41  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin x banks on: September 23, 2018, 03:26:08 PM
I really believe that Bitcoin will make the same effect to banks that youtube did to television ( at least).
This statement was made in a documentary from a long time ago that I watched.

So how far from that  you guys think we are now?

People nowadays knows bitcoin but always choose to invest in banks because they think its safe for their money. But think about it bitcoin is more secured and it can give us huge profit. It is also perfect for long term and short term investment.
42  Economy / Economics / Re: Is NOW the best time to buy or enter in bitcoin? on: September 23, 2018, 02:44:37 PM
Bitcoin prices plunged from $4900 to $3300 withing pan of few days. Now some news-points from bitcoin world are claiming this price plunge was planned. Check following links:

https://news.bitcoin.com/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/
http://btc-flow.in/2017/09/16/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/
http://btc-flow.in/2017/09/16/after-the-boss-calls-bitcoin-a-fraud-jp-morgan-buys-the-dip/

Now without going into whether above claims are true or not, my concern is "Isn't this is the right time to enter the bitcoin market or purchase few more". There is definite signs of improvement in the bitcoin price market. Current price is around $3757. It is quite possible to see bitcoin back to 4k to 5k or more. Given biggest players from finance sector are eying this lucrative market.
What do you think, is this is right time to buy some more bitcoins or wait and watch?

The best time to invest is when you are not afraid of risking ,or when you already have enough knowledge about bitcoin. Because I know even if the price if cheap and everyone thinks that this is the best time it still you who make wise decision.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Friends reactions to crypto currencies? on: September 23, 2018, 01:48:51 PM
I was questioned on crypto currencies legalization. I explained the facts happening around. Few received it with convincing reactions and few just ignored it. I really felt bad for the guys who did not care about crypto currencies as I really know the fruitfulness? I happily taught few others about crypto currencies. What was your friends expression when you introduced bitcoin to them?
At first they think that bitcoin was a scam and it was used in different illegal transactions. But now im happy because I encourage them to join and they get interested. And now I can say that its nice to see that people choose to  know the real story than to judge it.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I? on: September 23, 2018, 01:09:25 PM
Hi I just got some extra money and I'm looking to invest, I want to invest in BTC but the price is too high for me,  what do you think will be the next BTC
one you can buy low and make a good profit when it burst?

I think its better for you to invest now because anytime the price will rise and you are able to make huge profit. Well its up to you because you have to risk in able to invest in bitcoin. You need to study cryptocurrency and bitcoin, by researching and reading some articles about this.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin? on: September 22, 2018, 05:51:54 PM
Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin?
Sometimes I think that because so many people HODL it makes is easier for some big players to manipulate the price.

I wonder what the community think about it.
I personally HODL for almost a year, I made some money and lost some money, But generally, I'm positive about the long run. I'm just curious about the fact that maybe we are the one who make it possible for big companies to influence the price in such an easy way
Holding is best for long term investment , holding helps us to reduce the losing of money. I think holding is the best thing to do now because bitcoin is falling and we cant determine when will the price rises
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: At this time buy and hold bitcoin smile in future on: September 22, 2018, 03:49:36 PM
I think this is the right time for getting a good profit in the future. I want to give to advise that it is a chance for the investor, now buy bitcoin and hold for some time and you know what to do you can sale your bitcoin when the price is high.
I do believe that this is the best thing to do, this is the rught time to buy and hold our bitcoin. Take this opportunity to earn huge profit because if you dont then you may regret it in the end. You just need to be positive thinker and have a long patience.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: GOOD NEWS!!! South Korea on BITCOIN on: September 22, 2018, 01:38:14 PM
The South Korea taking their move on regulating Bitcoin.

The government’s stance and actions thus far indicate an interest in encouraging blockchain technology and the growth of cryptocurrencies, but not at the expense of safety and security. Stated one trade ministry official:

"Any major reversal in policies is unlikely, but the government seems to believe a gradual shift in attitude toward crypto-based assets is needed. What regulators should do is figure out how to regulate them properly and prudently as Korea needs to put more emphasis on blockchain technology after obtaining knowhow and understanding of the possible flipside of cryptocurrency trading."

Wow what a great news! I can see that most of asian countries can adopt and accept bitcoin. Isnt nice to see some great news like this despite of this bitcoin fall down? But im hoping that this kind of news will continue so that many people will realize that bitcoin is really worth to invest.
48  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: September 22, 2018, 12:56:02 PM

For me it's clear, from the moment BTC went to the Dow it slide down and be played by the big boys.
More and more we see up's and down's controlled by some big players between 6000 and 7500.
Alt coins are following that vibe, and some step out the line but be pushed in the direction the big players want.
I ask myself who is behind it, are governments behind it that not like the BTC and want it pushed down to get people frustrated.
So frustrated that many of us, get sick and tired of the up line pushed down already few time around 7400.
Ofcourse we are human, and after some push down's, we want to be strong and not give up.
But we also not want to be that person that miss the boot, where the rest break and sell the BTC.
It's almost 12 o clock when this price will go up around 7400 again, and drops down again i see a huge drop coming.
And the faith in going up higher, will be lost more and more. And that is what they want.

So what are you going to do ?   Am I wrong ?      It's massive indoctrination dunn by huge selling dumps.

We have 2 options Guys, let them play with us and let them win.

Or show them that BTC is much stronger then some Jealous scary Government, they need to be stopped.

We can only win this battle if you leave your finger off the Sell button.

Succes gr Bas  sorry for shitty English
I think it will be a very bad idea to ignore and leave bitcoin. But if you really want it then do it. But I will remain here and continue what I have started, because I believe bitcoin can surpass this we just need to be patient enough so we can get benefits and opportunities from bitcoin.
49  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you were to spread the word of Bitcoin.. on: September 21, 2018, 05:35:35 PM
Curiosity surrounds the world of Bitcoin, that's for sure. But if you were to be asked to introduce Bitcoin to someone who knows nothing about it, how would you do it? What approach will you take?

EDIT:

In addition to the question, how did you learn about Bitcoin? Do you think your first steps into the crypto world is something you want other's to experience? Or would you rather have them take another path that might shed more light on Bitcoin better
Of course I will tell them positive and negative news about bitcoin so they dont expect in the end. I will tell them the benefits and opportunities they can get , I learn bitcoin from my brother and I am thankful because he introduce bitcoin to me . Its difficult at first but as the day passes I learn something.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The truth about bitcoin on: September 21, 2018, 04:52:53 PM
To judge if bitcoin is worth to invest in, you may consider this universal monetary rule:

There is NO good, easy, risk free money, that is available for everyone.

If the money good and risk free, it is called a heritage and it is not available for everyone.
If the money is good and available for everyone, its is called an entrepreneurship and its not risk free nor usually easy.
If the money is risk free and available for anyone, it is called a salary, but that is usually not very good.

If anyone claims, that money is good, easy, risk free and anyone can get their share of it, it is essentially a scam. Doesnt matter if You are being scammed with money, electricity or just waste of time. It also doesnt matter if there are several people who get scammed big time at once or millions, that are scammed bit by bit, it is still a scam. Any deal, where people are attracted with false promises and where the nature of their investment is kept hidden by purpose, is a scam. Bitcoin is not what promised and that fact is being disguised now.

This is definitely right ,bitcoin is very. You need to be fully aware of everything because you may catch some scammers and hackers. Money is not easy to get ,you need to work hard to get it. You may risk but remember that sometimes it may not lead in sweet experience.
51  Other / Archival / Re: The Founder of Bitcoin on: September 21, 2018, 04:00:11 PM
Many believed that the inventor of Bitcoin wants to remain anonymous to avoid legal consequences as what happened during 2007 about E-Gold, one of the first digital money (Bernard, 2017). On the other hand, I think it would be better if the founder of Bitcoin will reveal his identity since many countries recognized the essence of this cryptocurrency.

If this might happen, it will contribute for more development of digital currency and regulations in Bitcoin procedures. Also, the acknowledgement must be given for the person who invented the most efficient digital currency in our society.

What are your thoughts?
I respect the decision of satoshi that he dont want to reveal his identity. Your opinion is right , but it still depends on him if he want to reveal himself. I think we just need to be thankful to him since he create and develop bitcoin that helps us in so many ways.
52  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is cryptocurrency so difficult to understand on: September 21, 2018, 03:09:17 PM
I engaged with young people and layman people in my communities on the quest of exposing them to cryptocurrency. During the period I discovered that they find It so difficult to understand the concepts, they are so much acquainted with fiat currency and traditional ways of making payment transactions.
I will be impress If I can get a valuable ways and methods in making them understand what cryptocurrency is all about and engage them actively.
I think cryptocurrency is not difficult to understand but when they are first timer or newbie in crypto it will be hard for them to understood what cryptocurrency is. You need to be determine if you really want to know something about cryptocurrency. Beginners can learn as the day passes by researching or reading some articles.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kick against btc now and regret in future. on: September 21, 2018, 02:33:57 PM
Money is what the society accepts to be money. Human history has seen so many transformations when it comes to the subject of money. From barter trade to fiat money and now digital currency. But some nations are so rigid to change.well they will all regret soon because no country can stop cryptocurrency.
Most people leave bitcoin for some valid reason like for example they think that this will be the end of bitcoin and it will continue on falling down in the market, but maybe soon enough they will realize that its too late and they will regret it. They will face the consequences of their actions.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I LOVE PANIC SELLERS on: September 16, 2018, 02:32:20 PM
People go here and there spooling, spreading and propagating FUD to get on peoples emotions and to put them on PANIC MODE just so they sell their BTC, and you know what, PANIC SELLERS in these industry are LAZY, they can't and won't research and understand after lots of rise and fall in these year that the KING of all digital currencies is just going through a phase.

I personally Love PANIC SELLERS, and I hope there can be a section on these platform where they register so that people like me can contact them to buy CHEAP from they..

GRACIAS PANIC SELLERS, MUCH LOVE TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE BLESSING FUTURE MILLIONAIRES WITH YOUR COIN
Its sad to see that people choose panic selling and give up their bitcoin that holding it to make or earn huge profit. When it comes to my mind that I need to sell my bitcoin , I made myself realize that it may lead to loss of money.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you still invest in Crypto related projects, if you know it was a scam? on: September 16, 2018, 12:08:34 PM
A few years ago, we had the "Cloud mining" phenomenon and most people were warned that it was a Ponzi scheme, but they

still invested. A Ponzi scheme is a form of fraud in which a purported businessman lures investors and pays profits to earlier

investors using funds obtained from newer investors. Source : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponzi_scheme

I still see some of those types of schemes around, so I was wondering if these schemes has changed their business model or

if people are knowingly investing in these schemes.  Huh

I know Ponzi schemes are legal in some countries, but most of these schemes are advertised globally, so they should not be

legal in countries where they are classified as being illegal.  Undecided

Would you still invest in something, even if you know it is a scam?
Why would I invest if I know in the first place that its a scam. If you are in the right mind you probably say no in this kind of question. You risk and then you may regret it in the end because you have been scammed. But I think some people will always choose to invest knowing that its a scam.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You should never doubt on bitcoin investment! on: September 16, 2018, 11:20:39 AM
Take your time now to study how market price moves in the crypto market. I had realize that those market price fall down are perfectly performed so that we can see how much potential profit may get if one will going to invest now. This is just like jumping up high and one must take down to the groud first before opposing the force from the ground to jump up high. I can say that the kick off for crypto market price increase will going to start up soon.
We earn the money we desired from bitcoin ,we already take opportunities and benefits from bitcoin but some of us are still in doubt on investing. Why dont we take this chance to invest. I truly believe in bitcoin. This would be the great time to buy bitcoins .
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IS HOLDING TRULY THE SOLUTION TO DROP OF BTC PRICE? on: September 16, 2018, 09:23:22 AM
I mostly see a lot of post skirting about the issue of decrease in bitcoin market price by saying hodl, hodl of which i mostly do not get them. Assuming we all decide to hodl without any transaction that means with time btc will drain and what will be the essence of the coin. We should always be a family to embrace the state of price no matter what and ensure buying and selling in order to at least have a significant effect on market price. I hodl, you hodl and we all hodl and btc will drain just like that.
Sometimes holding is the best option to do because it reduce the chance you loss money. Holders want to earn huge profit so they choose to hold than to sell their bitcoin. I think its be bad for you to force yourself to sell because you think you may lose something in the end.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in Sri Lanka on: September 15, 2018, 05:10:02 PM
Last past months Sri Lanka's Main Bank (Bank of Ceylon) was banned cryptocurrencies in Sri Lanka. What do you think is the reason for that ? Huh
Some countries also banned bitcoin but the people who live there who is really determine to invest in bitcoin find a way. Its kinda sad because what if sri lanka people want to invest but they dont have given a chance. I hope their government change their mind about this.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The domain registrar knows the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto? on: September 15, 2018, 03:21:36 PM
Guys, this one is about Satoshi Nakamoto..

Sorry if someone has already asked this question.. but I just wanted to bring this up.

From what I know, Satoshi Nakamoto registered the domain name for this forum right?? I decided to check it on whois and you can see that the registrar is eNom and the domain owner details are WhoisGuard Protected.

Here's a screenshot:
https://i.imgur.com/HNupqlE.png

If it actually was Satoshi Nakamoto who registered bitcointalk.org, does this mean that eNom have on file, the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto and are keeping it secret???  Shocked Shocked
I think it will be better if we just accept the choice of satoshi regarding his identity. Its possibel that the domain name are used by fake identity. No matter who he is lets just be thankful to him. He want some privacy and lets just give it to him.
60  Other / Off-topic / Re: Soon we would not need banks on: September 15, 2018, 02:21:25 PM
The Ceo of Bitcoin cash recently stated that soon people wouldn't be needing banks anymore.Does it mean the world is going crypto soon or he is just bluffing.
This is possible to happen, but banks are around the world. We have different opinion regarding this one. I know that some of us will say that they agree with this. Maybe its possible but it will take a long time.
