Hey there
In june & July I bought Digibyte & Stratis & Siacoin with all my bitcoins, till now I lost almost 80%
What can I do, HOLD or Sell or What!
Many found themselves in a similar situation. I also have Sia, Stratis and DGB. I'm not going to fix the loss in bitcoins. If you've waited 3-4 months, then wait. These coins are a good investment. I believe that in the next 2 months you will be a plus, at least in dollar terms. |

Trade the current alts with the BTC wave like when BTC prise increases start selling your alts and buy them again at lowest again when alts have a boom sell at top utilise every wave to make 20% of remaining BTC in alts slowly to 100% this can sure happen which happened for me will happen to you be keen in market movements especially BTC

I suffered the same, as have many people I guess.
What i've done is realign my portfolio by cutting my losses on some of the worst performing alts that i'd lost long-term faith & investing that money in better performing alts while trying to slowly trade my way into recovering the losses. I've still kept some heavy bags on a few alts tho, like Sia for example.

It is probably not a bad idea to give your coins to someone that knows how to trade.

That sound funny... but, it's true in some cases. If there is a risk in losing everything, it's best to seek advice or let a more experienced trader or investor take control, atleast for a while or until you understand crypto better! |

I will not say you have lost if you do not sell, only when you sell will you say you have lost. all you have to do is to hold on to it, with time you will see that you are not loosing anything. good luck in your holding.

You invested in altcoins, when they were falling down. Now Bitcoin is at new height so your investment is in loss. Now you should buy more altcoin to average your buying. And you will have to hold for another two years to get more benefit.

Loosing is a common in trading. You loss due to lack of knowledge I think .You have to get through top to bottom of coin which you like to inverse. It may be any of coins, you have to analysis when to inverse and what time you have to inverse. To Avoid the loss you have to get through it. |

Weren't all these coins called by suppoman in the summer? Don't listen to that buffoon, he's an idiot. I'm becoming more and more suspicious of most of these Alt shillers. Lost quite a bit of money trying to trade alts over the summer. Now I'm just doing buy and hold. Mainly BTC, with a bit of alts on the side. Check out CombiCoin (by Triaconta), it's kind of a fund of different alt-coins. Has outperformed (30% gains in one month) most coins, with less volatility. |

The best advise I can give to you is selling all and buy bitcoin. If you still holding that you could lose all. In this situation, it's really hard to tell because they could recover but they could not. My opinion is only to invest in bitcoin. Only use 20% of your bitcoin to atls

Yes, this thread is were all the sadnesses of cryptos is converging to. You can't say you have been living cryptos if you didn't go thought these dark phases where all your money seems to have vanished, shrinked in its value heading towards nothingness. Since you are left with 20% of you initial capital and BTC price is going up, better convert it for now with BTC because most of the times when BTC is up, alts price goes down. When the coast is clear, you can start trading again but be very careful in selecting where to put your BTC. I have always advised to those who ask for tips to be happy with small profits at least your BTC is growing, unlike aiming for big profits but you are ending up holding a bag of coins with high price because the price dropped.

if u see that coins have potensial for future better hold it, but if want to recover ur cutlose, u should sell it and trade with potensial coin before u choose alt, learn about that, are potensial or not? |

The recent bitcoin's forks drama continue, and bitcoin is pumping up again, so I think altcoins will go down in recent weeks. Maybe the price of Bitcoin will drop soon and altcoins will go up.

if u see that coins have potensial for future better hold it, but if want to recover ur cutlose fast, u should sell it and trade with potensial coin before u choose alt, learn about that, are potensial or not? Just save it. If you lose your btc its worth it because sometimes altcoins can give you a lot of money. You just have to be patience with crypto because all their coins are unstable so don't forget that. You can also sell it to recover your loss but you would lose a lot if you do that. |
