41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: T-Rex 0.21.6 NVIDIA GPU miner (Ethash, Autolykos2, Octopus, Kawpow, MTP) on: September 14, 2021, 11:07:38 AM

I use PhoenicMiner (Nvidia/AMD cards)
KFA2/GALAX GTX 1070 OC Sniper 8GB micron vram.
GPU1: 61C 98% 138W
GPU1: cclock 2113 MHz, cvddc 1050 mV, mclock 3999 MHz, Tj 72C, p-state P2, pcap no, 202 kH/J
GPUs: 1: 27.832 MH/s (2242)

Hope this helps and if someone can improve it let me know.

You could try lowering vcore to 1044mV or 1031mV, see if its gonna be stable. I'm sure if it would require lowering cclock to 2100MHz it won't hurt h\r.

I didn't see any profit in memory OC, so I kept it at 4000mhz. Core - 1999mhz. That was giving me ~28mh@100-110Watt depending on card when I mined eth at june.

I didnt post that link for you or anyone to actualy use it, I meant to say that only there more precise hashrate can be seen now.

No, efficiency is not properly calculated - that's one problem. Second power consumption is not avg. over time, but current. Actual 2h avg. power consumption for gpu1 is 198.34wt according to HWinfo. So best(and only) way is to go to http://192.168.0.101:3333/summary. There hashrate(minute or instant) is what it is supposed to bee: ~4205kh/s

Please bring back KH\s for firo! In MH\s it's impossible to see the results when you tweak overclocking, cos difference may be just 10 or less kH\s

Hello, I have an old r9 290 left over from the old days that I used to mine zcash. Will it work with t-rex on autolykos mining? Anyone has any idea about the hashrate i'll get? Any recommendations from people with similar cards?

Please fix --tfan behavior when t° is too low it would spin to 100%

It happens when actual t° is lower than --tfan by 10C° or so.

(autolykos2) Minor performance improvements (mainly Pascal GPUs)

I got like 0.1% h\r increasement on 1080ti)))

Actual h\r on pool side is indeed 50% of reported.

What the hell is wrong with fan control on pascals? It would spin fans to 90%+ for quite some time before settle down. No such thing was on 0.20.4 version when i mined MTP, now I found out u can mine EGRO and tried latest version and got this.... Well, eventually it got ok, but at some point fan control got cards 10C° below tt.

PS oh, and T-rex is more power consuming than NBminer a little bit. Reported h\r is the same.

PSS after 40minutes it does not look good on the pools side, it's like 50% of h\r I had with NBminer. I'll mine for at least 3 hours with 1 rig though just to be sure...

You should not check reported hashrate... that can be very easy modify it... Then all people will think you have the faster miner. To know the reality you should check average hashrate in pool for a long time. To do that put them all to a pool one one miner ... and watch the real received hashrate for a week. Make a note every day same time. Then re-do same with lolMiner and compare number of received shares. Then you will realise, which miner say real hash and which one inflates his hashrate to have more users...
And you will realise that lolMiner don't inflate his hashrate.

Intensity is obviously lower, on my home PC I can mine with lolminer and browse almost w\o freezes, with nbminer mouse cursor barely moves)) So, no, there is no point.

Reporting on 1080ti performance on ERGO: first thing miner doesn't have any timings, so gotta use pill or, as I did, u can keep NBminer's timings since they are stronger. So... lolminer gives less h\r(by 12%+) with less power consumption though(8%), so it seems it just does not load cards as hard as NBminer can. Until these issues are fixed its not competitive even with 0% fee I'm afraid Cool

also if you mine at ethermine.org keep in mind they have increased share diff. to 4.29 from 4.00 not so long ago.

Please try running without watchdog (--no-watchdog) to see if it's a watchdog problem.

Yeah, I've tried starting miner w\o watchdog several times - no such issue! Thing is, as I've said, when mining FIRO I use watch-dog as well and it never goes idling... And I can't disable watch-dog long-term, cos mem-tweaks require admin rights and with them bat file opens another window for miner and lines like ":start" and "goto start" just won't apply to it((

PS actually, no, it's not WD's problem - just caught it with WD disabled....
