41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: June 14, 2018, 06:51:37 AM
The skycoin competition currently running on binance to see who can trade the most lists the top traders by their skycoin trading volume. As you can see below there's about 8 million skycoin traded just from the top 10 people. Over 3 million skycoin traded just from 1 person. According to coinmarketcap there are only 9 million skycoin in circulating supply. So what's going on with skycoin, are like 99% of the coins held in just a few hands? Same story as nearly every other coin, or am I missing something?? If im wrong i will delete this post because i like this project and synth.

44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / behold our new coin... CONSCRIPTION COIN on: May 20, 2018, 06:29:38 AM
It doesn't exist its just my idea.... So this coin will be used for conscription. But wait....there is a twist. Its centralized and controlled by "we the people" and we the people use this coin to send bankers to war for us. Its like the opposite of the real world we live in now. Its the upside down, bizzaro world. A beautiful world where bankers and stockholders of the federal reserve are conscripted and sent across the world against their will to underdeveloped poor countries and straight onto the battle field field. Who wants to see this happen in 2018!

Make conscription coin real: bc1qns4wcy8fqh6qkve67xva2sd2lwjrxql7rk8vn5

All KYC, public identity records, social profiles and work history will be uploaded through the skynet mainframe and channelled directly into the conscription coin algorithm to identify the most suitable bankers before WW3 Grin Grin Grin

I feel like you never understood money, banks and war unless you saw this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hfEBupAeo4&t=129s  feel like I learnt more in 43 minutes than my entire school life.
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / POS stake coins are made from thin air, worse than FED? on: May 20, 2018, 06:03:37 AM
how can proof of stake coins be sold and by whom? I mean it takes massive electricity and time to create/mine a bitcoin which in return gives it value, so then it can be sold. But with POS coins, how can people just from the start, completely create the total supply of coins and then they just sell them at whatever price they want? Aren't they just creating millions of dollars from thin air? And another problem how many people hold these POS coins, is it like 2 or 5 people selling them to the rest of the entire world?
46  Bitcoin / Electrum / found an online complex random word generator, better for creating private seed? on: May 20, 2018, 05:28:06 AM
I found this online website http://listofrandomwords.com/ which can generate random words from i think 10's of thousands of words, and where as electrum only chooses from a list of 1626 words as far as i know. And the words it generates are very complex and not often used where as electrum's words are simple and used everyday. So why doesn't electrum use more words or this program to generate the private seed?

54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Australians out there.....exchanges and fees to wire money? on: October 30, 2017, 07:12:32 AM
What overseas exchanges are Australians here using?
Second question; what methods of sending money are Australians using to buy bitcoins on foreign exchanges? Credit card fees are usually around 5%, and international wire transfers around $40, is there a cheaper way to wire funds overseas from Australian banks?

https://quoinex.com/   loook like they accept AUD, anybody have experience with them?

56  Economy / Exchanges / bitfinex USD Wire Deposits Paused on: October 25, 2017, 02:18:50 PM
"USD Wire Deposits Paused.
Wire deposits have been paused. Please see bitfinex.com/posts for further updates. "

this is what happens when you try to deposit USD. So does this mean that you cannot wire any money to bitfinex now, and if so, anybody have any idea when they will resume, if ever?
57  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: can you buy bitcoin from any exchange? on: October 19, 2017, 02:35:22 PM
oh really, so if i only have an Australian bank account and docs i can still buy bitcoins with my Australian dollars on kraken, coinbase, gemini etc?
58  Other / Beginners & Help / can you buy bitcoin from any exchange? on: October 19, 2017, 01:51:31 PM
So if you have an Australian bank account does that mean you can only buy bitcoin on an Australian exchange like; https://www.btcmarkets.net/ or https://www.coinjar.com.au/

What if i want to open an account on coinbase, kraken or something can i only do that if im from the US and have all the required docs, ID, proof of address etc, or will they accept docs from any country?

These are 3 Australian exchanges i know of, any recommendations for me who is just starting bitcoin now... as the ship sails away and i swim after it..
https://bitcoin.com.au/
https://www.coinjar.com.au/
https://www.btcmarkets.net/
https://www.coinloft.com.au/

Or is it better to not use exchanges and just use https://localbitcoins.com/
59  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where, how do you store 1169 different Cryptos offline? on: October 14, 2017, 12:30:06 PM
coinomi supports about 70, exodus seems to support a lot too http://support.exodus.io/article/96-exodus-wallet-roadmap
but its still only supporting just the top 20 or so coins.
So that must mean that unless all these people are using paper wallets (and i doubt it) these people buying all these alt coins are storing them on online exchanges?? There's no other way right?
60  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where, how do you store 1169 different Cryptos offline? on: October 14, 2017, 09:27:58 AM
oh really so do you mean that a paper wallet can store basically any coin from conimarketcap?
