42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Cryptocurrencies? on: March 18, 2018, 11:29:51 AM
Hi guys =D  May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?
Actually, there is no much places to invest, and we can see the prices in these days. The price has been falling slowly, also we can see a lot scams related Bitcoin etc.
We may can discuss about the coins there. Wink

If you are adking about my plans, then, I just sold my coins from the start of the dip, then buy again at the bottom then hold it gain until it pumps in that case I can still earn even the coin is falling. Smiley

Yup, maraming pwedeng pagkakitaan sa bitcointalk like signature campaigns translation or Ico na magandang pag investan. Kaya nagsisisi ako kasi di ko pinagtuonan ng pansin ito dati dahil ang buong akala ko ay scam lang ito pero mali ako. Kaya nga minsan iniisip ko sana pala dati sineryoso ko na ito.

Online traders of cryptocurrencies like bitcoin tend to speak in impenetrable jargon, heavy on acronyms, slang terms, and hashtags. Some of it is borrowed from traditional finance, but the digitally native generation of self-taught traders has additional vocabulary all its own. Some useful terms to get you through a conversation — or message-board fight — include:

Bags: Cryptoassets being held, generally as longer-term plays; sometimes used self-deprecatingly for soft or losing positions one should close, but can’t for whatever reason.

Bitcoin Maximalists: The truest believers in bitcoin’s original mission and design, often paired with a disdain for altcoins.

#BTFD: “Buy the Fucking Dip.” Advice to other traders to pick up a coin that’s presumably hit its bottom. “$GNT Golem making moves. Underpriced @ 7.5K If U are buying GNT under 10K still a good price 3 X LETS GO $ETH #CRYPTO #trading #BTFD”

#DYOR: “Do Your Own Research.” The trader’s caveat that advice shouldn’t be taken at face value. “$BCY has an appealing risk/reward here. Could take a few months to play out, however, and will require patience. #DYOR”

Exit Scam: Traditionally a term for darknet markets and vendors that, after building up a good reputation, accumulate bitcoins and disappear; exit scams are also feared by ICO participants who worry that, once they’ve raised hundreds of millions in hard-to-trace money, the developers will take the money and run.

Fiat: Government-issued money.

#FOMO: “Fear of Missing Out.” When a coin starts to moon, dumb money rushes in. “$LGD on a TEAR right now!!! It has major highs right now! Some major #FOMO going on!!! Sell while it’s high. It WILL drop before fight!!!”

FUD: “Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt.” Another non-crypto term that describes attempts to scare weak-handed coin-holders into selling their positions, often with rumors of exit scams or hacks; the cheap, dumped coins are then picked up by the FUD-ers.

Hodl: The intentionally misspelled word hodl has its roots in a December 2013 post on the Bitcoin Talk forum, “I AM HODLING”; when the author, GameKyuubi, couldn’t be bothered to fix his typo, the community instantly turned it into a verb: to hodl. Along
with other terms, hodl is an effective litmus test for sussing out newcomers, carpetbaggers, and tourists.

#Lambo: A running joke among traders, you’re cryptorich when you can buy a Lamborghini; though absurd, it’s not unheard of — when Alexandre Cazes, the suspected founder of a major darknet marketplace, was found hanged in his Bangkok jail cell, Thai media reported that he owned four Lamborghinis.

#Moon: A rapid price increase.

Pump: A rapid price increase believed to be the result of market manipulation, a.k.a. pump and dump.

#Rekt: Wrecked. “I never sell because of #FUD, and I never buy because of #FOMO. That’s the easiest way to get #Rekt”

Shitcoins: Pejorative term for altcoins, especially low-cap coins, often affectionately used by shitcoin hodlers.

Sats: Satoshis, currently the smallest unit of a single bitcoin, useful for tracking coin prices. “At the rate $XRP’s moving, I wouldn’t be surprised if it hits 10K sats by the end of the day.”

Whale: Anyone who owns 5 percent of any given coin, often used as a boogeyman to explain unwanted price movements. “Nice support $NEO. Clear whale manipulation.”

45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DRIVR Network - ICO - BOUNTY - Advanced A.I. Ride share platform on: March 14, 2018, 06:07:28 AM
One thing just caught my attention while reading your whitepaper: Autonomous taxi platforms will allow the non-driving
population, which includes the blind, elderly, and young teens, affordable and convenient transportation options.  So it will be likely that under your project, the taxi will be having an auto-pilot feature?

Yes, I think they are working for an AI Driven cars, an unmanned vehicles, and the passengers don't need to worry as it has many safety features, the AI has an ability of deep learning, it can also percieve accidents, there is also a panic button. The devs are doing their best to make this project successful.

Although the AI are controlled by actual people and yes the costumers will be take cared of. The DRIVR team is taking the measures that the cab they are making are secure and are immune to accidents.

Hoping that this app will be used here in the phillipines, we can let our elder, children and people with disability  commute or share a ride because it has a safety features and that is one of the best thing this drvr app have 😊😊 thanks to the developer safety is one of his aim 😎

Well I also hope that this project and dideshare will be available in the Philippines, but there will be a lot of testing will be done, and The government must approve this project, there will also be an issue with LTO but if this project passed with all of the tests and approves this project, this will be an amazing rideshare in the Philippines, it will surely be popular to its people.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🤖🚀🔥 KOIOS - AI DEVELOPMENT + FOG GRID 🚀🔥🤖 on: March 14, 2018, 06:00:09 AM
The cost of AI technology would not be that cheap. Is there any way teamK KOIOS will find an alternative regarding this matter? Expensive teachnology just like AI would cost really big time and might affect the company profitablity.

Well I think that is the purpose of ICO to sell the tokens and raise a funds to use for the project. Yes it is cery expensive, but if the project has a potential it will pull investors to invest to that certain project and that will be the primary income to use for the project.

If this project reaches business men, they will be willing to invest in this project because they will find it useful on earning some money. AIs are one of the the most popular projects right now, companies are doing what's very unique and more advanced things. So goodluck!

With this drone cargos it will be easier to deliver a package from place to place as it is faster to deliver in the air. No more complaints for slow delivery. I can't wait to see this deone flying in the sky.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]SKYFchain is the first B2R blockchain based operating platform on: March 12, 2018, 05:08:39 PM
There must be a true geniuses behind this project.. because of the innovation given to a simple drone which makes it carrybup to 250 kilograms and can travel up to 350 kilometers.. kudos to the developers.

When I was a child drones are just a plaything for us kids, but now, there are so many companies implementing an unmaned vehicles or cargos and they are making the things that we thought only exist as plaything.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]SKYFchain is the first B2R blockchain based operating platform on: March 12, 2018, 03:39:15 PM
I can't imagine an drone cargo or an unmaned cargo flying in the skies carrying packages, this is an ambitious project, but with proper focus, understanding, learning, studying andexperimenting this will be a huge success and this will ba a proof that everything is possible.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO]SKYFchain is the first B2R blockchain based operating platform on: March 12, 2018, 02:43:50 PM
Im hoping for the success of this unique project . A drone-carrying baggage with up to 250kilograms and 350 kilometers .. JUST WOW! Amazingly done . Goodluck team!
We need to promote this in social media and bring more investors so the project will become more successful. Cargo Robot has a potential in Drone technology and SKYF in cryptoworld of course.

I agree on the idea of promoting this in social medias so that many people will know about this project and for them to know the good news! I can't wait to see this working in the near future!

Love to be here with all of you. I see this project as one of top 100. Good luck too the team!

Really? Is it one of top 100? Where did you see it? I would love to see it too. I want to get any updates about this project that is why I am here. I want to see their progress as they step higher in this industry.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government's corruption using Coins on: March 12, 2018, 07:22:59 AM
There's no point of using Bitcoin to hide corruption since Bitcoin is only pseudonymous and if the corruptor buy the bitcoin with centralized exchange or/and link their bank account, they're doomed. Even worse if the whole process was done with unsecure connection.
They should use full-anonymous coins such as Monero with secure connection and use decentralized exhange to hide their asset well Roll Eyes

Also, the government can use 3rd party tracker such chainalysis to track down the coins and notify to all legal bitcoin services/exchange to notify government once the tainted coins is deposited to their services/exchange.

Correct! I was about to say the same thing. Converting money in to bitcoin through a centralized exchange will not help them to hide the dirty money trail and it will be easier for the government to catch them quickly. But anonymous currency like xmr or deeponion will be an ideal choice. Also while coverting they should make a cash deal instead of using any bank account. This way the trail can be hidden, otherwise, everything will become public.

If it is easy to catch them, then why is it that there are still corrupt government officials as of today? They must have caught a long time ago if it is easy right? That means that they are smart enough to outsmart everything just to hide their money. They have so many ways just to hide it. If they can't catch it from the banks how come they can catch them from crypto wallets that has so many ways to hide money? One thing is they can create many accounts and spread all their assets. Besides no one knows that it is a corrupted money yet. So it will be really difficult to catch, it is never easy. As you may know, some of the police or higher ups are puppets of corrupt officials. I just hope that this won't happen because it will be a bad thing for every country.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DRIVR Network - ICO - BOUNTY - Advanced A.I. Ride share platform on: March 12, 2018, 06:17:25 AM
It looks a difficult project to execute considering a lot of ride sharing web based products in the market...a challenge to crack

Yes, it is really difficult, I think this will be the first rideshare without a human driver, but nothing is impossible, this AI Driven cars will be one of the most amazing inventions in the history. Can't wait to see this operate.

Being a difficult project, the team of this project must focus and give all of their time for the success of this project. And I think they are not just doing their best, but they are doing all they can to make the impossible possible.
56  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Ready na nga ba talaga ang bansa natin? on: March 10, 2018, 12:33:16 PM
What do you think? It's the same as asking, ready ka bang maban ang cryptocurrencies sa bansa natin? I think Philippines is more than ready in crypotos, in fact more filipinos embraced it already. So imagine how will be the reaction of filipinos if bitcoin will be banned and if bitcoin will be embraced by this country?
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Start Trading on: March 08, 2018, 02:04:34 PM
Hey guys! I'm making this thread to help those guys who wants to start trading but don't know where to start. And if the higher ranks members of this forum want to share their ideas that will contribute to the knowledge of newbies please feel free to write a reply to this thread.

To start trading, you must first learn this things that are commonly used in trading
1. Candle stick reading-Learn how to read the Candle sticks chart because it is the chart that is used in movements of stocks in crypto.
2. The Support and resistance
3. Chart formations, Patterns and structure- this will help you whether to buy or sell, but keep in mind that rhis is not 100% accurate.
4. The technical indicators in the chart.

You can do your own research, Google, investopedia and youtube are the most helpful sources that can help you improve your knowledge in trading.

Read news, updates and background of the coins you want to trade with.

BUY LOW SELL HIGH and stay away from pishing sites!

I hope that this will be helpful!

Mostly I agree with you, first we should know about trade/ invest vocabulary ( stop loss, take profit, hold, etc ) if you don't understand never enter the market. Second, learn about indicator ( MA, MACD, RSI, etc ), just take one and understand how it works. Last one, psychology lesson ( patience, emotion control ). After that, practice until you find best strategy for you. That's all and have a nice day.

I agree with you, one of the hardest enemy in trading is your own self, your emotion basically. You have to be patient most of the time. One of the biggest mistakes of a trader is that when the coin value is against them, or falling just a bit, they are panicking. They are not waiting for it to pump so they are selling because they donwant further losses.

I can not wait for this project to launch anymore. I am so excited about this and everytime I visit this thread it gives me a thrill. I really want to see this project working and I hope that I can use this someday.
59  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DRIVR Network - ICO - BOUNTY - Advanced A.I. Ride share platform on: March 08, 2018, 04:01:38 AM
at what country  will be the 1st launching of this project?do you have  plan to extend  it in asia? in purchasing the drivr network token can we purchase it by fiat or we could use other crypto ?

I was hoping that it will launch in my country which is Philippines, because many of us are encountering drivers that making expensive rate,so i waiting for this project because it has a wonderful  platforms and they are using blockchain whis has a secured system to hold our money.

I totally agree with you, some drivers are abusing their passengers in terms of payments, but with this project, a car driven by an AI, the fare is just fair enough. This project is what I've been waiting for. I also hope that this will be available in our country.

This project really is one of the best projects right now, a drone cargo that was seemed so impossible but now will be implemented and all of the members are working for the success of this project. AI is now getting more popular. This project will be a huge success!
