41  Economy / Service Announcements / Why my 2nd order was my last one with Amagi metals. on: January 06, 2014, 05:42:32 PM
I placed a silver round order to test the water over a month ago, and received it. And when it came time to place another order, I had a very rude awakening!

The form turned green indicating the the order had been fulfilled but the page suddenly redirected somewhere where I could no longer seem to get back to it to get an order number.

No matter, I'm sure that the order was at least placed. But then I got an email asking me if I was having trouble placing my order.

I wrote back and said NOO!! The order was PLACED! So they wrote back and said, "Please send us order details." Which I did, but I gave my phone number as 954 555 1212.

She wrote back saying that they could not fulfill the order without a phone number.

These people clearly do not understand libertarian aspects of bitcoin. Otherwise, she would have just put in the phone number that I supplied her with: 954 555 1212 -- which is the phone number I used for the last order, and for all orders placed at Agora Commodities.

So in a country where the NSA listened to 200 million calls in a month, she is asking me for my real phone number!

People in America seem to have no real understanding of the impact of Snowden, but I do not expect it from people in the bitcoin community itself.

TL;DR: I am unhappy with Amagi Metals and will be placing no orders in the future.

Fellas, I gotta drop out. I lost my job last Wednesday and have to worry about making a living. I have no more time. Two people are helping you get documents on Bit365, when they message me, I will forward them to you, but I got to now focus on car insurance and rent!!!!

Welcome to the United Snakes! Land of the Thief! Home of the Slave!!!

So sorry, from now on accepting donations to match my 0.2 btc (addresses posted already), but moving on from daily trying to find this guy.

I went all over the world on this fucker. Serbia. Santa Rosa, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Scottsdale, AZ, Ireland... Spekulatius is a German cookie!!!

Like in the mob movies with the whiteboard and three non-photographs with '?' on them...

You guys are on your own, so sorry, I have to do other stuff for my survival.

I have contracted a bitcointalk member to help me obtain documents about bit365.

I have spent 0.2 BTC. I am accepting donations. Here is a record of the transaction.

https://blockchain.info/tx/157636dfe5e2c803d7993681cb0da9821d8c974bb16c0f1d0d8dcb60d7fb7752

Proof I control this:

http://bitcoinsports.eu/bet/12fb9?destination=bet-slip

I am accepting donations at this address or at the previously posted address: 1Bcnt4thpoN4an4tUbScZSyTgyvDMyjeNq

Caveats are: 1. You must be provably owed bitcoin to obtain information. 2. It must be on or after Feb 1st as the agreement stands between myself and bit365. 3. Information regarding his home or office address, as it may lead to physical confrontation, is likely to be throttled, if obtained. In other words, I haven't decided how or if I can give that information out yet. I'd have to have crazy assurance that no harm will come to him or his family.

Can anyone help? Make went fine. When running the parser, it's just hanging...

info: starting command "simpleStats"

and then it just sits there indefinitely. I ctrl-c after a half hour or so, assuming nothing is happening (8 gb memory).

What have I done wrong? I think there is an "info: parsing blockchain" message supposed to come after that. I have checked and my blockchain is in ~/.bitcoin.

Can anyone help?

EDIT: SimpleStats came back in 5774 seconds ... a little over an hour and a half... so I guess I need more memory or something.

...
What really irks me is that I have not received one response from my numerous emails I sent after the first response, even when the rare updates mentioned how important keeping communication is.
...

That irks me too. I believe that bit365 takes advantage of anonymity to distance himself comfortably from customer support.

In other words, he sleeps at night peacefully without thinking about your 53 btc. But you sleep at night thinking, "How when... or even IF ... [you] will ever see [your] btc ever again."

To me, this is a violation of karmic law. As such, I have assured bit365 two things.

1) I will have his identity by January 31. He doesn't know me. But he MAY come to know me -- as many have already come to know me -- by dismissing me as inconsequential. Though this has not been pleasant historically to others, he is free to choose.

I assure you that I have worked every single day, including Christmas to uncover his identity. I will have it by the end of January.

2) If his bets are still outstanding by the end of January OR he has not come to some agreement with his creditors by this time ... I will give the documents I have to anyone to whom he owes bitcoin. I told him this in order to force him to come to payment agreements with clients such as yourself. I am disappointed to learn that he has not reached out to you. Perhaps he wants to learn "the hard way."

I am not a threatening man. But I make the promises that I keep. This is how I sleep at night.

I am telling you this in case he does not work anything out with you by February 1, to reach out to me and accept the documents that I have. Perhaps I will conclude his identity; or perhaps I will do 99% of the work that a third party needs to do so.

Speaking of which, a third party has been tentatively contracted. His fee is 1 btc, however, I have committed to 0.1 btc.

I am accepting donations for my efforts and the efforts of the third party I have contracted: 1Bcnt4thpoN4an4tUbScZSyTgyvDMyjeNq.

Actually, I used to do SEO for a living (not much of it ... $25K annually) and you do what this guy did which is "spam" without spamming, ie, is not anonymous sports betting with bitcoins what we are complaining is out of order?

I lived in a gray area for a few months. He is not affiliated with bitcoinsports.eu, as if you check his eurid registration, he left plenty of breadcrumbs, which bit365 did not do.
47  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: December 30, 2013, 04:22:46 PM
Lots of payouts in last few hours, I have updated the sheet at

https://etherpad.mozilla.org/MZ3eG4apz2

I would like people who have investments that are paid out to update this sheet. The reason is that the investments do not have public addresses on them; as such, I can't possibly know if the investment was closed AS WELL AS PAID. So if you could just type "PAID" or leave as is if not paid, this would help.
48  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: December 27, 2013, 06:04:46 PM
Whatever happened to payouts will be resuming within the next couple of days? =P

Same story every time he comes back online

'so sorry, crazy times. I'm definitely not scamming you. Just a few more days and everything will be sorted. I'm definitely not scamming you all. I promise I'm not just stringing you all along and trying to get as many bets and investments as possible while there are zero consequences to me personally'

I'm afraid i have lost all hope. I am now looking into alternative recovery methods and making sure that there are personal consequences for this scamming scumbag

We have a few people working on docs for Bit365. And I've contracted a third party for confirmation's sake, as I do not need the extra karma of identifying an innocent person.

Donation does not imply results, however, I do not want to foot the bill by myself. I have committed to him for 0.10 BTC even though his fee is actually 1.00 BTC. He PM'ed me yesterday saying he was swamped with requests but will get to it. I do not know what time frame is implied by this.

My own efforts are proceeding on schedule. I do believe I will have him positively identified by the end of January, 2014.

I have spent about 16 hours so far (two full days -- sometimes it sounds like "Nacthrichten zuruck gusssamen ... " Ich nein sprache die Deutsch). I was able to find one of the software packages I will need to obtain documents at github and am working on setting that up (have to run it on ubuntu OR compile/make the C/C++ on windows) after this message.

I am accepting donations for my efforts and the efforts of the third party I have contracted: 1Bcnt4thpoN4an4tUbScZSyTgyvDMyjeNq.

Thank you,
Moge die macht mit uns allen sein!

49  Economy / Services / Re: Scammer DoX Service [ 6th December Release ] on: December 24, 2013, 08:11:36 PM
Is it just me or OP failed to provide any proof about his skillset?

Researches like this performed by a single person require that person to have both very high technical skills and practice in doing this in real life context (working for a law enforcing agency or at least as private investigator and be very good at it). But we have a problem here. Once you're a cop, technical self-education decreases in priority. Always. Just because cops and IT pros have very different ethics. And once you're a solo techie bounty hunter, you usually lack resources and connections to bust someone. Remember Shimomura? He had to go and sell himself to the cops to get access to their vast resources to catch Mitnick.

Looks to me like reddit slimed him just because he tagged the receiver of the donation as SM, which I would have done. But reddit, which jumps to wrong conclusions which are then skewed by up/downvotes, assumed that he was doxing the doxer, and therefore stupid.

I was satisfied with his results and contacted him for his services. Am awaiting a reply...
50  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: December 20, 2013, 08:59:29 PM
Ok, a handful of people PM'ed me and I reviewed my information, and I believe that it's not yet a slam dunk. There's more work to be done. I've assured bit365 that I will continue until it is completed and that it would be arrogance on his part to doubt this.  And I believe he understands this. It is a check-and-balance of power in this community.

I have encouraged Bit365 to work it out, even on an individual basis if possible. If he PM's you, try to be flexible at this point, as we all have lost bitcoins before. (I'm not saying it's what happened, but it's possible.)

Nobody wants to see his site fade away -- in fact, quite the opposite -- there was no "bettor" place on the web! (bit365, feel free to use that). We all want this situation to be resolved so that our sports betting can continue unimpeded, myself included. I can't place a bet until this thing is resolved.

I will have his identity locked-down by February 1, 2014. I am actually going to write some software to assist me. He has until January 31st to come to individual agreements, if not payouts.

If people are still interested in his identity on February 1, 2014, I WILL GIVE IT TO THEM.
51  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: December 20, 2013, 02:37:24 PM
I placed my first bet with this site a few hours ago and found this thread just now. Is no one receiving payouts for the games they've been betting on?

Coinsy,

I believe I can sum up. For many, many months, Bit365's site was just about the perfect place to gamble in BTC. Sometimes payouts were 3 mins, sometimes 3 days but always eventually.

When the bitcoin went up to $1,000, suddenly there were mysterious problems with liquidity. We received two explanations, but the larger bets were not paid; and he kept advertising money flowing, to the ire of many (myself included). Look at some of the outstanding bets: https://etherpad.mozilla.org/MZ3eG4apz2.

Since then, there have been just enough excuses/explanations for him to squeeze by. Yesterday's response is not so much about the outstanding bets as it is about fear of having his identity revealed. CovertOps is correct: Bit365 must "PROVE IT."

Covertops,

The point of doxing someone is to be able to contact him in a less-ignorable way. He can (and does) ignore his PM's, as well as his gmail/hushmail. Would he be so easily able to ignore you if you sent him a text message, left him a voicemail, or sent him a postcard or letter in the snail mail? I doubt it.

I'm working on a document is one step forward in this process. And you'll notice that even my promise of releasing his identity to people to whom he owes money has effected a response by Bit365 -- so in a way, it's already worked!

52  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: December 19, 2013, 07:57:46 PM
I believe I have identified Bit365.

However, I would like a few people to hear my theory and look at some links. I would like this to be collaborative, not unilateral. Also, because I don't want to implicate someone innocent -- that would be shitty karma.

[I believe that Bit365 broke NOT one BUT two rules! The first is about sports betting. But the second is a rule about the bitcoin itself: Just because you can rip someone off, doesn't mean you should. The peer-to-peer nature of it, and Bit365's abuse thereof has really piqued my sense of justice, both as a bettor and as an agorist.]

So, send me a bet slip that is over a week old, plus the minimum payment in BTC to show me that you control this account (I can think of no other way to exclude agents of Bit365; If you can, let me know), and I will PM you my links and why I believe that this is our guy.

Again, I don't want your BTC; I only want to be sure I am not working with agents of Bit365.

I have spent several hours, and I believe that I have made progress.

I am still working on finding bit's identity, however, I realized why there are so many people with his signature at bitcointalk.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303230.560

You guys need to start posting on that thread, letting people know what has been happening here. He is paying them for their signatures PER POST! This is YOUR money!

54  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: December 03, 2013, 01:12:59 AM
Is it still the case that you have to post on the forum to try and get paid out?  I moved my money over to bitbook.biz (link in my signature).  Payouts are automatic and very quick.  I definitely recommend!!

I have a game coming up on the 7th. I will NOT be placing my bet with bitcoinsports.eu (go, RSL!)

I think it's pretty clear that a bet's a bet ... and an investment's an investment. No communication, no appeals to the community for patience... just radio silence. This is unjust. I would never dodge someone I owed money to (and I never have).

I'm boycotting bitcoinsports.eu indefinitely, and withdrawing any and all colloquial support. My advice to you, reader, is that you do the same.

If anyone knows an administrator for this site, I suggest returning 365's ad money and not running the banner ads.
55  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: December 01, 2013, 03:46:22 PM
Great analysis!

At current writing investments are 404 BTC. Do you have any idea how many individual investors this may be?

How much of this is involuntary? In other words, how many people asked for their investment back, but have not received it? How many people or how many BTC?

I noticed that some investors are saying that even though the investment slips are marked 'CLOSED', they have not received their payout. Does this imply a 'black budget', in that the BTC is used to fund bet payouts, but is not on the books officially as an investment?

That would be unethical, IMO. It would be a deal-breaker for me if I thought the business was still using my investment off-the-books.

Hi,

Has anyone tested the gold from Agora Commodities? I don't want to have to buy a gold testing kit, scale, and calipers...

I'm not alleging anything, I just have trouble trusting what is gold and what isn't. Please PM me if you have tested AC's gold.

Thank you in advance,

In a vacuum like this (with no communication), we can only speculate what the problem(s) is/are.

I can only say that obviously there are plenty of people willing to help. We cannot, without his permission.

I've offered my services as a programmer numerous times. I can only do so once more. I would make a cash offer, but I just don't have it. (Naturally, I would honor investment debts.)

But all of this is me speaking into the wind, or writing in the sand, without 365's cooperation. 365, you have lots of friends here. Please just tell us what is going on over there.
59  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: November 28, 2013, 02:08:56 PM
I have winning bets that are unpaid going on 10+ days.

Could you do us a favor and update

https://etherpad.mozilla.org/MZ3eG4apz2

??

It's not for 365, it's for us. We're just trying to monitor activity. Our oldest bet seems to be November 17.
60  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinSports.eu - Bitcoin Sportsbook - PLAY or INVEST - No Registration! on: November 28, 2013, 01:37:01 AM
Seriously most people would feel a whole lot better if people in this thread started reporting receiving their payouts.  I don't think we've seen a single case of somebody being owed more than 1 BTC receiving it, have we?

Yes, actually. 365 is nearly caught up

https://etherpad.mozilla.org/MZ3eG4apz2

... unless you meant bets... I don't know. People are griping about investments, and some are about bets ... I confess that we have not seen a payout on a bet > 1 btc.
