I install the wallet again , i wait again for the wallet to sync. it seemed to work fine and i send my coin on the wallet. i encrypted an it restarted . Now it does not start. What do i do now?  ? Nice way to speak to someone requesting help. Wallet works fine and always has i would not say it always worked. the electrum still barely works and the QT took for forever to show up but QT works so I am happy |

They're not FPGAs.
ASICS get whatever they can do baked into them. like straight into the silicon. you can't add extra algorithms to an ASIC with a firmware update. It's impossible. Either baikal is lying and they have just been sitting on their ass and not allowing us to use the two remaining algos or its a FPGA |

I really like the Baikal Machines but they are really difficult to get. I am seeing pricing for $10,000 USD which is too much for a risk since by the time you get it, the ROI will drop.
Does anyone know if the Baikal can be hacked to mine even more algorithms? I don't know how they do their asics, but they seem multifunctional. Yes, I have googled it. I need someone that is more techsaavy.
there are people working on stuff for the X10 but nothing really happening. overclocking seems dead since there is hardware on the board limiting the hashrate. we have seen mentions of nist5 and groestl hidden in the firmware but nothing to unlock it these are not ASICs by the way but FGPA. |

Man did you guys know you can see all stats of a miner without logging in just add miner.php behind the ip adress and bam all the info is out there. You can even fucking restart cgminer through it.
The security on these things are horrible
