Of course it will survive, but the question is - which form it will get? I mean in 100 years probably BTC are not going to be the most popular currency, maybe it would be ETH or something else. But as a code it will exist.

You just have to tell them a story using simple words, like notebook, money, inscription, stealing, defence etc. That is ho i understood the whole point of bitcoin.

I used to use it back in time whtn bitcoin was 700$ maybe. Stille remember how i changed all my bitcoins into US$. Now i decided only to invest and buy altcoins ot it. Future will show anyway

There is no point to wait, because BTC goes up and up. Every time i hear how people say that the price is too high, but it doesnt matter guys, take it and keep!

Like it depends of your needs. If you want to buy bitcoin of course it matters. But in general i dont think so.
