41  Economy / Economics / Re: When everybody tell you take take risk with money on: June 26, 2021, 04:25:09 AM
A reasonable human won't just take advice from any random people and does as the person says without checking out for the advantage and disadvantage of what he is asked to do, it's based on choice! Someone gives you an advice to take a risk it's left for you to make the decision, you can't blame someone if there told you to take a risk and it didn't turn out well because there didn't force you to do so, there only gave you an advice and you didn't think or check the risk Involved before jumping in.

43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all altcoins dependent on Bitcoin? on: June 19, 2021, 08:29:15 PM
well most of the pump and dump of coins depend on bitcoin, but not all altcoins is like that and there are also some coins can be pump because it has good news even though the market crash
Altcoins follow bitcoin price movements, which altcoin? I would say literally all of them, remember the bitcoin crash in 2017? did any altcoin pump when bitcoin price crashed? No, even the bull run we had ethereum was pumping by August and October, but when bitcoin started pumped that was when everyone finally accepted that we are experiencing a bull run and that's when you start seeing greens in coins, same with the crash from $64k, every altcoin dumped, I think altcoin depend on bitcoin, my honest opinion though.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Meme Coin Will Survive Long on: June 19, 2021, 08:04:22 PM
Now a day hundreds of meme coins launching with too much supply and no use case so what do you think about meme coins and will some meme coins survive long or they will all runaway ?
What else were you expecting from a meme coin? they are just fun coins they can never have any use case or real application, so dogecoin pumped, there have been hundreds of meme coin launched on the market and so many of them only survive for a day or two, some usually dump massively after the launch, also one of the most annoying things with meme coins lately is their large supply,it's really funny how a trillion coin will worth just a few dollars Cheesy.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Money and happiness. on: June 18, 2021, 07:53:33 PM
Your very correct money helps people to live happily without having much things to worry about, tho it's said that money can't buy happiness but it can actually help to make you live happily. For example if you have enough  money you won't bother thinking of what to eat, money for house rent and all the rest, but a poor man who is pressed with alot of issues will always have mood swings and every little thing gets him upset. Even in crypto you become happy when you make gains and get sad when you lose.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Prices are low, time to buy some good coin!! on: June 18, 2021, 07:40:26 PM
Well the coins you listed are good and potential coins which is actually doing well in the market and since the market is in a dip this is a good time to buy up those gems and hodl till market retraces to the top because for sure it will fetch enough profit for those who bought during the deep. But most people this days do not believe in old coins instead there go for new coins with strong project because new coins gives more profit than the old ones but there are lots or risk attached.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i believe a person who said"my trust wallet get hacked" ? on: June 18, 2021, 07:31:45 PM
Trust wallet can't be hacked because the security system is  very strong and real secured, the only way a hacker or scammer can break through someone's wallet is when there have access to the wallet keys of that person, so it's either the person must have misplaced or share his wallet keys that's why he thinks that his wallet was hacked. So I will totally disagree if he says his wallet was hacked, he should be corrected and know trust wallet can't be hacked directly.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a bad time for altcoins? on: June 18, 2021, 07:14:32 PM
Well it's certain that some coins with good usecase lacks a promotional team members or marketers, so most people don't even know about this project because there ain't popular while on the other hand meme coin gots lots of shillers who will keep hyping this shit coin and make it get popular that people will start jumping in to make quick profit, this is is actually more reason why shit coins keeping pump real good but no back up at all just a little market crash the prices of most meme coin will start dumping excessively.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should I get a loan? on: June 17, 2021, 06:05:21 PM
Currently I have $109,750 in Bitcoin and $60k in alts.

I'm thinking of getting a loan to buy more alts now and more as Bitcoin goes down. The loan would be from my family and interest free. If the value of my cryptos drop I'm willing and able to wait up to five years to break even.

However, I could use some opinions first. What do you guys think I should do?
IMO you already have enough money invested in the crypto space, why do you still want to invest more? Even though the loan is from your family and interest free, don't you think you are going against this rule of "not investing what you can't afford to lose" putting all your eggs in one basket is very risky you know, what if bitcoin doesn't go up goes south after you invest everything in it, I think you should reconsider before going all in to avoid being unhappy lately on, the market won't always go up so it's not guaranteed that if you wait for 5years you will still get a profit out of your investment.
50  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you know when to sell? on: June 17, 2021, 05:55:07 PM
I know its an individual thing, but if you are in an alt and it is pumping...when is the best time to sell? I feel as though every-time I am in a coin that starts to make some good gain I leave it to long to sell..Anyone else do that. I heard it is because of greed, we star imagining all things we can do with our new profits, but the longer we leave it the more chance of not making good profits. Does anyone have a good strategy for knowing when to sell?
It's definitely an individual thing, knowing when to sell is very important in order not to lose out on the profit you have already made, I think the best way to know when to buy or sell a coin is through Technical analysis (T.A) , because with technical analysis you can predict the future price of a coin to an extent, even though it doesn't always go as planned since fud can come out anytime, doing a T.A will help alot in determining when to sell a particular coin.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meme coins have no use case on: June 17, 2021, 01:58:52 PM
Still wondering why people trusted Elon Musk so much and started buying dogecoin, in a couple of months crypto investors went from investing in projects with real use case to investing in meme coins and so many people got burned for it, buying a meme coin makes no sense to me honestly, meme coins are for fun nothing more, there's no incentive for it to pump aside people shilling it, I would rather buy a coin that has a real use case than investing in any meme shitcoin.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What features should a good altcoin project have? on: June 17, 2021, 01:38:41 PM
When starting an investment we should evaluate the altcoin project very well. Investigate if it have use cases, what the community is like, the rewards system and what initiatives it is developing. Which altcoin project in your opinion do we have to get involved with to make a profit y why?
The basic thing to look out for when investing is the use case of that coin, a coin that doesn't have a real use case which the community really needs isn't worth buying at all, because it won't survive the market pressure, aside that you should look to invest in projects that doesn't stop growing, meaning there's always something exciting coming up, projects that stop growing end up dying in the long run, but project with real use case and exciting road map keeps staying on top of the food chain.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying old coins: Is it worth it? on: June 16, 2021, 05:54:52 PM
Well I can possibly say some old coins are worth buying, there are old coins which really had good potentials and has really survived lots of bad times most of this new coins can give a very high profit and also a high lose as well, most of this new coins don't have strong potentials there are just been boosted by hype and bull run season, when the bearish season comes most of them will die off.
So I would suggest if you need quick profit go for new coins but if you want to stay very long and earn in future choose wisely from both old and new.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my crypto gains this not fair! on: June 16, 2021, 05:34:12 PM
This is sad but I just want to let you know that you are not the only one who lost to crypto because of this massive crash, but it's so bad most of us was taken unaware by the market crash, we were too greedy to take profit at the right time. I also lost alot, my portfolio got divided into three and I also got liquidated in most of my accounts which I used to trade futures. So bad this market crash rekt me deeply but there is still hope this year, there are lots of good news already coming in so we will surely see prices pumping again.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Altcoin Safe for Investment on: June 16, 2021, 05:25:37 PM
This is more reasons in which you should make a very good research about a project before investing in them, investing blindly on a project which claims to be successful and give you much profit is just like gambling because your investing based on luck, but if you always make researches, ask questions about the project in their official groups, check their back ups and hype there got. With a very good information acquired about a project you can easily conclude which project will turn out to be successful.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH sheep, buy now? on: June 16, 2021, 05:17:20 PM
You see my dear there is this  abbreviations which is called "fomo" this simply means fear of missing out, if you see a coin pumping and it has already pumped so high it's better your wait for price to retrace then you buy, but the fear of missing out will always push you to buy at a higher price which will in return will make you to panick sell when there is a correction in the market price, so it's better you learn how to control your emotions and also don't allow fomo to push you into taking wrong decisions.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin/ETH replace fiat someday? on: June 05, 2021, 08:40:25 PM
With the look of things I don't see cryptocurrencies replacing fiat, not at all! I think there both needs each other in this current state, cryptocurrency is been seen as an asset for investment and also an alternative currency which means it could be used in absence of fiat, we all know most government doesn't like cryptocurrencies, there actually sees it as a threat and there is actually so many limitations to which makes it very difficult for crypto to replace fiat currency. So it's just better we use crypto to enrich ourselves, make transactions with it and just stop thinking about replacement
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can BTC become the world central currency? on: June 05, 2021, 05:54:19 PM
Honestly speaking I don't see bitcoin becoming the global currency because it got so many limitations to why it can't actually be accepted as the world central currency, bitcoin is an alternative currency and also an asset for investment. Bitcoin can be accepted as a means of payments by many big investors and companies and can possibly be abducted in many countries but won't really replace fiat, most government won't even agree on giving up on their country's currency because there got full charge and control of it.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 04, 2021, 10:30:58 PM
Alot of noobs would have probably sold off their crypto bags in losses during the last dip, same with those people who buy whatever Elon Musk shills, In my case I think it's pointless selling off in losses, so instead I will be holding into my bags till the market recovers from the last crash, which as you said will take a months, cause there isn't any bullish news about bitcoin these days, starting to feel like the bull run has ended already, I just hope am wrong.
