Btw, the name of the project somehow also implies that crowdfunding is an aspect of it. Is that the case?
1 Billion KICK Tokens will be created. 660 Million tokens will be dedicated to crowdfunding (initial & future funding) while 340 Million tokens will be distributed among partners. Partner Tokens - include Bounty and Marketing, Advisers, Traditional Angel Investors (who invested in KickCity 2 years ago). 30% of the partner tokens will be vested. 160 million tokens will be distributed during the initial token sale. 500 Million tokens will be secured in KickCity foundation for future funding. If after 3-5 years, the company decides against future funding because it became profitable, then the secured 500 Million tokens will be destroyed. |

Try reloading the site and select load tokens and you should be able to change to STOX. |

In the whitepaper item 2.1 the last sentence says Sharpe will sell data to hedge funds in return for Sharpe token. Does that mean they need to buy it in the market and give to Sharpe? What does Sharpe do with these tokens?
The payment model as described uses SHP as an access fee for the cloud-based modelling infrastructure, not for the sale of data feeds, which is similar to the concept of gas in ETH. Access to this through SHP will come later than the data feed products. It's a complex framework to use and initially it will be focused on delivering value to sentiment participants by using it ourselves rather than developing it for hedge funds to use. Data feeds will be sold in exchange fiat, as this is what funds are accustomed to, although we'll happily accept crypto when the market matures enough for hedge funds, etc., to use it. |

Is there any mechanism to stop people from contributing from multiple addresses to get around any maximum?
Dynamic ceilings work to disincentivize individuals from multiple contributions. This is explained nicely in a blog post by Status https://blog.status.im/distribution-dynamic-ceilings-e2f427f5ccaTo further clarify the situation on KYC (know your customer), we will ask for each contributor's name, address, and telephone number. We do not require copies of ID or anything else. The only real mechanism to stop that would essentially be extensive KYC practices such as collecting photo ID's and passport. |
