41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too much crypto payment projects but little people accepting crypto payments on: April 25, 2019, 09:13:05 AM
Indeed, there are too many cryptocurrency payment projects and still few of people accepting them as cryptocurrency payment gateways. This may because of the issue of legality and regulation unlike Paypal. But the adoption is slow but surely will be massive in the near future and only crypto payment platform that truly meet the market needs and the consistency of the team in developments will survive.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would Ethereum remain the number 1 smart-contract platform in 2020 and onward? on: April 24, 2019, 04:45:25 PM
It is not impossible that other platform will pursue ethereum as the number one smart contract platform in the future. But each developer of the platform such as EOS, Cardano, or Tron strives and continues to develop to meet the increasingly stringent market needs and solve the current issues on the blockchain.
Literally in blockchain and crypto space, ethereum still the main option as its decentralized with huge number of community around the world.
43  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is $25 XLM worth your privacy (identify). on: April 24, 2019, 11:47:45 AM
$25 airdrop is absolutely not worth with our identity. It is different when it comes to exchanges that require KYC for its customers. Ones must submit identity in order to be able to trade and withdrawal in certain amount of cryptocurrencies. Nevertheless, data leaks may possible happens to any exchanges and every system has its weakness so I think it is a consequence for any circumstances. But again, KYC for airdrop worth of $25 is unreasonable.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry We are Closed on: April 23, 2019, 09:57:58 AM
I think more exchanges are better. We know that cryptocurrency and blockchain tech is still in emerging state. Existing and new exchanges should be welcomed as a competition to develop the better exchange to serve the community globally. There must a reason why an exchange is closed as well as some exchanges that may have fake volume in it. But that's  the reason users should be aware, doing research and choose which exchange to trade.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will ICO's do with those unsold tokens? on: April 23, 2019, 06:04:17 AM
Some ICOs will burn the unsold tokens and it is good that by this way, the total supply will decrease while it may increase the token price. But some other ICOs airdropped the unsold tokens instead of burning the tokens. It depends on the result of the ICOs whether the team decide to burn or give them to the community.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: April 22, 2019, 03:58:15 PM
Some legit and prospect altcoins do have chances to recover from the downtrend market along with the developments. So I think holding will be an option to gain profit. But for some other altcoins with no developments or seemed to fail projects, better sell fast.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad? on: April 22, 2019, 08:36:01 AM
In my opionion, regulation for ICOs is a good option especially to prevent scam projects. The background and identity of team and developers should be clear and must not have bad track records. With this option, investors and public will see this as a legit project and safe to invest.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binance Chain a treat to Ethereum? on: April 21, 2019, 03:41:15 PM
I don;t think Bnb will replace ethereum in the near future. We don't know what kind of development these platforms will become in the future. So I think both has a chance to become better and it is possibel that bnb can surpass ethereum one day.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mandatory live video for project developers or team on: April 21, 2019, 01:06:06 PM
I think it is a good idea though I don't the team or.devs.will do this. If the project is legit, you can notice by their activities such as attending some events, record or live video during the events and other events that showing the team and developers are real. I think we can ask them to post these on their social medias so people will see the project is serious and legit..
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: April 20, 2019, 03:21:24 PM
Team profiles background is one of the very important points we should research. Without the information of the team, it is really difficult to believe the project is legit now. Keep watching the project progress by following its social medias, telegram chat to see the devs are actively communicate with the community.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you guys read daily crypto news? on: April 19, 2019, 05:09:50 PM
Hmm.. quite often for me. I have an app on my phone that includes crypto and blockchain news update, so I will get notifications daily or whenever there is a news update. Sometimes I read when it has an interesting title.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Ethereum POS will be implemented?? on: April 19, 2019, 06:34:12 AM
The parties that will be most affected are miners and investors. Therefore, I think the implementation of PoS has not been implemented due to the above factors other than other factors. However, Constantinople has been carried out and is underway with other developments. It looks like Casper update is still delayed.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AIRDROPS ASKING FOR KYC VERIFICATION on: April 18, 2019, 09:01:58 AM
Mostly airdrop gives only a small amout of tokens that yet to know the excact price. Most only worth of tens of dollar and even have no value. I don't think it is worth for KYC which hand over our personal information for a couple bucks.

55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Best Ethereum Wallets online in 2019 on: April 18, 2019, 06:10:39 AM
Myetherwallet combined with metamask still the best option for altcoins and erc tokens untill now in my opionion. But stay alert with phishing sites that are similar to the original site.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Cofounder: ETH to Rise 1000x and Become Global Settlement on: April 16, 2019, 01:56:16 PM
Joseph Lubin, the cofounder of Ethereum, believes Ethereum will rise 1000x - implying a price of over $150,000 for ETH - and will become a global settlement layer. I think this view is overly optimistic, but Ethereum is likely to still be around in 2025.

https://www.newsbtc.com/2019/04/10/joseph-lubin-ethereum-eth-will-be-a-global-settlement-layer-and-prices-rise-1000x/

What do you think?
I think it is indeed over optimistic. Though it still possible, but when it is happened, bitcoin and other altcoins price should be risen as well like the last bull run.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BEWARE OF IEO on: April 15, 2019, 03:13:54 PM
Well I think the IEO or ICO have the same risk. There is no quarantee the token/coin that being offered on the exchange/IEO will be a successful project or has high price. There is even a possibility that prices will be controlled by whales due to recent IEO hype as the OP mentioned. I think everyone should be smart before making decision.

58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should stop promoting ICOs who ask huge money for their soft/hardcap! on: April 14, 2019, 03:10:00 PM
Softcap and hardcap can not be an indicator of a failed or success project with valuable price in the market. The amount of the soft/hard cap depends on what project the ICO is going to do and we can evaluate the value is reasonable or not.  But it is can be an initial sign for us to learn more and do our dilligence to research the project.
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: negative views about Bitcoin always come! on: April 13, 2019, 03:18:58 PM
I think people who have negative views because they don't understand what bitcoin is and the technology that brings it. There is also the possibility that the person has a bad experience with Bitcoin because they are new to Bitcoin, for example, once bought and tried to invest when Bitcoin was booming, especially in times when the price of Bitcoin soared. And suddenly the price dropped.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are centralized exchanges still dominating the crypto space? on: April 13, 2019, 12:54:54 PM
Apart from better performance and more features, I think the main reason is because the centralized exchange provides an option to trade to fiat and withdrawal to local bank accounts.
Some large exchanges often even do various ways to attract traders to trade in their exchange such as promotions, giveaways, trading competition etc. Thus, the interest of traders is more active in the CEX than DEX.
