41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if SOUTH KOREA SHUTTINGDOWN BTC??? on: September 29, 2019, 04:06:44 AM
That will be a horrifying event. But months ago, I watched an interview of cointelegraph of a famous crypto vlogger/youtuber from Korea and he clearly said that Koreans really love cryptocurrencies so I don't think it will. The Korean youtuber also said that it's just the white people referring to Americans always trying to FUD the market.
42  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Martingale strategy increase your chance of winning? on: September 29, 2019, 03:52:37 AM
I highly believe that it was made to make you lose more because it's like an never ending attempt chasing your losses everytime you double your bet. I even did that only on 5x but I was not still successful because there is always a point that you will feel that it is over and you just accepted that you lose. Martingale strategy was entertaining though than the usual betting.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: How long can you endure? on: September 28, 2019, 01:47:35 PM
It is good to be Optimistic, but sometimes you assume the worst so as to be able to endure the hard time, we have thought the bearish  be over by now, different speculations...with the view of things, the bear persists, there is a lenght to which everyone can persevere in tough time. how long can you endure the bear?

It's funny because bull run has happened and has passed and I was not lucky to make profit between those months. I can only survive 1 year of bear period and I think I could handle another year anymore or I'll be dead. Now we are back to bear mode and I'm still hoping that even there's only a very small chance that there is still going to be an explosive altseason to save me from being broke.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: September 28, 2019, 01:28:10 PM
I'll ask such a banal question (yes, is there already a rule in this forum)

Do you know how to make money by betting Esports? Do you have any good ways (in your opinions) to make money? Or maybe only intuition , current form, players' morale?

I think it's a pretty good idea, such as more serious consideration and analysis like here on esports bettings talks  but I'm talking about restricted discussions in the restricted area. Insiders and key information. Do you know any other sources of this kind or somethink for reading like blogosphere gaming information and news here ?

So you are into Esports then my assessment is to look closely at the player's or team's standing. The most popular esports are in the shooting or FPS genre and you can already tell who has great chances of winning by checking their past games on their youtube channels or tournaments. But sometimes people will just bet on the player because they like him as a person or they idolized them.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Cock Fighting on: September 28, 2019, 01:07:55 PM
Sabong or cock fighting is very popular here in the Philippines are is very much accepted by its citizens but it was later on labelled as illegal gambling. I never tried gambling with online cock fight or even physical but I sure do love to watch it live and I was lucky that when I was young, there are always a group of men that does it near my place and it's so entertaining like you are watching a  fighting match of a boxing or wrestling sport.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: September 28, 2019, 03:56:15 AM
We always see the price rise for a short period after the listing in the exchanges or after IEO, but soon price be come down,
this may due to two reasons:
The first reason is that the coin or token has no real value.
The second reason is the large sale of those who got his coin  free such as airdrop.
Isn't that true?

That airdrop is meant to be sold in the first place because they have the right to do it but I do believe that airdrop are not responsible for the plummeting of coins. The total value of airdrops are very low that it does not have a significant change in the value of the token if they all sell. And the IEO, their pump machine does not work anymore and people got burned so hard in their last participation even in the top and reputable exchanges that launch it so they now go down instantly or your first reason just perfectly describe the coin.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull run 2019-2020 on: September 28, 2019, 03:35:08 AM
Hi guys,
The bitcoin block reward halving is next year in may.
Do you think this would lead us to a new bull run these year?
What are you're thoughts

It really happened bro but most of this year's bull run is focused on bitcoin and a very few altcoins. I really hope that this is only the first part of bullrun because we still don't have the altseason that we all have been waiting for for almost 2 years. I hope it does not stop when we reach 2020 and the bullrun should be much more aggressive the closer we get to halving.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Believe That It's A Fix on: September 28, 2019, 03:12:00 AM
I think I will listen to that guy and bet for what he suggested while I also bet for my favorite too. I spread my chance to win in betting by choosing both. I will use 50:50 to bet, and I will place a bet on both of them. I think if one of them will be the winner, I can get the money. That is what I will do if I can choose both of them on the bet placed.

What's the point on listening to that guy who whispered the deal to you? You are not choosing him but just trying to experiment if it is really true because you bet on both. You are not gambling at all but just playing with your money. But the 'fix' is a very common rumours in sports like in basketball or in the fighting type but perhaps it's true in small community or in local but if it's international then I don't think it's true or just rare.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: September 28, 2019, 02:55:25 AM
Yep, there is professional gamblers. One of them are those professional poker players. They are making a living out of gambling. You can also search in youtube some successful winnings of individuals in different kind of gambling. We all know luck is not always on our side so it's very risky, because in just blink of an eye your wealthy status could be gone or worst you'll be in deep debt.

Yes, I believe many professional poker players can make a living from the poker games. Although not many of them, they are surely making money for their life. But I thought that some professional sports betting is already to make money too as the poker players so they can use gambling as a profession.

Those professional pokers will have a unique technique to win the games, including how to bluff the opponent so their chance to win will bigger. Their skills cannot be learned in a short time because we need to have the experience too. The more skills we have, the more chance we can win the poker game.

Yeah, I sometimes see them on television on cable. But man, these people must have a lot of filthy rich relatives around them to continue gambling because poker is a favorite game of rich gamblers and with just a small mistake, they could lose millions and a lot of their properties. But I guess some of them have already mastered not being emotional and with great discipline so that is why they can continue as a professional gambler.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one you buy Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: September 28, 2019, 02:42:07 AM
If I only have a lot of money then I would buy btc but I don't. So my ultimate pick is Eth and besides, Eth volatility  is reaching to 10% - 20% which is extremely high compared to bitcoin's movement that is only 5% - 10%. I like btc but it's plain to see that Eth is right now has much more room to grow and btc had already its turn when it spike from $3k and that was the best chance to buy bitcoin.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Your Source of Investment Money? on: September 25, 2019, 01:02:43 PM
My source of investment funds is my current signature campaign. This where I get my monthly expenses too. I convert a percentage of it to buy some needs like food or to pay some bills and I hold some of the Bitcoin that I get.
Same here. Signature campaign is my primary source of income —for now. I don't have a job yet but I have to earn money as early as possible so that I have other source of money for my other expenses. Right now, I'm just holding as advised by my partner. But aside from that, it's also my decision to hold because I don't have any major expenses, yet. Signature campaigns are really big help.

Those who are very lucky enough to have their signature campaign still running at this moment like bitsler and bustadice will always have the money to invest in other altcoins. Signature was also my source fund but I guess good things doesn't last long and I am not even lucky enough to reach Sr. member before the admin changed the rules of ranking through the merit system. The only funds I got left from the previous bounties that only this year get listed and suprisingly has its own value.
52  Economy / Economics / Re: Can not believe 5 years ago you could of bought one whole bitcoin for this much! on: September 25, 2019, 12:40:50 PM
For $651~ you could of got yourself a shiny whole bitcoin on coinbase plus their $6.66 fee.
I wouldnt of mind paying this fee on top regardless.
Even if they were asking 10% of the purchase amount at the time which is probably more by now. Wink

I don't think it looks cheap if you are one of the people who bought bitcoin early. There were others that bought it very cheap at $100 or even below than that and that I would consider a thing that someone who will not believe that it was bought at that price.  Maybe it is just a good price at that year because I remember in 2017 in January that btc was still $800-$900 so it was still close to that $600 range.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is it safe to exchange big amounts? on: September 24, 2019, 02:09:27 PM
What exactly is the term 'safe' you are referring to? Is it that your identity and your transactions will always be safe and not exposed? or Safe to get your money back right after you exchange a big amount? If it is about your history on the exchange, I doubt that it will be safe forever because hackers can even pull out kyc documents. BUt if it's just getting your money after you exchange is guaranteed safe in top exchanges or or even in my local exchanger is also safe.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why exchanges most interested to launch IEO? on: September 24, 2019, 01:28:38 PM
I think at first that other exchanges really have no idea at this at all but it only sparked when Binance had successfully did a few IEOs that gave back a lot of profits on its investors. And the other top, relevant exchanges join the bandwagon and even the unknown/ shitty exchanges came up also with their own projects. Every exchanges will really be interested to do an IEO because first is they get paid for the listing and launching fee, then the get recognized by other traders if they heard that they produced successful IEOs which will attract more users and more volume and third is that people will promote their exchange subconsciously to others when they talk discussions about crypto.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: So what is your favorite crypto exchange for trading in 2019?🔥🔥🔥🚀🚀🚀 on: September 24, 2019, 01:13:44 PM
It is strange that your list does not have the Huobi crypto exchange and such a wonderful exchange as Okex. Both provide margin trading opportunities, have an excellent reputation and an excellent interface.
I advise you to look at them and, if you want, add to the list.

Yes, Huobi is fine but adding Okex on it is not even a good comparison. Just check the article on exchanges that has been faking their volumes and you will find out that Okex and many top or popular exchanges are there. For me, Binance is still my favorite and even though I became inactive for a long time is that Binance is the first exchange I used right away after I came back.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: IEO: Where should I buy? on: September 24, 2019, 03:30:51 AM
2019 market boom of IEOs on the exchanges. So Where should I buy on exchanges?

Huobi and Okex are now the only exchanges that are left that is continuously giving good rois. You can also add Kucoin if you are only a risk-taker because it seems like they are back in the game after their last IEO tokoin that has given good results despite of its big supply. But with those 3 that I mentioned, Huobi is where I will put my money because Okex are all just fake volume and wash trading. And Binance has so failed IEOs that I would not recommend for anyone to join their IEOs or it will be their losses.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: IEOs is a game for top exchanges. on: September 24, 2019, 03:04:54 AM
Yes, you are right. IEO in big exchanges have an excellent opportunity to be successful, but not all projects in top exchanges have a chance to be successful. I always check the project carefully because if a project is in the top exchange it doesn’t guarantee its success and same is vice versa.

Investors don't really look at the project's success through adoption or partnership but the truth is that they look at its roi to consider it is successful. There are very good projects that gets listed on Kucoin, bitmax and gate but now they are failing because they hype on it died and it don't get pumped anymore. But it's true that IEO is a game for top exchanges because they still get huge gains even just for the 'initial fee' of the projects who wants to get launch on their platform.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Btc price is allready too high on: September 24, 2019, 02:50:09 AM
Too high? Just wait until bitcoin reached $30k or $50k next year and everyone who hesitated to buy will look back at its current $10k price that took forever and they will automatically say that they should have bought earlier. Because that is the truth, a lot of people would not buy when it is getting dumped but they will get ahead after each other when there is a large FOMO because of the price shooting up.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you need to become a successful trader? on: September 24, 2019, 02:30:08 AM
What i want to know is how can i become a successful trader and make money for the rest of my life. Should i learn technical analysis or harmonic patterns......

Those strategies would really help but to be a successful trader you must learn how to avoid being greedy. Always grab the opportunities to earn profit. You said you want to make it a living so you have to set a realistic daily profit to make it possible. Some traders lose money because the profit they want is based on speculation they hear.
For daily profit all people must be sitting at the computer 24/7 hours per day.

That's called insanity, man. You can't catch everything sticking your eyes on the monitor for the whole day and consistently get profit. That is not also healthy. Just keep it cool and keep up with the latest news because most of the prices of crypto are driven by news so it is better to be resourceful than to looking at the price orders to move because it might take you forever just to execute your orders.
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Savings Vs Investment? on: September 24, 2019, 02:16:22 AM
Investment is much better because saving as the word goes which means to save money. So basically, you are just putting your own money aside for future or normally emergency purposes like when you get sick. While investments will give you returns and it keeps growing depending on what kind of investments that you have because that main example where your money grow is in banks.
