41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][BOUNTY] EVENTCHAIN OFFICIAL BOUNTY THREAD on: November 20, 2017, 03:11:31 AM

Our intention is to proactively oversee and manage our bounty program to the highest standard.

It seems eventchain is only good at promises.

This is managed very poorly. The same with their ICO. This is reflective of the entire project and team.

I hope you guys will be paid properly as this promotion seems forever.
42  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: November 20, 2017, 01:08:29 AM
Gambling, in its broad sense means betting something valuable to be able to be given a chance to acquire some more valuable things. That is the essential meaning of gamble. When you risk your life for something worth having, you are actually gambling your life. The same is true with Bitcoin investment. Although we are already weighing the possibilities, and so many factors involved in this investment, we are not 100% certain that when we wake up the following day, Bitcoin is still alive and with high value. We might wake up one day and see Bitcoin turn to $10 overnight. That is still a possibility we all should acknowledge.
43  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimum coin to begin trading? on: November 20, 2017, 12:12:25 AM
I was wondering what's minimum / ideal amount of BTC or ETH I should have in order to start trading activity

If you have any idea or just want to share your first experience in crypto trading, feel free to write them bolow

In my experience, there is no such needed minimum amount to be able to start crypto trading. What is necessary in crypto trading is minimum amount of crypto trading skills and understanding. Without such minimum knowledge, however large your starting capital would be, you will always end up gaining nothing in the end. That is why, learning requires patience. But of course, just to be safe about it, it is better to start small, say $100.
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: November 18, 2017, 11:38:33 PM
bitcoin is five years time in my opinion there will be a lot of hard forks from the original bitcoin blockchain and the value of bitcoin would increase by 300 percent today's price. if transaction's speed and price remains the same, bitcoin's not improving and maybe the price wont grow that much

It is rational to conclude that if the transaction fees as well as the confirmation speed of Bitcoin is not ironed out in due time, there will be a backlash of Bitcoin supporters and Bitcoin will be of lesser value. However, it seems it is not the case. Perhaps the majority of Bitcoin users are only hodling their Bitcoins for growth in its value and not for spending. That is probably why they do not care at all about the speed and transaction fees. After all, they only spend their Bitcoins very occasionally.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the anti government on: November 18, 2017, 10:59:50 PM
I have realized that almost every body is anti government when it comes to bitcoin and be decentralized or not being controlled by government.  Grin

Not necessarily anti-government. There are just some features of the government that seem to be encroaching to the choice and freedom of the people. While it may also be about how tolerant we are to the government and its actions, some people are feeling that they are already choked and such feeling will lead into a kind of revolution, although not an armed one. Bitcoin is another direct effect of this feeling, not just against the government of course but also to the banks.
46  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Best Time to Become a Trader on: November 17, 2017, 10:51:48 PM
Whenever you have good knowledge and skills, you can become a good trader. Let hurry up.

To be a professional trader of cryptocurrencies, you really have to acquire and develop certain knowledge and skills. But it does not have to be hurried up. Learning according to your own pace is the best way so that some other very important details will not be skipped or forgotten. Remember that trading is both good and bad for your investment. It is as risky as it is profitable.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I think the Chinese are fucking you guys on: November 16, 2017, 11:22:18 PM
I have watching the cryptos over the last couple of months and there is clearly someone playing strategy. As most of the miners are in China, I think it's them.
I'm however stumped at why so many people still fall into the trap.

What do you think ?

Apparently, that is the true case. China is a country very much wanting to manipulate and dominate everything. That is why when a certain coin is handled mostly by the chinese, I would already think twice of investing into it. What is advantageous though is that there are other pumps happening with their backing and you can easily ride with it. But this will be good only if you are 100% accurate in your predictions. Although it remains very risky in that you cannot be 100% sure. They might suddenly dump with all of you joiners becoming victims.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: November 15, 2017, 11:37:29 PM
My advice to newbies: do not check your Bitcoin wallet every minute of the day. You might end up a victim if your emotional responses. There will falling of Bitcoin prices because this is a coin whose value depends on the demand from investors and supporters. But if you don't mind these falling of prices, they will be followed with high flying in a while. So let your wallet sleep soundly.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's collapse on: November 15, 2017, 01:03:09 AM
Nice try in promoting your project. But let me focus on what is indicated in the subject line. To be clear about it, there is no Bitcoin collapse that happened. Let it be known to all that Bitcoin remains standing solid and firm. Collapse is a term that is fitted to be used to other shitcoins that have died already. But for Bitcoin, it is a misplaced word. What happened is a price dip which is very normal. It happens all the time.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be too big to fail? on: November 14, 2017, 11:24:05 PM
After spending much time as a guest on this forum learning all I can about Bitcoin, I finally decided to join. Glad to be here and thanks for all the great advice along the way!

Now I have a question I'd like to ask. Is Bitcoin going to get to the point where it is too big to fail? The government bailed out Wall Street to avoid a financial collapse. Can Bitcoin gain the same status as Wall Street? The market cap is steadily increasing making it a big player in the game and I'm looking forward to where it is headed.

Thanks in advance!

If Bitcoin fails, there would be no governments to bail it out. Primarily because it's entire existence is founded upon a revolutionary principle that is basically against the banks and the governments. And then, Wall Street will always be saved by the government because the government is highly influenced by Wall Street, and its political leaders are to a certain extent funded by Wall Street. On the other hand, the fate of Bitcoin lies in the hands of its supporters. The strong community is the one that will protect Bitcoin.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Weird theory I heard of.. on: November 13, 2017, 10:56:30 PM
There was a guy on facebook, he said miners are staging a hashpower-styled coup, apparently miners will be moving to BCH and that will pump BCH up to $6000. This was before BCH started gaining. We(the group) collectively ridiculed him and he was banned from the group. Now this happens..

As far as I have learned, there is such a news really. Apparently, there is a renegade group within Bitcoin that is trying to grab the power from the Bitcoin core team. They were mostly composed of miners. I would even suspect that Jihan Wu, the top man in Bitcoin Cash is supporting it big time. The strong pump was a result. But then again, anything very artificial will not last. And we all saw what happened.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top upcoming ICO with greatest potential on: November 13, 2017, 12:27:08 AM
One of the hottest ICOs right now is CCore. This is a Cryptocurrency Payment Platform that will allow people to spend cryptos to buy their favorite stuff from online services and stores. This going to be a huge project and there are already potential fiat-based online shops partners on the list. The ICO is ongoing and there are only 16 days remaining before the ICO will finally close down.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost 80% of my bitcoins in alts, What can I do now?! on: November 12, 2017, 11:11:40 PM
Hey there

In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%

What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!

80% loss is too big that if you sell them, you might still end up with a loss. I think the much better option to take is to hold them until early next year, 2018. It was during this time this year, 2017, or a month or two earlier that the altcoins all flew really high and their values multiplied several folds pretty quick. That is what you should be waiting for. Avoid selling your altcoins with a very big loss.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is bitcoin cash rising all of a sudden? is it killing original bitcoin? on: November 12, 2017, 03:26:30 AM
I don't trust this greedy Jihan Wu and his cohorts. They play the dirtiest games in crypto for them to rise in power. The crypto world used to be an innovation that is insulated from politics and other personal and greedy tricks. Jihan Wu helped to change such clean face of crypto and turned it the other way around. The pump happening right now is not permanent. The fork of Bitcoin Cash is happening tomorrow. Thus the pump.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: November 12, 2017, 02:01:41 AM
6 month holding life running with altcoin. I don't get any profit from altcoin. my question is really have any future for altcoin? I just tired with altcoin.please drop your suggestion.
thankss😭

Most of the altcoins that we have right now that are on top, especially those that were introduced late part of the year 2016, have their All Time Highs in the first and early part of the second quarters of the year 2017. Some of the coins, in fact a good number of them, that reached their ATH during these months have not yet returned to such ATH until now. If you bought your altcoins during these times then you might really need to wait a little more time. Perhaps in the same months next year we will be seeing the same performance.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying altcoins on: November 11, 2017, 07:45:33 AM
With BTC in such a strong uptrend atm, are you buying altcoins right now? A lot of them are kind of 'cheap' and have been falling while BTC have been increasing.

Of course I am buying altcoins. And I am happy when people begin to panic and sell their altcoins because of a serious dump in their prices. This is for me a good season to acquire as many altcoins as my budget could afford. When these altcoins are in red simply because of a prospect that is siding with Bitcoin, there is something that will follow afterward that would paint smiles on our faces. Recently, crypto fans are going into Bitcoin but then after the cancellation of the SegWit2x, they went back to the altcoin world and profits started to accumulate.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Ann][ICO] Pre Sale: Magnum Link - Buy and Trade Precious Metals and Gems on: November 10, 2017, 06:43:52 AM
This could be a good project but it seems to me that it is not presenting itself well enough or perhaps it is not at all a legit one. I have some issues to point out and I would be very glad to include your ICO on my short list if you satisfactorily respond to it.

1. I cannot see a single video wherein your CEO or head of Operations or even your Marketing Officer explains Magnum Link properly to an audience. Or a video wherein Magnum Link joins a summit or a seminar or a marketing tour to promote your project with determination.

2. Your whitepaper is sorely lacking and very elementary. All I can see are mostly generic narratives that lack specific details which Magnum Link will undertake soon. Narratives and word definition will not count to potential investors. No clear roadmap either. No team presentation complete with their credentials and backgrounds and the medium through which they could be reached and verified.

3. I cannot even a see a picture with any of the team in the actual site that you claimed to be with a legal license. Produce several pictures with your mining operation along with any member of the executive team at least to make your project look legit.

4. You are going to create a trading platform. When do you plan to release the Alpha so that we may try to check it out?

These are just some that I think are very basic add-ons to your presentation. Perhaps you could present some more.

Thanks!
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR ⚡ DeepVault ⚡ Cryptopia ⚡ 🚀 Airdrop 16 of 40 Rounds 🚀 on: November 02, 2017, 09:28:09 AM
Loving this community & also Team is working so hard!
Listed in cryptopia exchange...all the best community & Team!

Yeah, Just in 24 hours they have added deeponion in cryptopia. This shows how much dedication they put towards the project.
That is something that is very less mentioned. The team deserves a huge pat on the back. It was a plan well executed- swift and in time.

I guess the DeepOnion team has already known beforehand that novaexchange is nearing its end. The team of this project is really very active. Just when the door is about to close, the deeponion team made sure to open a window. I am a fan of Cryptopia. They do not easily accept coins. Congrats deeponion.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I sell my airdropped tokens quickly or hold on to them? on: November 01, 2017, 11:57:21 AM
Most of airdropped coins is a shit coins, the price of which dumped to 0. So, no need to hold it.

That's right. Why hold shitcoins? Sooner or later they will all turn into shits. They do not even have anything proper to discuss about their coins when promoting them through airdrops. There are only a handful of coins that recently conducted airdrops that belong to considered legit projects. There was Senderon and just recently there was also Ingeniciel.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥💰[Airdrop] Nousplatform - 1st round 💰250000 Nous tokens💰 for share💰🔥 on: October 25, 2017, 02:08:36 AM
Hello to the dev here! Please be careful about this airdrop rule that requires to post on the ANN thread and in return will receive some Nous tokens depending on the quality of post. This is still an incentivized posting and this is not allowed. Remember that a lot of ANN threads were locked up by mprep, the moderator, precisely because of the violation of this rule. Your intention, which is to pump your ANN thread, might all go to waste in the end.
