41  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will FB Coin/JPM Coin Impact the Cryptocurrency Ecosystem? on: June 12, 2019, 04:06:22 PM
My ideal scenario would be that current crypto users boycott Facebook and Jp Morgan coin and stick with the decentralized options.  Unfortunately new users will definitely buy up anything with Facebook attached to it.
42  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why does your Country suck? on: June 12, 2019, 04:01:23 PM
Reading this thread I feel like crying. The oppression by the political and financial elites is the same all over the world and most time I am tempted to thing if something is seriously affecting human relationships that we did not know. I think, there is a serious conspiracy against the poor and the weak one in our society!

It is really depressing and its not like you can just go somewhere and try to create your own country.  According to a study Finland, Denmark, and Norway has the happiest people.  They have very strong social programs to help the less fortunate.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin evangelist John McAfee fears getting arrested or disappeared on: June 12, 2019, 03:46:41 PM
John Mcafee constantly lies and seeks attention but I'll admit that it is entertaining to follow him on Twitter.  Overall, I still think he has done more good than harm to crypto as he encourages more new users to buy in.
44  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why don't we set up capitalist and socialist communes to test which is better? on: June 12, 2019, 03:38:56 PM
As Techshare pointed out when we all lived in small villages we had a communal system and people were eager to help everyone.  When you know every person in your tribe you are emotionally connected to them.  Now people see their resources going to help outsiders and criminals and are against it.
45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Want to quit? Here's how on: June 12, 2019, 03:32:33 PM
Gambling is more accessible than ever before and it has made its way into video games.  Things like loot boxes, spins, or other random items in video games are essentially gambling.  Used to be much more difficult to become a gambling addict when you actually had to go to a casino to bet.

Durant will not be in GSW next year. They must use him today to compensate the 35M salary at least for a game. Durant must go next year to give more cap for Thompson, otherwise, GSW will lose  Thompson next year. One of them will stay in GSW next year.

And where will Durant go? Do you have any source for that?
I think that both Thompson and Durant can be in the line up. I don't agree that it is the one or the other. They can both give value in the team. However, I think that Durant is better not to play in the next match as he will be prolly out of shape.

Most rumors are saying Durant will most likely go to the clippers next year.  He already won in Golden State so he may want to establish himself again as the best player on a team instead of being in Curry's shadow.

I won't be surprised at all if the Warriors end up winning this series.

And just because something isn't a scam doesn't mean it won't fail.  Investing in new ideas and businesses is always very risky and you should never use an amount of money that you can't afford to lose.
48  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Support for the movement against mutilation of a baby girl on: June 11, 2019, 05:52:24 PM
The focus should be more on boys considering more of them are still being mutilated even in "the greatest country" United States.  It is a truly sick practice and they make facial creams out of the chopped off nerve endings, Oprah uses that stuff.  Absolutely disgusting and disturbing.
49  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: June 11, 2019, 05:44:29 PM
Doubt we will see another Leicesiter City type run again, that fluke was miraculous but the rich teams will continue to dominate.

I'm not sure how accurate this data is but Manchester United is the most valued team and it is placed at $4billion.

6 of the top 10 most valuable teams are in the EPL.
50  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Youtube starts campaign of mass censorship and demonetization on: June 11, 2019, 05:35:39 PM
And since there's a lag between slow government operations and corrections and the speed at which GoogleYoutube can make changes, they are starting now on their plan to influence the 2020 elections.

They will go all out to attempt to get their candidate to win, figuring that they can't be stopped in the time frame in which the election happens.

Assuming they succeed, they'll put into effect the plan they intended for 2016.

That's what we got.

Which is why capitalism is just dictatorship with more steps.

It's crazy how you all condemn the death of free speech and how it's just communism once again and it's just propaganda...

Well.. Yeah... That's what you get when a firm holds a complete monopole on something... And that's what happens when there is no regulation from the people. The best company slowly eats all the other ones and once they have the monopole they do whatever the fuck they want...

Capitalism anyone? That rings a bell? xD

Yes, free markets don't really exist in the technology sector in the current state of capitalism.  A few big players dominate the scene and we have companies like Facebook and Google that buy up all the other companies.  People like to hate on socialism/communism for the centralization of power but capitalism does indeed have the same outcome in many ways.
51  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is using 51% hashing power stronger than using 51% of the people? on: June 11, 2019, 05:26:44 PM
Even someone had the resources to do a 51 percent attack on bitcoin I doubt they would, all that would do is make the price of bitcoin plummet and make all their mining gear worthless.  It would have to be some type like Joker form The Dark Knight who isn't motivated by money.
52  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What stances from the opposite of your political spectrum do you support? on: June 10, 2019, 05:11:13 PM
I consider the current democrats and republicans to serve the same interests.  They are backing big corporations and billionaires, they both want big military and capitalism to rule all.  I consider myself neither of these.  I do like a lot of libertarian principles like no punishments for victimless crimes such as drug use.  However, I do not agree with their economic views because they want a system that exploits workers and rewards owners of capital that do little to no work.
53  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Progressive ideals are popular, until you mention the price! on: June 10, 2019, 05:06:04 PM
I've almost given up at this point and just waiting for this system to collapse to shambles.  I just don't see how so many people can be complacent with billionaires having total control over government.  It will be very interesting to see how things play out as technology keeps on improving and there is no longer a need for most human workers.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I need suggestion on: June 10, 2019, 05:00:43 PM
simple things you can do before deciding to invest in a number of altcoins that you will make as a form of investment by looking at the top 10 coins on the coin market and seeing the growth in trading volume on each coin you choose, so that itcan be used as an investment which can provide many benefits in the future
I don't get it. If you are only choosing from top 10 coins, why you still need to see which coin is better than others? Just divide your money and put in those 10 top coins and you should be fine.
Whats many benefits? The only one thing you and other people want from investment is seeing the price going up.

I don't think all the coins in the top 10 will survive though.  I really don't believe in projects such as EOS and Tron, they are basically worse versions of ethereum that are more centralized.  Stick with ethereum and bitcoin if you want to play it safe.
55  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any casinos that have a 0% house edge? on: June 10, 2019, 04:54:34 PM
I've played on some websites that let you bet against other players so it was 50/50 odds and they made their money off website advertisements.  That is a good business model and may grow rapidly in the future as players keep striving to get the best odds possible.
56  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Poker Player in the World? on: June 10, 2019, 04:49:51 PM
Lol at the suggestion that Negreanu is the best poker player in the world.  But if somebody was new to the whole scene, I'd understand why he would think that...  But no.  Negreanu is def not the best in the world.  There's not even an argument.

He is just one of the most famous because of his sponsorships and his charisma.  I only know a handful of professional poker players myself and him and Phil are the two biggest names on television.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: What’s the SINGLE most valuable benefit for you in Bitcoin and why? on: June 09, 2019, 05:06:04 PM
The biggest thing for me is being able to easily transfer money to people around the world without a 3rd party.  All it takes is a few clicks and your done.  But the downside is that you have to be extremely careful because there is no way to refund a transaction.  This isn't so much a problem for me but for a new user that normally uses credit cards this can be a b ig problem.
58  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Youtube starts campaign of mass censorship and demonetization on: June 09, 2019, 04:57:43 PM
Youtube is my the website I spend the most time on,  I wish there was a viable alternative but there really isn't.  Others have mentioned dtube but it heavily fails when put up against Youtube.  Some of my favorite creators already got demonetized by Youtube for speaking out against mainstream beliefs.  Anything they don't agree with is "hate speech" which is ridiculous.
59  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why does your Country suck? on: June 09, 2019, 04:46:50 PM
All those points you listed Timebits seem to be the same in the United States but I still think Canada is a much better place to live.

Marijuana is becoming much more accepted in America now and it won't be long until it is completely legal in every state.
60  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading stressful for you? on: June 09, 2019, 04:41:22 PM
I'm sure everyone gets a little bit of stress dealing with how unpredictable and crazy crypto can be.  If it is severely overtaking your health you should step back and take a long break. The key thing is to never get too greedy and take profits when its available.
