Airdrop page not working for you? It wasn't working at all, all these hours. Until I tried it with Chrome browser. Ok, so here's the deal, I got a PM that tells me to go to this page https://airdrop.postoken.org/?r=59c81d7a57If you log in with the account you created weeks ago, it just takes you to your main page, that shows your Eth address, and the tokens you have. So what exactly is the point of the PM? Do we have to do something else now? Because it's basically just taking me to my status page. But the PM is asking me to complete my registration. I'm having an issue attempting to register for the airdrop where if I enter my bitcointalk user ID I get an error message to enter my ETH address in that field. However, if I enter an ETH address into that field I get an error which tells me to enter a valid number.
So am unable to register atm.

We have contacted CoinExchange two weeks ago, got the response "Unfortunately for a short period of time we are not taking on new coin listings. Please check back with us in 30 days.". So we think that we should check back a fews days later or you guys can help us to ask CoinExchange to list POS. How can we make it happen? Is that the only exchange we can contact? no, we also contacted the LiveCoin and HitBTC, now we are raising some BTCs, so that we can cover their listing fees. |

yes, the coinage will be reset when you send the tokens to other address. So would you suggest to mint first the POS available and then transfer it to the new wallet? yes, you'd better mine some tokens before you send your tokens to a new address. |

From what I understand having read the op I don't need to sign up again to receive the third airdrop as I have been part of second airdrop and I received it too. My receiving the second airdrop itself makes me eligible to receive the third one. I would like the dev to correct me if I am wrong or if I misunderstood the whole thing. Thanks and good luck dev.
you nailed it. you shouldn't have to register again to claim the airdropped tokens if you have have been part of the second round airdrop. However, we recommend that you'd better login and check your account when the third round airdrop starts in case of any mistake. |

Hi guys,
I might be interested to buy some POS tokens from an exchange and I try to understand the concept of staking after watching a few videos on YouTube. It is written on the website that the interest rate for the first year is 100%. So if I buy 10 POS, I will get 20 POS one year later in my wallet. The interest year for the second year is 50%, so I will end up with 30 POS two years later, etc. That's pretty easy to understand if I keep the tokens in my wallet without touching them.
On the other hand, I don't understand what will happen if I buy my tokens one year from now from an exchange (October 2018 for instance )...
Will I get an interest rate of 100%, 50% or another rate depending on when the token was first minted (I don't know what interest rate I'm buying in this case)?
Does it reset to 100% when the token is exchanged from one wallet to another wallet?
Is a smart contract with a date attached to each token minted?

I believe it's the first year since the contract was created and not the first year of your wallet. So if you buy your tokens one year from now in 2018 you will get the current interest rate for that specific time of the contract, that will be in the second year the 50%. Otherwise people would just create new addresses and keep getting the 100% interest rate. That's why this is the right time to hodl PoSToken because we will never get 100% interest rate after the first year, and 2 months are already gone from the first year since the contract was deployed in August if I'm correct. yes, correct. |

Hey I don't know how to stake in MEW, does anyone have a guide?

Which of the 2 ways rewards more tokens because one would expect to have a higher reward if we don't touch the tokens for 90 straight days compared to every 3 days. Curious to see whats the process. The more frequently we do the pos mining, the more postokens we accumulate For example: Blob has 100 tokens, he hold them for the whole first year and mine every 3 days. Alice has 100 tokens, she hold them for the whole first year and mine every 90 days. If we use 100% to do the calculation: Blob will receive 100*((1+100%/365*3)^(365/3)) ≈ 271 POS Alice will receive 100*((1+100%/365*90)^(365/90)) ≈ 241 POS You can see that the effective interest rate of first year range from 140% to 170%. The totalSupply will increase to at least 2.4 Mil after the first year, this is bad for the whole system. But if we use 77% to do the calculation: Blob will receive 1000*((1+77%/365*3)^(365/3)) ≈ 215 POS Alice will receive 1000*((1+77%/365*90)^(365/90)) ≈ 200 POS How do we do it for 90 days though? Hold your POS for 90 days and then start pos mining, you will get your reward. |
