now that the merit rule has been estabilished for rank promotion it is almost going to be impossible to rankup for majority of the people unless each and every active account are forced to spen their smerits.
most of the people dont even bother reading others post or just give it to their friend.
but according to me a rule should be estabilished that atleast 50% of the smerits allotted should be spent and failing to do so the account should be penalised is some or the other way.
also the smerits should be refilled at the end of every 2 weeks(same time period as activity)
it is not upto me to decide the penalty
for example- you get a temporary ban and you cant post for a certain time period

people cant dodge the rule by saying they dont find good posts,there are thousands of posts made each day
so for 2 weeks minimum post is 14000 post and if you cant find 5-10 posts which fullfill your criteria of an ideal post then the merit system is nowhere going to be benificial for this forum.

recently a lot of people have started investing in waves and have converted their coins into waves.
i havent done much research about waves,but i have recently seen some sites accepting waves as their payment.
so do you think it is going to compete with ETH for the no.2 spot soon?

according to me the best altcoin to keep a variety of altcoins would be coinomi.
i am using it currently to store ethereum,bitcoin,litecoin,dogecoin and some other cryptos.
it is versatile and their contact team(in case of queries) are responsive.
its prices are what majority of the exchanges follow and unlike other wallets does not deviate by 100-200$  .

according to me the main reason is that china has banned exchanges.
people have panicked a lot and have made drastic and illogical decisions which has lead to this.
also it is due the correction is bitcoin price that was due in the month of jan.

according to me the coins you should invest in for a short time is
1.ethereum
2.monero
3.litecoin
these three coins will most probably give you a significant profit in the next 6 months if you invest a good amount in them.
they all have a lot of potential and are well stabilised.

according to me the best option would be to hold onto ETH.
ETH has way more potential than waves and on top of that it is more popular,versatile,stable(does not rise or crash too much suddenly).
ETH is more accepted(as a form of payment) than waves.
so it would be best for you to hold onto to your ETH and in case you still insist on investing spend no more than 0.5ETH in waves.

according to me if bitcoin decreases you should hold your coin or invest some more and wait for it to increase again.
bitcoin has shown a lot of promise the past year and is unrivaled for its number 1 spot.
so you can always be more sure about bitcoin than any other but at the same time it requires gut as its a lot of risk which is upto the investor.

According to me this is the perfect time for people who have been in a fix about when to invest,they should immediately do it as if they miss this chance they are most probably going to regret it a lot.
Most of the major coins have taken a significant correction in their values and there is still some time left before they start rising,but some have started stabilizing in intermediate range.

though you are not completely wrong but when one major coin increases or decreases it does have an affect on others which may or may not be significant but no two coins are directly related.

According to me if you are fine with loosing the whole amount you can go all in.

according to me you should keep your calm and wait for bitcoin to rise again,in the past year whenever it has decreased it again has always rose above that value.
i am not talking about the values which it suddenly gained,i am talking about the value at which it stabilised and decreased suddenly.

30% IN ETHEREUM
15% IN NEO

if you are looking for a long term investment you can invest 5% in ripple too and make it 10% in NEO.
keep up with the market on a daily basis and also do occasional analysis of where you are standing like once every month or when there is a sudden correction in multiple coins like that happened this time.

according to me you are completely right ,there really has been no significant improvement for the past 2 years and there is no reason to hold them.
but i dont think you are making the right choice by buying reddcoin,in case you dont want to go for mainstream cryptos like BTC and ETH try litecoin or XRP they are worth unlike reddcoin.

according to me for xrp to reach 10,000$ is not possible for the next fifty years.
They are majorly governed by banks and as many mentioned banks don't let people make money they only think about themselves.
My prediction is that it might reach $5 by 2020 or maximum $10 but not more than that.
Ripple is a good coin and has a lot of potential but it is not much popular due to its current value.
My personal opinion is that in case you want to invest in ripple and earn big you need to invest way way more,else there won't be a significant profit at all.

according to me ETH is the best coin and has been in the 2nd position for a long time.
it recently rose from 770$ to 1400$ in 2 weeks which had greatly benifited many and also due to the increase in bitcoin fees and confirmaton time,a lot more people have started using ethereum for less amount as the transaction fees is almost less than a dollar and the confirmation time is way fast than btc.
if you are thinking to invest in any coin apart from btc, my advice to you would be to invest in ethereum.

ethereum in 2 weeks went from a mere 770$ to 1400$,
it actually doubled it self,and now most of the major cryptos are facing corrections do you think ethereum would reach 2000$ or would it again stabilise around its previous value?

according to me most of the people are holding their bitcoin and not even thinking about it to sell because they have the confidence that it would rise.
but as for me i took this opportunity to double my investments in bitcoin as i am sure it is going to rise again and even if it rises by a 1000$ i will get a significant profit.
still there are some impulsive people who have sold their btc in fear and i would say that they have made the wrong move.
