzi
weeklyponzi is like 5 minutes...

Lol the first deposits are now counted as donation?!

the op answered me:

Sent too early. Sorry, those are the rules.

https://i.imgur.com/ptTcnzV.png

Nowhere was written, that the timestamp of blockchain is the more important one, than the time on the ponzipage!

This is definetly not fair, the rule was, ur deposit will be counted if the timer hits zero...

And the page wasn't open for 10 hours or something! Was refreshed 1 minute ago and i thought i could trust on it.

Operator, please stick also to your rules and admit that there have to be improvements for the next round, but dont take our money!

looks like you were before 00:00:00 to me

Just admit it you sent before the timer ended/began. even when sending theres atleast a 1 second delay. so it should definitely be on the mark.

I cant admit it, because its not right!!! I send when the timer hits zero and waited for 2-3 seconds...

yeah blockchain.info says so, but where to rely on...
Please read also what was written on the page: the timer has to hit zero!
Seems as his script had also the time, i was relying on, it took my address and the op manually deleted it.

Nobody understands the problem here?!

seems the address 13owojW2yGUE1wjHNDfCiAD6yP85onjMhC was 1 second too early, but it is shown on the site list
are we looking at the timer of the site or block chains?

because the rules state (Attention! 24HourPonzi will launch when the timer hits 0. Do not deposit until Day #1 or you will lose your deposit.)

again the timer hit 0 when I sent it.  the site dosent say follow blockchainns time. does it.

Agree.
Same here.
Blockchain clock is not sync.

That 10 seconds early deposits must count as a good ones.
Or in worst case, make a refund of them.

+1!!!

Do 23:59:59 transactions also in game??

I seriously think a very hard line should be drawn.   Otherwise it just isn't fair.   Counting a donation is pretty harsh, but maybe a refund wouldn't be so bad.  But either one should be done.

I am mixed on this. At first I said it should be a donation. Now I am not sure. The rules clearly state it will be a donation. So that part makes me want him to follow the rules to the T. We want him to follow them when it pertains to him so we should when it pertains to us. However if there is some difference between what blockcahin says for time and what his game time then I think we should not punish those that used his game and not block chains time.

That`s truly it!!

It's punish enough to be not anymore on the list on the page...

I think you are safe. He was taking those before 00 utc. I think he even allowed 1 sec of error.

The question for me is, what he does with people and their 8 secs of error...
To keep them as donation would not be fair!!
Definelty not!

I have removed all those deposits made before 0:00 GMT and added them to donations.

I am now adding all the addresses and when that's done I will enable payments.

Thanks,

OMG what are you talking about?!

Ur official homepage went to zero and sending 5 secs after it as your script did was right!!

This was no donation!!! dont scam us mate!

Hey OP what's the status?

i would say he is busy Smiley
perhaps the most fair thing to do is refund people before the timer.. don't give them 130%
maybe give them 95% back and use the 5% fee to give the latest gamblers a bit more chance

but be sure this is the first transaction
https://blockchain.info/nl/tx/a1dcdcb499e764fc6b464fdcbc420a9d77412e26e78c7a04928d8e699cac9d3b

1LBvyPAVscRrKURMwgBemQiTXsYhorsqf did send in 1.25 BTC  at 0:00:01

You are correct, I was whipped up spirit of the moment.   Refunding is probably the best way to treat the cheaters.

There aren't any cheaters, we were exactly in time! Dont know what blockchain says, but the time on 24hoursponzi went to zero and five seconds after it, it have to be in time!!

everything else is weird!

Hey!
One of those are mine, and I patiently waited 5 seconds after countdown reached 0!
If OP dont want to pay that, then just refund back.
But I promise I waited more than 5 sec.

look at the time on blockchain .

I was not looking at the blockchaint time.
I as looking at the countdown in the website.
And the countdown has expired and I waited extra 5 seconds for that...

Here exactly the same!!!
The bot took our deposits, so it counts!!

definetly send not too early and blockchain.info shows it wrong...
But your bot took my address to the board, that is whats counts!!

To sendmy 1.5 btc to weekly were foolish and more than scammy!

These should all be counted as donations, since it goes against the game.
Else its unfair for these to profit since they went against the rules.
That is an unfair advantage.
Right! OP, do the right thing! Stick with the rules you set!!! There are lots of transactions before 0:00 shouldn't be counted; otherwise, it's really unfair.

LoL there is something weird with the time stamp...

My computer switched to 00.00 and every single site!
i took a deep breath and 2 seconds later i send 1.5 btc with electrum and be the first on the list!!

The script/bot had the right time!!
Blockchain.info not!

Just to clear things up!

dont know where these 8 seconds come from!

Kind of manual withdrawing?

Any other news?  Huh

Hey Mates,

got a question how the proof of stake exactly works!

I'm using paper wallets, if i send my PHS to paper wallet, they are staking after 5-10 days! That`s clear to me!
But should i have to import my private keys after a special period of time to get the max stake?

Im not sure, but i think you dont need to  .. Palm would answer you

Or is it just sending them to paper wallet and dont have to do anything after it, and it's staking the whole time?

Does it make a difference, if i send 1000 PHS to one wallet, or 10 x 100 PHS ?

1000 will generate 1 big stake
10x 100 will generate 10 smaller stakes...

Right Palm ?

Thanks for your help!!

Ok thanks for ur response ( also to scryptographer)
so to sum up, i can leave the phs for example 4 months on paper wallet and after importing my private key,
they will start staking for these (120 days-(5-10days)) ?!
This is also what i thought, but wanted to be sure about it!
Maybe we can also hear Palm to confirm this statement!

With CGB u have to send the coins every 90 days to another paperwallet to get the max coins!
When i read this, it makes me think to ask here for my lovely PHS! ;-))

I sometimes get a warning "checkpoint is too old" in my wallet (v1.3.0.0), should I update the wallet then?

Had the same issue some days ago!
Upgrade to latest version Philosopherstone-1.4.1 should fix this problem!
