Question: Can we still use the old client until the 8th, or will it be kicked out after New Year's Day? If it can still be used, I'm going to stake more.

Oh my, it's increasing faster than the US national debt! Also, could we consider replacing the entire block generation method with 0% proof-of-stake (and no proof-of-work)? It would be an interesting development.

GPL pool gplcoin.com is "Unable to load site configuration". Also, are there GPL CPU miner binaries for Windows? I only see the GPU miner.
The 4400 coinbase is intended - UFC has superblocks. See lines 969 to 972 in FederationCredits/src/main.cpp. I myself have received a block of 400 UFC before.
Finally what will happen to the portion of the KED premine which is not claimed? Perhaps you could set a deadline for collection, after which the coins will be destroyed?

I downloaded the devcoin client in the OP.
Overall, it seems okay so far (indexing the ~118K blocks will take much more time). However, there are some minor cosmetic errors:
1. The taskbar logo, the window icon and the "About Devcoin" logo are I0Coin. 2. In "Sign/Verify Message", the "Devcoin addresses" are actually I0Coin addresses. 3. "Pay To" says "Enter a Bitcoin address".
Other than that, I don't see any major problems. I'll wait further until the reindex is complete to update this post.
I had to restart the client after reindex was completed to get the new blocks to show up. Other than that, things seem to be working fine. 18:28:44 getinfo

I had a deposit of 500-plus ORB coming in in three deposits. Only one has appeared and is 2/6 confirmations despite being sent who knows how many days ago. Ticket has not been responded to.
Also, I sold CENT at 3 XPM-satoshi a few days ago. The order executed at 2 XPM-satoshi. So far Cryptsy has yet to give me a proper reply on why this happens. (At that time, the buy wall at 3 XPM-satoshi was several thousand XPM thick)

lol bought 58809900 CENT for 0.58809900 LTC and then started reading this thread that really, I should have done it on the XPM trading floor, realising this I went there and for my 58809900 CENT I could get only 1.7 XPM . So I went back and thought il just sell it back on the XPM/LTC bit but nope to sell it is at 0.00000000. So I thought ok ok I will just trade for xpm and trade for ltc on coins-e ......well...id only get 0.17ltc back.....heres to hoping CENT hits 0.00000002 soon Mine a few stake blocks and you're golden. I got 28M, staked it and became 307M. Sold 80M of it and recovered my initial investment, with 225M left. Hoping for a bountiful harvest~

The /geocoin/pennies repo is down, as is andarazoroflove.org. Does anyone have Windows binaries for 0.9.3 to 0.9.6?
As of right now: 2,720,420,035,918 (Assuming moneysupply is correct)
Then congratulations, you have a market cap of 6K BTC. (of course, if you dump all your CENT you'd probably get only 25 BTC, but that's boring)
How many CENT are there in existence right now?
You assume they are actually hashing...
So you are saying they get blocks frequently without even hashing ? That sounds even better, I'm very interested in knowing how to do that. Or are you saying ghash.io is not owned by cex.io ? They probably just pay you whenever ghash.io finds a block.

Let me understand this... so you have to explain the process of making a cryptocurrency? Explain how you made your andrewboy44Coin (or whatever)?

unfocus, is there a repo for the exchange development?
theofilos: btcltc.com is not well known for their trustworthiness, unfortunately...

Seems that the double credit for BTC is gone... however there is still the 5% discount for BTC as well as an added 10% credit for deposits over $108. If anyone wants VPS mining but doesn't have PayPal account, this is a great alternative, as well as allowing you to take advantage of rise in BTC price.
Just noticed that they have a new promotion - there is a bonus of 10% if you deposit over $108 (12 months)! So for just 0.1 BTC you get (at 1,088.50/BTC) $253 of credit - 28 months worth of server time! (That's 4.2 MH/s of Quark for 1 month)
Bump! This promotion is still on. With the doubling of deposits they are effectively giving your BTC a value of $1,085.27*2=$2,170 each!
OP is updated with instructions to install miners.
You mined using p2pool to the exchange wallet. It will not be recognised as a valid deposit.

Just a heads-up to all VPS-mining folks: ChunkHost is offering 2x deposits for today only if you deposit using Bitcoin! Plans are a flat $9 a month with an optional upgrade fee. The most basic plan offers 1GB RAM, 30GB SSD storage, 2 CPU cores, and 2TB Transfer/month. If you are considering a DigitalOcean VPS but don't have a Paypal account, you can use this instead! Sign up here!Note: if you wish to mine Protoshares, beware of the 1GB memory limitation. I would suggest limiting your nonce range to reduce memory usage. Also, when compiling your clients it might be best to make a swap file, just in case: instructionsInstructions1. Fund your account. It is recommmended to fund it with more so that you can run more miners concurrently. 0.05 BTC should be fine, and gives you over $110 of credit. 2. Set up the chunk. Use Ubuntu 12.04 or 13.10 for the OS. The root password will be emailed to you. 3. SSH into the chunk using either putty (Windows) or ssh (linux). Run the following: # apt-get update ; apt-get upgrade. # sudo apt-get install make automake git build-essential libcurl4-openssl-dev
This will provide the necessary tools for CPU miner building. 4. Compile CPU miners as usual. Warning: flag "-O3" or flat "-march=native" seems to cause SIGILL to be thrown. Benchmark results: Quark = 150 KH/s using https://github.com/uncle-bob/quarkcoin-cpuminerYacoin = 25 Hash/s using mikealh yacoin cpuminer at http://yacointalk.com/index.php?topic=264.0scrypt = 9.5 KH/s using pooler cpuminer SHA-256 = 5.2 MH/s using pooler cpuminer XPM, PTS not tested yet
