The hash on the pool has dropped greatly!

Are you guys not liking the pool or is there a problem ?

The JKC Network is Pretty Much Dead at this point. Weird events, like dozens of orphans in a row have been occuring recently suggesting an attack of some kind has been aimed at the coin and because the network hash rate has dropped below 2MH/s, it is far too low to protect the block chain.

If the JKC network becomes stable again at some point in the future I will consider re-opening the pool.

If anyone has any coins in the pool still, send me a PM or use the Ticket System if you want to withdraw them.

You must include :

Your JKC pool username
Your JKC Withdrawl Address (MUST BE THE SAME AS YOUR ADDRESS ON THE POOL)

I've tweaked the lastNshares calculation to double the number of shares from normal because of the very low difficulty.  It is now 1533, that should help with your issue.

It's because the difficulty is so low, the dynamic lastNshares value is only 767 shares, i.e. shares expire very quickly.

I can tweak the calculation a bit to increase it because of the very low difficulty.

I haven't seen that before, I'll check into it.

I built the linux version on 32 bit ubuntu and I don't have any sign of the special gem wallet.

How many confirmations are required for mined blocks before the immature transaction confirms ?

The other pool just came online and I notice he has his set at 520.  

Is that correct ?

Assuming 520 is correct I have reset the pool to that number.  If it's lower than that please let me know.

That seems really high.

Both fixes have been made and the stratum server restarted to implement them.

One of his miners is getting a lot of rejected shares very quickly and that is confusing VARDIFF into cranking up his share difficulty to insane levels where he continues to get lots of rejected shares causing his hash rate calculation to skyrocket.

This is why he has the highest hash but the lowest payout.  The PPLNS payout logic isn't confused by this situation.

1. Rejected shares shouldn't be counted in the hashrate calculations, I will fix this.
2. VARDIFF's re-targeting similarly needs to be modified to exclude rejected shares.

Also, it seems like the confirmations are coming very slowly. Is that normal for BitGem ?
