ok got a technical question here. So just started playing with the 16x to 16x pci-e extenders I rcvd from CryptoCables and went from 770/khs to a 70 khs on my 7970? I went into cgminer and am showing the voltage at a much lower then what it was now being around .8 V and engine/mem clock is around a 100/500 default and will not let me change any of those settings? Noob when it comes to working with extenders so am I missing something here?

*edit* all working now and not sure what I did differently. Just unplugged everything and replugged and now working like a dream!

Interested in mining this coin but I've had the qt running for over 20 minutes and still don't have any connections. Am I missing something here?

any idea on how to fix the extremely slow reindex of block chain for the newest update in OSX Lion? Read something about changing a -dbcache but no luck in finding that anywhere Faster Block Sync or ReindexingThe first time you run Litecoin 0.8.x it is necessary to reindex your old 0.6 blockchain or obtain all blocks and index it from scratch. You may make this a lot faster by running litecoin-qt or litecoind with all the -dbcache=X parameter, wherever X is often a number in megabytes you intend to dedicate on the dbcache. The default is 25MB that’s fine for normal operation, but your reindexing from the complete blockchain could be much faster should you give it an increased number like 500 or 1000. Currently Litecoin 0.8.3.7 without -dbcache needs to as much as 400MB of RAM, so be cautious to provide dbcache at the level that avoids swapping that’ll hurt performance. Remove -dbcache soon after your 0.8 is fully upgraded and synchronized while when using the blockchain to relieve your memory requirements. |

anybody know how to change the -dbcache in the newest Litecoin update? Basically it is going slow as balls and read you need to change the -dbcache to 500-1000 when trying to reindex blockchain? Any help on OSX lion is greatly appreciated!

Very well handled on every aspect dcwsco and appreciate the updates as well and of course manually transferring the coins missing. This is the type of support/service all pools should learn from and will be calling this place home on my LTC mining days. Instead of another coin request how about a site request Any chance of seeing a graph of all the Alt coins together so you can easily compare them like coinchoose has? Would love to also see an option allowing you to unselect the coins you do not want to see to get rid of some clutter. Thanks as always for a great site and support. |
