42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is bitcoin legal??? on: May 08, 2018, 07:52:14 AM
Bitcoin is of interest to law enforcement agencies, tax authorities, and legal regulators, all of which are trying to understand how the cryptocurrency fits into existing frameworks. The legality of your bitcoin activities will depend on who you are, where you live, and what you are doing with it.

I think the bitcoin  depends on which country you are, at present most of the countries to hold the bitcoin and trade bitcoin is not illegal, but there are a few small countries is banned the bitcoin trading, is really a pity. The government should legalize bitcoin and take taxes of their transactions.

44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralized coins on: May 07, 2018, 04:12:48 AM
Do you think there is a room for centralized coins such as Ripple win over Bitcoin and Ethereum ? What is the good part about centralized coins against the decentralized ones ?

It think it is not about win or lose.Bitcoin's purpose is different, and same goes for Ethereum and Ripple.
The difference between centralized and decentralized cryptocurrencies are that the former is more attractive to people who believe in banks/government/centralized control, etc. So, it only perception. It is my opinion.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: Is banking still important in the bitcoin era? on: May 07, 2018, 01:29:14 AM
Financial technologies such as bitcoin, P2P lending and crowdfunding are just beginning to take off, and businesses involved in the industry pose little immediate threat to traditional commercial banks. Banks, after all, the country's economic lifeline, so I think the bank is still very important, do you think?

Yes, I think. The bank is still very important. Banks are still used by many people and are still useful and anything that is used and useful will remain important for as long as they continue to be the same. and the "bitcoin era" doesn't have to change that. a bank is a financial institute that gives certain services for money and bitcoin is a new form of money so they can simply change the type of services they are offering. The banks still be used to lending and short term saving.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good buying price for bitcoin? on: May 06, 2018, 12:09:08 AM
Is it a good buying price for bitcoin?Might cross-border activity often lead to better demand for bitcoin? So bitcoin will do better in the second half of the year. What do you think?

yes I think, when the price is low . it is the right time to buy it.while the price is rising and regaining at the market, you can sell it.
47  Economy / Economics / Re: A government can create a cryptocurrency ? on: May 06, 2018, 12:02:18 AM
What do you think about this possibility ? Would you invest in your government currency ?

It is possible. I think the crypto is the future technology, The government should follow it. they can create a new crypto or legalized the crypto.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: what affects the price? on: May 05, 2018, 11:40:22 PM
bitcoin slowly went down this year, from almost 20k USD last December and went down at a significant price

what might be the reason why bitcoin's price is going down?
what are the major things that can greatly influence bitcoin?
answers would be fully appreciated Smiley

I think, Its mostly demand and supply that affects the price, but when it comes to bitcoin the price is manipulated by the whales by creating two conditions according to their needs, hype and panic. By doing this they become successful in controlling the price. but, it need a big money to controll the price
49  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin become a long-term trusted store of value? on: May 02, 2018, 09:39:51 AM
Whether one should invest in bitcoin or not depends on whether you think Bitcoin will become a long-term trusted store of value.
If it does become a long-term trusted store of value, BTC should trade around $2,000,000 a coin (depending on how many coins are lost and are actually in circulation). That is over 100x the price of where BTC is today.
If BTC does not become a long-term trusted store of value, its likely price will be close to zero (unless it becomes a "cool" collectible... which is a possibility).
So if you think BTC has a 10% chance of becoming a long-term trusted store of value, it is a good investment with a nice expected return. It is still very risky but professional investors should invest some small portion of their portfolio in this case.

off course. I believe that Bitcoin become a long-term trusted store of value. bitcoin is the future technology, it will exist for along years. it is a good investment.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: May 01, 2018, 12:32:28 AM
Seems like most people just want to become super rich in a short period of time.
If you don't believe in this new technology, and just want to earn quick money, I think you will probably not achieve what you want.
All I want to say is be patient, live your life, and don't get too emotional by all the negative news/FUD. Yes, crypto might be ended in a really bad way and you lose most/all your money. But if you truly believe in the new technology, just invest the projects you like the most and hold until it gets mature and returns.

it is true, the crypto currency is the new technology. it will exist for along year. I believe it, you will see in the future the cryptocurrency will helpful.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Cryptocurrency on: May 01, 2018, 12:17:13 AM
Have you heard that telegram created an internal cryptocurrency ? Imo this is the next big trend, I believe that amazon, google and facebook will follow that in the future, and Bitcoin will be dethroned

I think it is  good news. If telegram, amazon, google facebook etc create crypto currency, it will effect the crypto market.  Crypto Currency is the future currency. so, they should create or accept crypto coin.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: April 30, 2018, 04:06:45 AM
In the next year ETH will overtake BTC as the number 1 cryptocurrency.  I would unload your bitcoin while you still can.

53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When is a good time to buy? on: April 30, 2018, 03:55:26 AM
I bought a bunch BTC when it was $17000, then bought a bunch when it is $14000...then the price dropped until 2 days ago. I bought a bunch again when it was 6000ish...haha, now the price went up...so, really, when is it a good time to buy? When it dropped for a while and it rose a little bit, then drop again, then buy?

by seeing the condition of market today, I think it is the best time to buy it. you should hold your coin  mate. wait until the market will rise, believe it. it will happen  soon.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Why BTC is having a high price? on: April 30, 2018, 03:36:06 AM
It was below 1k last year beginning. But from the mid year prices started to explode! What's the reason behind these price rise?

In my opinion, the bitcoin has high price because the demand for it is very high. Normally for anything which has high demand has high price.
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold on: April 30, 2018, 03:02:59 AM
From an investment point of view, bitcoin is more about gold than it is about other currencies. That's because as an asset, bitcoin and gold have a lot in common. Both are limited to supply, both have functions to use, and many believe that, despite their large price fluctuations, they remain a good store of value. Compared to gold and currency investment returns in the past five years, the currency's performance is far better than the so-called precious metals, gold year loss than 6%, the currency of the annualized rate of return is 155%. These rich returns show that bitcoin has excited investors about the prospect of putting money into such a new asset class.

Compared with the gold standard, the value of the currency rising and proven performance, investors can be used to measure the investment of the world's leading digital currency future opportunity and risk indicators.

I think, Bitcoin and gold is two difference thing. the gold is the legend of investment. it is so popular. the bitcoin is the future crypto currency, bitcoin is the best payment system. it is a digital, Bitcoin is the future technology. it is so popular too.
56  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really anonymous? on: April 25, 2018, 07:34:38 AM
Bitcoin is not really anonymous because others can see the wallet address when send and receive bitcoin but they can't see your identity, password and private key.

I agree, bitcoin is not really anonymous, its pseudo -anonymous. If you do transactions only your address and how plenty bitcoin you use will be seen in all bitcoin network. it is my opinion.
57  Economy / Economics / Re: Panic selling can contribute to bitcoin price going down? on: April 25, 2018, 02:42:20 AM
I need some opinion if panic selling can contribute of rapidly drop of the bitcoin price. If it is right how can we convince to the bitcoiners to not doing panic selling.

dont panic, If you are panic selling can contribute  of rapidly drop of bitcoin price. be patient, the price will go up. I believe it.
58  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a better payment system? on: April 25, 2018, 12:55:54 AM
The answer is that it often is not, at least for most people, most of the time. Eventually it will be the best payment system, but it needs to develop further, gain more adoption, and get over the scaling obstacles. Even so, Bitcoin is already the best payment system for certain use-cases, such as sending money across borders, or receiving money from someone you don't trust (which helps further in cross-border transactions).

yes, it is true. I think bitcoin is the best payment sistem, it is better than real money. it is the best crypto today.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Ethereum on: April 24, 2018, 09:56:01 PM
If you compare the two main cryptocurrency, namely Bitcoin and Ethereum, which one has the most promising future?
In terms of evolution, Bitcoin reached a maximum of roughly 4800$, whereas Ethereum reached roughly 394$: in other words, it is a potential increase of 33 % for Ethereum, but only 24% for Bitcoin.

I prefer choose , because bitcoin is more popular than ethereum. the second choice is ethereum. I like both.
