42  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Importance of Masters Degree ??? on: January 21, 2018, 01:44:46 PM
A master's degree can open many career doors, including certain career fields, advancement opportunities, and higher salaries. Careers that may require a master's degree include special education teacher, counselor, college professor, advanced practice nurse, school administrator, occupational therapist, and speech-language pathologist. So yes of course! It is important in many ways. Wink
43  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are you in favor of same sex marriage? on: January 21, 2018, 01:42:10 PM
It is wrong at any level No men are born gay, it's only in their mind that other similar gender were supposed to be their partner. This is a psychological problem with men facing insecurities and marginalized throughout their life. Freedom? Marriage is not a freedom, you can't marry more than once, you have a responsibilities and commitment in it therefor it brings a strong foundation as to where your purpose is going to be in marriage.
44  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: January 21, 2018, 01:37:50 PM
For longer-term goals, you may want to consider investing because inflation can seriously affect the value of cash savings over the medium and long-term.
The stock market tends to do better than cash over the long-term providing an opportunity for greater returns on any money invested over time.
45  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it possible that facebook will be replaced? on: January 21, 2018, 08:29:11 AM
With Facebook acquiring over a billion active users since its launch date in 2004, it is not impossible, but very difficult to surpass this website unless you have something super different and demanded. I mean super demanded and unique from what it already is, especially since Facebook holds so many different options and services such as Messenger, its ownership of Instagram, Facebook Live, and now stories such as Snapchat.
46  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: January 21, 2018, 06:57:57 AM
The very best method to saving money is to create a Spending Plan or a Budget and earn how to make a budget. With a budget you figure out what your income is and what your expenses are. Once you know these two things, you can look for ways to reduce your expenses or increase your income to allocate an amount of money that you can afford to save. This is how the world’s largest corporations do it and this is how most of the world’s successful business people do it. This method takes a little bit of work at the beginning and a check-up every year or two, but it works.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting paid to post at Bitcointalk ? on: January 21, 2018, 06:05:44 AM
According to what i have read, signature campaigns are the simplest of ways to earn bitcoins on BitcoinTalk. Newbies or users with negative trust cannot participate in signature campaigns. The minimum rank required is junior member, qualification is being active on BitcoinTalk. Once you have enrolled into a sig campaign, just do what you have been doing, posting and commenting, but this time you will get paid for each of your posts. There are some legendary and hero members who are earning anywhere between 0.05 to 0.1 BTC per day from signature campaigns. If you are a junior member then you will get about 7000 to 10000 satoshis per post based on the site you are promoting. Usually, gambling sites have higher rates. Keep in mind, you are getting paid to promote a site through your comments, but that does not give you the license to spam around.
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: January 21, 2018, 05:58:31 AM
Strategic thinking and asset judgment is needed in order to decrease chances of entering in bad asset in investing in ICO, no person can decrease risk to 0, but you can decrease risk of failure a lot by strategically picking the asset apart with correct thinking and plan.
49  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to get girls when you're not handsome? on: January 21, 2018, 05:52:51 AM
The single factor that helps more than any other isn't looks or wealth, it's confidence. Personal security is a big plus, too. If you're confident and secure, you will have far more success than a person who is handsome and rich but who lacks confidence and is insecure.

The first thing you do is understand you don't have to be handsome or rich. Being handsome and rich will help attract superficial women, but it's not necessary to attract women generally.
50  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: January 21, 2018, 02:34:04 AM
According to what i have read, war and violence may be some of the primary causes of poverty.  Political violence and organized crime have affected 39 countries since 2000, in those countries the poverty level is twice that of non-violent countries. These two items, poverty and violence may also feed themselves. When asked why young people joined gangs and rebel groups in half a dozen countries, two thirds of the respondents said that unemployment was their main reason, only one tenth cited a belief in the cause
51  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VIRGINITY before getting married on: January 21, 2018, 02:30:02 AM
Since ages, people are following the concept that virginity is the gift from the two partners after their marriage. However, in the present world, the concept is changing. It is more of a personal preference and choice what the partners want. The only thing is that the decision should be made with due consideration. In any case, it should not hinder the happiness and peace of your life.
52  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why people are unhappy? on: January 21, 2018, 02:27:05 AM
Most people are unhappy then because they cannot experience completion.  Always there are new and higher standards to meet.  Inevitably, there is unfinished business.  Everyone is urged to move forward, but no one knows if they have already reached their destination or if that end-point is years ahead.
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a Ponzi scheme? on: January 21, 2018, 01:57:51 AM
It's hard to tell whether Bitcoin is more like Ponzi scheme or a pyramid scheme. Whatever it is, though, it isn't a currency. It's a tech stock. Each Bitcoin is really a share in a system that seems to make it cheaper to transfer things online money, stocks, bonds, even the deed to your house by cutting out the middleman. Well, kind of. Bitcoin doesn't remove the middleman so much as replace him with middlemen who don't make you pay much, but make society as a whole do so instead.
54  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin really secure on: January 20, 2018, 03:26:31 PM
BTCitcoin is more secure than most existing financial services, including legacy banking platforms like SWIFT, which has been compromised repeatedly by hackers.
55  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: January 20, 2018, 03:23:31 PM
The existence of cryptocurrencies makes it possible to give every citizen in the world a stack of gold. The currency thus given out will not be valuable by itself not at first. Time will have to pass in order for scarcity to change the value of the currencies. Nor will every currency succeed in making impoverished people wealthy.

Yet the potential already exists. One day, poverty may be a thing of the past. On such a day, homeless people will no longer be homeless. Welfare programs and the government agencies who administer them will no longer be necessary. The world will be alive with commerce, wherein transactions can be done instantly with anonymity.
56  Other / Archival / Re: What is Bitcoin Wallet? on: January 20, 2018, 03:03:14 PM
There are many types of bitcoin wallet there are: Desktop wallets, it allows users to create an address for sending and receiving bitcoins and provide a place to store the private key for doing so. This can be done by downloading software to an individual computer. Another is mobile wallets, it can be accessed through apps, allow users to transact on the go. Another is custodial wallets, which store Bitcoin keys on the internet through a third-party website. And the last is bitcoin paper wallet services provide users with a Bitcoin address and two QR codes, one that links to that address and another that provides the private key necessary for transferring bitcoins stored on it.
57  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin rising on: January 20, 2018, 02:51:35 PM
According to what ive read, the value of bitcoin plunged this week, amid concerns that trading could be banned in South Korea, but it appears to have stabilised.  But for now it seems to have settled after its crash.  It is worth $11,260 as of Friday afternoon UK time. However, there are serious fears that bitcoin has created a bubble that could burst at any moment.  Numerous financial experts are advising potential investors to avoid getting involved with bitcoin, and the SEC has told people to “exercise caution” and be wary of scammers.

59  Other / Meta / Re: Stake your Bitcoin address here on: January 20, 2018, 08:05:22 AM
I'm not sure if there's another thread for this already, or if this belongs in a different section. So basically I thought it would be helpful to post up your Bitcoin address in this thread in the event that your account gets compromised later on down the road. You can simply make a new alt account, sign the address that your original account posted here, and have irrefutable proof that you're the actual owner. It's not 100% guaranteed that you'll get your account back, but it's a pretty good start. Of course, if your account is compromised, the hacker could just come back to this thread and edit/delete whatever address you post here, so that's why I'm asking people to quote the address posted by the preceding user in this thread. Here's mine:

60  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to download wallet in external hard drive? on: January 20, 2018, 06:05:44 AM
Hardware wallet would probably work but there are better ways to keep offline wallets as well. Such as a paper wallet. you can generate and print one from http://bitaddress.org/ for example. If you insist on electronic storage, I'd recommend a usb-stick over a hard drive. Also, don't use the bitcoin.org software for that wallet, it's a pain in the ass to use that way. Multibit, for example, would work better.
