In that scenario you've made a bet on 2 top technologies in the space.   While that's one way, it might be a useful thought experiment to take a look back at the Dot com bubble, and ask your self how would you have invested then.  Blockchain has many similarities to that time  - a new, not well understood technology - that everyone knows is going to be big, but not sure which tech will be big.

You can watch an interview with the founder of [Suspicious link removed] on thisweekinstartups.

They seem to know what they are doing, they are responsible for a majority Bitcoin wallet transactions.  I feel better about them after the interview.

Hey that's a good place to be.  I think you can find Bitcoin ATMs there.

Legality is different from right or wrong.
46  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Safest Way to Sell Bitcoins? on: September 08, 2017, 02:12:41 AM
You can sell bitcoin in cex.io its safe to sell your bitcoin there but if you wanted to sell your bitcoin here in forum person to person you need to hire trusted escrow here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=855778.0
there is big 3 there which is more trusted escrow and the other escrow there.. just don't trade to other without escrow..
You can also sell your bitcoin i think in localbitcoin but i didn't tested yet to sell bitcoin there. .

CEX seems to give the best price for your BTC - At this moment they offer $4782 and Kraken is $4642, Bitfinex $4583 - But my guess is because that's cause it's not so easy to get it cash out.

Easiest to get out, and most options to send your cash to is Localbitcoins.  - That is a bit hard to navigate, but pple will send cash to all kind of places. Venmo, paypal, WU, in person.

You mean someone who loves to give to charity?   I gave some BTC to Pirate Bay a few times.   Wink
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Fee is Expensive !!! on: September 07, 2017, 07:02:20 AM

I just checked and found out that transferring bitcoin is bloody expensive !  For reference, am just quoting the details of my first transaction which I did just to check how everything goes...

Bought from localbitcoins: 5USD - 0.00108668 BTC
Transferred to bittrex exhcange: 0.00084133  3.86 usd
Transaction fee: 0.00024535  which is approx 1.13 usd

22% transaction cost!

this is bloody expensive, I thought this crypto thing is supposed to reduce the transaction cost but they seem more expensive then the banks imho.

It's for this reason Dash, ETC and Litecoin and now BCC are growing in popularity.

Don't you know this is one of the secrets of BTC.  Little know section in the White Paper called User Error Reduction.   Over time the value will increase as people loose their money - decreasing supply and increasing price!!    Grin
50  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bank account verification? on: September 07, 2017, 05:24:00 AM
Buying cryptos with credit card and bank account sucks. A lot of verification and fees.

So how do we buy them when the banks and stock brokerages have my funds?  I'm listening.

You can transfer fund to a person (and their bank account) with Localbitcoins - and they give you the BTC (out of escrow).  Rates a little bit less competitive but paying for convenience.

Don't be too focused on signature campaigns now. There are other ways to earn bitcoins here, don't waste time on faucets. There are other social media campaigns here, you can sell other services like translation, just go to the bounties section. But I suggest you keep reading first while working on your rank, there's a lot of opportunity to learn here.

Where can I find bounties and what are they?

They only apply to coins running an ICO. After that the bounty programs are usually over.
