Quick warning to anyone switching out the PSUs. You must have at least 60a on a single rail for this to work. I have now blown four PSUs trying to get this thing working. It just swallowed up two 750w 53a PSUs.

Thanks for the info. Is there an easy way to determine this by looking at the specs for the psu?

Anyone have time to write up some instructions? with pictures

I'd be willing to donate

Can do. Possibly will take pictures of whole unboxing in our warehouse and make setup quides.
English not my main so i dont like to write too much.

Ordered with PSU gonna scrape them and replace with proper. Maybe initial tests with stock setup.
I have 8 units of 1250w Chieftec PSU:s that have single rail of 12v 102A. Our outside temprature in here is -18c -0F haha i possible place them in 5-10c ambient temperature warehouse. Was reading today in here about that guy in Australia who is running his KNC stuff in carage with outside temperature of 40c 108f  !!! wow i would die in that temp. Yes as a human i would die. Apparently KNC not..

I would be happy to proof read and correct your english  Smiley

Does anyone have any detailed info on how to plug in the power connectors?  Each board is labeled as having 1 ATX power connector, 1 EPS power connector, and 2 PCI-E power connectors (total of 2xATX, 2xEPS, 4xPCI-e)... but the plug for *both* the EPS and PCI-E connectors is a EPS plug. ??  Obviously you can't put a PCI-E power in there without forcing it, and they're not compatible anyways.  I really don't want to fry this thing...

How are these supposed to be connected?

I ordered mine with their psu(s?) so I could see how its connected and will probably swap in my own platinum supplies. I will post pics when I get it.

SCAMMER!

You have 3 posts and your 3rd one is claiming that a company is scamming? Did you purchase a machine? Did you get money or BTC taken from you. BTmine is slow to respond but has explained there actions. I don't know maybe you are someone who has been on this forum but decided that they needed a new account for some reason. I also noticed that it is your first post on this thread. Why are you coming in guns blazing with scamming acusations?

Its that miaviator loser again. Everyone put him on ignore so he just made a new profile so he could cry some more.

The mods should ban for this kind of behaviour.

How did you connect to slush's pool with a bitfury rig? Did you install the stratum proxy for Linux on the Pi?

just put the info in the admin, this is one card. Using the image file from megabigpower, zero mods to it (version 2)

48  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: [GUIDE] BitFury Miner Support/Tuning on: January 15, 2014, 02:32:31 AM
Please help.

I bought a used Bitfury rig (original M-board) that ran without problems for the last few weeks, mining bitcoin through BTC Guild.

Tonight, while the rig was running, I changed the pool configuration to the D7 mining pool (Peercoin) to see if it would work. Instead, the noncerate immediately went to 0. I restarted the Pi, changed the pool configuration back to BTC Guild, started the miner...and nothing happened. Noncerate is 0, Bank 1 is at 0, and BTC Guild is showing 0 for my worker. Stats.log is showing 0's all the way across, except for speed (all set at 55)

Did I somehow break the rig? Did I fry the board?

Please let me know what I can do. Thanks very much.

EXACT same thing happened to me, I changed to slush, works fine, tried bitminter, works fine. For some reason btcguild not working for me after I rebooted my rig.

I just got my new kit.  Kit #2 for me.  Have it all hooked up.
Tried to bring it up on my browser but it's not showing up.
I ssh into it to make sure the ip address is correct.  Which it is.  Also ran Advanced IP Scanner and that ip shows up as active with pi.
Rebooted a number of times.  Still won't show up.  Any thoughts?

did you set your nameserver to same as your gateway

ie

gateway 192.168.1.254
dns-nameserver 192.168.1.245

I have him on ignore. Its pretty cool first time I have ever used Ignore. Works great.

hey that is a cool feature, first time I did it too. The threads just got a lot shorter, and dryer with less crying  Cheesy

Well this is going the same as usual ASIC orders go....

Anyone considering purchasing, be sure to add the usual ASIC shipping delay timeline of 7 days to 13 months from the posted shipping day to your ROI calculations.

Btmine you have changed expected shipping days twice now, and both were over the 2 days in the original OP.  You are well aware days matter when mining.  I paid on the 6th.  I need a tracking number, or a refund by 11th - not promises or excuses.

'I NEED a tracking number' or else...lol does that usually work in other areas of your life?  Were you stomping your feet up and down when you wrote that?  Roll Eyes

Terrahasher posted a link to a PSU

It was $150 and id rather have a trusted PSU than some "what if" unit from them

Just my .02 cents

Agree, however I got one with psu so I can see how its hooked up, then I will probably swap in better psu as I have 5 seasonic modulars not being used

Terrahasher, HUGE thanks for this heads up!!

I suspect that paypal is VERY threatened by bitcoin.

I just sold off all my usb miners BUT i have about 8 orico 10 port hubs with psu that run 10 miners at once with no issues, lemme know if you are interested.

3 of them have brand new power supplies in original packaging, not even opened yet.

go with cheapest sapphire. I had the vrm blow on 3, yes 3, gigabyte 7970 so I no longer trust them. They were not over clocked and one was ONLY used for gaming and not even much gaming.

So far these guys ROCK! Very fast and clear communication.  Grin

Got confirmation of payment a few hours after paying and they also emailed within hours to request additional info I forgot to include in my email to them.

I am impressed. So far this has been a flawless transaction.
57  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Is it worth to buy a 3TH miner (10BTC)? on: January 08, 2014, 05:56:43 PM
IF you got it in 2 months it probably means all the other big hardware will also be out there hashing away also. I think it would NOT be worth it.

very nice, the other mockup looked like an out of control christmas tree, too many colours
60  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Do you think BlackArrow is going to miss Feb-24 timeframe it had given ? on: January 06, 2014, 01:38:30 PM
If I was blackarrow I would throw ALL my resources at getting product out the door. Once stuff starts shipping all these 'what if' threads will be nothing and people will then be trying to order and not asking questions.
