41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices, are you excited about the situation? on: July 12, 2018, 03:00:33 PM
If you are traders,  then you must get excited about the market's situation now since it's a great chance to buy the coins you want. Whereas for the investors, it's a horrible situation where they are so much worried about losing their investment. Personally,  I'm one of those who are afraid of losing my digital assets since the value is getting down now,  but I  believe it won't last long. The market will recover soon.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum under $400 will be a good buy or ? on: June 15, 2018, 06:13:40 PM
Never, ever, ever put all your money in at once. Trade to create positions. You may get some higher you may get some lower. When it goes lower, buy more, when it goes higher, buy less. Dont chase the highs, buy the dips and always try to lower your dollar cost average.
43  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Criminals and Bitcoin on: June 15, 2018, 05:48:08 PM
I think so.  It's not the bitcoin that belongs to crime,  but the doers or people who misuse bitcoins that make bitcoin a part of the crime. The criminals are using Bitcoin as a cash substitute. That makes bitcoin associated with criminals.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoin is better than bitcoin? on: June 15, 2018, 05:38:05 PM
I think altcoin will become better than Bitcoin is if it becomes more secure and at the same time offer larger scalability. It seems to me that bitcoin will still be the king of cryptocurrency for the next five to ten years. People still believe to invest in bitcoin since the pairing system at the moment, we can only buy cryptocurrencies with either BTC or ETH.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin down, altcoin rise. why? on: June 13, 2018, 09:59:34 PM
When the Bitcoin price falls or rises, all the altcoins will usually follow. This is because all altcoin prices are based on their Bitcoin exchange rate. However  they don’t always move together. Sometimes we see Bitcoin drop when the altcoins rise. This is caused by investors pulling their money out of Bitcoin and rushing into rising altcoins. This wave can go back and forth over a short period of time.
46  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: June 13, 2018, 03:51:26 PM
It absolutely can but it is completely dependent on network effects. If large corporations start adopting and accepting crypto as payment, it will change the entire economy.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth? on: June 13, 2018, 02:54:44 PM
Yes, it's a good time to buy and invest in ethereum. Now the price drops to $500,  and you can consider ethereum as a long term investment. Ethereum is high in demand and millions of people are eager to buy Ethereum.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters should be paid in ETH on: June 09, 2018, 10:49:01 PM
Maybe it's going to be a happy news for bounty hunters,  but not for the ICO team. If the bounty hunters are getting paid in Ethereum,  then the tokens or coins that the team is trying to promote will be useless.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin future on: June 09, 2018, 10:33:55 PM
I don't know which altcoins you hold because most of altcoins  will fail and only few that will survive. If you mean litecoin, ripple, ethereum, they’re too big and well established to disappear completely. The other smaller coins pose a much harder question as it relates to their longevity. So,  just sell your altcoins if you don't believe enough in their future potential.
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty campaign - waste of time or great passive income? on: June 08, 2018, 10:41:07 PM
Joining bounty truly wastes our time but surely gives great passive income. I believe by looking at the team working behind the program,  we can get a trusted bounty program.  Besides it’s important to have a research or second opinions  from others before joining a bounty.
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin? on: June 08, 2018, 10:36:02 PM
On short term, it's very low. And on long term,  it's high.
Small but not impossible, bitcoin is the biggest because it was first and better branding than the other cryptos. It’s not necessarily the best crypto since others have faster transaction times, can handle more transactions per second and have lower fees but are lesser known. I think replacement will not happen over night, but gradually. As for now Bitcoin still reigns the crypto world, so it will still take a few years until it will be replaced by a better coin.
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is etherium good for long term on: June 02, 2018, 10:16:28 PM
Ethereum has over 10,000 developers working on projects on it worldwide. They are the choice of hundreds of major corporation in the Ethereum Enterprise Alliance. The Ethereum network processes more transactions than all other blockchains put together. In addition,  Ethereum is not just a cryptocurrency but it is a platform for creating smart contracts and blockchain based apps. So,  it's pretty clear that ethereum is a good for long term investment.
53  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: future of crypto ? on: June 02, 2018, 09:18:37 PM
I think the idea of crypto is that we will not need banks anymore. If crypto gets bigger, more scalable and more widely accepted it can be used for payment and you won't need a bank. What would you want to use a bank for?

I think cryptocurrency won't replace bank. Although crypocurrency has many potentials, replacing banks aren’t one of them. They may aid banks, or do other things that banks cannot, but replacing banks is not on their short-term agenda. In the long-term, yes, but nobody’s even close to preparing for that yet. There are too many powerful people involved for that.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Altcoin price depend on BTC or ETH?? on: June 01, 2018, 09:16:57 PM
I think so. Most altcoin pairs are versus bitcoin, and besides that, most of them are purely speculative, so most traders use altcoins to maximize their bitcoins reserve.
I think the only reason we trade altcoins is to get more bitcoins because we can't convert directly to USD.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ethereum reach the top? on: May 31, 2018, 02:37:32 PM
I still believe in bitcoin although it's price going down. Bitcoin remains the most popular cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is considered the gold of the crypto-currency space although many speculate that Bitcoins days are over, time after time, it came back to surprise us with its rapid and rather dramatic increase in price. Bitcoin is still considered and will be for a while longer the leading crypto-currency due to its already established demand.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with the rewards you received? on: May 31, 2018, 02:12:35 PM
I hold them. The first time we receive the tokens, it usually has a low price and listed on a small exchange which is I believe that's not the right time we sell the tokens right away. It's better to wait for a better and higher price,  and of course a good exchange. I believe by holding and waiting patiently,  we can get a better price for the tokens.
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can market go down now? on: May 26, 2018, 09:20:26 PM
Anytime the market can go down. Until now there's no significant signal or positive sign that shows market continuously to increase. It seems that the market easily turn to red and hard to turn to green, but it tends to be red than green.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell right away or wait? on: May 23, 2018, 01:43:27 AM
To get more profits, I prefer holding mine and wait for the higher price although sometimes it will take a long time. However I also sometimes sell my bounty rewards right away since I am facing an emergency situation where I extremely need money. If I could suggest, you'd better hold yours for a higher price because I believe the longer you hold, the more profits you may get later.
59  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is banned by the government on: April 21, 2018, 10:58:45 PM
The governments ban bitcoin since there are perceived threats such as
1.domestic policy
2.tax compliance
3.monetary supply controls
4.special interests
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH next to BTC? on: April 21, 2018, 09:20:26 PM
I think Ethereum has much greater potential than Bitcoin in terms of sheer utility and market capitalization. In addition, there are some possibilities where Ethereum as a cryptocurrency may explode in Value like how Bitcoin did and there reasons alike that prevent it from doing so. Ethereum is a blockchain which has tremendous capabilities in comparison to the Bitcoin Blockchain.
