41  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin upto 20,000$ December 2018 on: July 11, 2018, 02:48:52 PM
Bitcoin goes up to 20,000 $in December 2018 or below the 20,000$ P
Doubt for that even crypto experts won't speculate that much as we are in high volatility market. As we have notice that we are stuck $6k and we are in the 3rd quarter already but there is no signs of growing. May I think $12k might have possible as we are nearly approaching on it. Hope we see a huge pump by September as people get thirsty on it since from the start of this year.

That's wrong since some "experts" are being bullish despite of the current status of the market. As based from Tom Lee, Bitcoin could be around 20,000 USD by the end of this year, 2018. Some are also saying that it will be beyond that. We just entered the third quarter of the year so we still have a lot of time to consider and it is too early to jump to any conclusions.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that people will invest in BTC in future immensely on: July 11, 2018, 02:30:50 PM
I Believe, if we can spread value of BTC, surely people will invest future  more than today, no one believe anything without reason, therefore we must explain for people who are willing to invest about BTC, If some one brought a bitcoin in 2010, how much money they can earn within few years, that is the message we should give for society.
I am telling people that investing in bitcoin is like investing into our future and if we really want to have good life in years to come the best thing to do now is to buy bitcoin.  I think in some years to come bitcoin is going to be the reason why people are rich.

This is the reason why many are saying that Bitcoin is a scam. People are introducing Bitcoin in the wrong way. People should know Bitcoin for what it is and not by how much you can earn from it. Purely saying that if you buy Bitcoin you will be rich will stain Bitcoin's name when the price crashed just like what we experience the past months.
43  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you afraid of the market now? on: July 11, 2018, 02:24:41 PM
I think the next economic crisis will affect the digital money market.
what's your point of view?

The world has always been in an economic crisis and there's nothing new about it.

The cryptocurrency market now, for noobs, is scary because their metric of Bitcoin as being great is dependent on its price. If you truly understand the natural movement of Bitcoin then the current status should not affect you at all
44  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen after the last bitcoine is mined? on: July 11, 2018, 10:51:44 AM
There would be many possibilities when the last Bitcoin is mined. Many are hoping for Bitcoin to go mainstream and it is possible. Bitcoin has the most trust with respect to all cryptocurrency that exist so it may be. The price, on the other hand will not be stable. Based from the law of supply and demand, the higher the demand and the lower the supply, the higher the price. Since the supply is constant and the demand is varying, the price should be varying as well.
45  Economy / Economics / Re: CAN WE SAY THE MARKETCAP OF BITCOIN IS FALSE?? on: July 10, 2018, 03:31:18 PM
Am just scared if Whales decide to convert Bitcoin to Fiat. Will Tether keep printing more Tether to circulation?.

Most must be scared if ever these whales converts their Bitcoins to Fiat. This would really make the market crash dramatically. However, I believe that we won't be seeing this in the near future. Most of these whales are already rich and are just making their money grow.

Tether could produce more if ever they believe that this is necessary but I think consensus is necessary before this happens.

CAN WE SAY THE MARKETCAP OF BITCOIN IS FALSE??

If you are talking about the market cap reflected in CMC or alike, then I suppose they are true because the market cap is just a multiplication between the current price and the current circulating supply. There's no point faking them. However, market cap is irrelevant. Since it is just digits, it doesn't mean anything of significant to Bitcoin at all.
46  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Restore it's Place in the Market? on: July 10, 2018, 10:32:45 AM
I have been reading post and news that the Some people are saying that Bitcoin will not achieve its price as it was last years and some are saying that it will restore its previous glory this year.

What do you think in this matter?

Feel free to answer.

You can add pics videos and even news and posters.

So I take that these "some" people are implying that the glory of Bitcoin is based on its price? This is a wrong perception about Bitcoin and could affect someones point of view about the entire network. How come that a glory about a coin depends on its value? This is illogical and at the same time, idiotic.

Bitcoin is still the dominant coin in the market, has the top market cap, has most trust from the community, the alpha coin of all cryptocurrency. This is the metric for "glory" not the price.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is 2018 the year when crypto goes mainstream on: July 10, 2018, 08:06:10 AM
The truth is that the anticipation for crypto to go mainstream increases as time goes on. In fact there are skeptis who would have nothing to do with crypto unless it goes mainstream. Is 2018 that year when blockchain crypto goes mainstream?

Not a chance bro. 2018 is too early to see Bitcoin go mainstream. Also, Bitcoin is not yet capable of being mainstream for the moment. Imagine people waiting for at least 10 minutes for their transaction to went through the network. This is very impractical for peer to peer or face to face transaction. Give it at least 5 more years and we might get there.
48  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit $25k by the end of 2018 on: July 10, 2018, 07:36:34 AM
Yeah bro i am also agree with you because you are right

Nobody can guarantee that the statement in the OP and in the video attached will happen. Remember that this is cryptocurrency, in which we are very volatile. In addition, this is considered as an investment so nothing is for certain. I admit that I want to see those figures this year. However, I always expect for the worse. Expecting too much is unhealthy Wink

In the video, the only basis for the bull run is the statistics based from historical data of Bitcoin. Although Math does not lie, we should be aware that past performance of any king does not justify any performance in the future.
49  Economy / Speculation / Re: some of the reasons that made the bitcoin's price down on: July 08, 2018, 03:40:38 PM
Someone keeps saying that bitcoin was hacked, that someone is responsible about the tradings happening and the amount of volume of bitcoin. But might the main reason is the government releasing bad news abiut bitcoin.

Bitcoin was hacked? I hope you doe not believe whoever said that. But the fact that you stated it here without contradicting the claim would indicate that you somehow believed that claim. Bitcoin is not vulnerable to hacks. Bitcoin is decentralized and that protects it from hackers. The concept of hacking is targeting a single point in a network in order to access the main server. But since Bitcoin does not have such, then hacks are off the table.
50  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop: Is this the Best Time to Buy? on: July 08, 2018, 03:28:29 PM
By 2 PM (EST) on June 11, 2018, Bitcoin had dropped almost $1,000 from its price, trading at $6,700. BTC is now trading at its lowest value since the middle of March 2018. One of the most significant questions remains what to do next – join the selloff brigade, hodl, or buy more Bitcoins?

Details:
https://cryptomonster.net/news/bitcoin-price-drop-is-this-the-best-time-to-buy-bitcoinist/index.html

HODL and buy more would be the best move here. The fact that the price is low, selling is not an option. We are talking about investment here and you invested because you want to gain. If you sell low then what is the point of investing? Since the price is low, hold unto your coins and, if possible, buy more so that you'll earn more when the price soars again.
51  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Economy Grow Forever? on: July 08, 2018, 03:00:12 PM
As the advancement of technology nowadays, I can say that economy will grow forever but it depends on the nation and the strong policy of every leader. If the leader in one nation is wise to make decision upon the continuos growth of the economy.

On the contrary, I believe that the economy is not growing or progressing at all. As time pass by, the economy is dropping and dropping. We are just seeing the advancement of the technology and nothing else. Poverty is worsening in general and that is not a sign of economic growth at all.
52  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Some People Dont Believe BTC is SCAM? on: July 07, 2018, 01:39:45 PM
20k$ dumped to 6K$ was difficult but happened, 6k$ to 500$ is very easy soon will be worthless,  So  Why Some People Dont Believe BTC is SCAM?

How can the crash from $20k to $6k justify that Bitcoin is a scam? Even if the Bitcoin become worthless what is the correlation of it to scam? Bitcoin behaves just like stock market and do they say that stock market is a scam? Let me answer those questions for you: it cannot, nope, and nope. Your argument about Bitcoin being a scam is very much flawed.
53  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin Up then all crypto is Up HOW ? on: July 07, 2018, 12:54:33 PM
How its possible its something fishy for sure if bitcoin price goes up all crypto prices goes up its impossible situation every time me see saying it cause each crypto trader buyer and sellers are different and each user who buys crypto buys difrent crypto at one time how come eveyone buys all crypto at one time and all crypto prices goes up at same time did u thought that ever

its for sure something fishy or not convincing what u think of it guys !

https://puu.sh/APGiX/d2e489d444.png

It may seem impossible considering that there are hundreds of coins including tokens out there and most of them increasing in value just because Bitcoin does. If we are just to look at the demand or supply, yes we can justify this as impossible as per the examination of OP. We have to look at this differently and this is how you should look at this:

Let us assume that a Bitcoin is valued $1,000 at the moment and an Ethereum is equal to 0.1 BTC.

1BTC = $1,000 and 1ETH = 0.1BTC, thus 1ETH = $100.

If, for instance 1BTC after a day became $1,100 each and 1ETH is still equal to 0.1BTC then,

1BTC = $1,100 and 1ETH = 0.1BTC, thus 1ETH = $110.

Having the same conversion factor of 1ETH = 0.1BTC, ETH increased in value in terms of USD because BTC increased.

I used this explanation because all other coins are convertible in BTC market.

Without looking at the supply and demand for other coin or token, we can clearly see here how most of the coins and tokens increase in value just by Bitcoin increasing.
54  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins dip what to do? on: July 06, 2018, 08:26:51 PM
all altcoins goes down rapidly are we seeing the coins disappear?

No, they are not disappearing. Some might be dying but the decline in price does not justify that the coins are disappearing.

what are the things we need to do?

Nothing. The decline is very much normal. True investor waits for the right time.
If you want to sell, it's your call.
Some migrates to other stronger coin. Everyone has their own strategy.

this are just questions running to our heads now that the coins
are going down, we see reds everyday since 2018 enter all the bad things happen
feel free to share your thoughts on this

Not all are making this a big deal. Only those who really understand the nature of cryptocurrency stay calm regardless of the countless red days.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how much you can profit from altcoins on: July 06, 2018, 08:20:39 PM
I want to find out why everybody wants to invest in altcoins, what I want to ask is, how much money did you get from altcoins so far?

This really depends on how much you invest and where did you invest. Investing in altcoins is very much profitable considering that you invested in a great coin. 20 - 100% is an easy figure for altcoin, some even gained 200%+. The correct question here is not how much you can earn, but rather where to invest.
56  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investment? on: July 06, 2018, 07:07:40 PM
I am new to cryptocurreny ,I am thinking of investing into altcoin but seeing the downfall in it should I go for the investment for a good future .

The irony of investment is that you wait for a low price before you jump in. Since the market is experiencing set backs, true investors buys in so that they will gain more when the price soars up. As the common saying in investment state: "Buy low, sell high", we are currently at the "low" part so investing or buying the the best move.
57  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear market? Will NEVER HAPPEN because of increasing # of unretrievable bitcoin on: July 06, 2018, 07:02:59 PM
You knuckleheads still don't get that the supply gets lower and lower as we speak.

We get that but you are focusing too much on supply even though demand also plays a crucial part in this market. Supply alone is irrelevant. What is the sense of being scarce when no one wants to buy? Please accept the fact that supply and demand comes in set. You can think of this as the Yin and Yang.
58  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain help eliminate the basic problems in the world? on: July 06, 2018, 06:14:00 PM
Poverty, legal identity etc. are major concerns in the third-world countries. Data says one-third of children in the world still lack legal identity (sourced from Informationweek). Poverty and lack of food still kill thousands of people. Can Blockchain put an end to all this?

Blockchain does not give a damn about poverty and legal identity. Blockchain is just a public ledger where all transactions are reflected and is accessible by the people. How in the world could a public ledger put an end to poverty and famine? That is a rhetorical question and the answer is IT CANNOT.

...
You are right, but I think blockchain can help improve this problem. For example, blockchain technology will be applied to life. Create new jobs. People and governments have more income. This will help improve the lives of so many people.

It is the other way around. Blockchain could demolish jobs. Without the need for third-party entity then banks and such will be no longer needed. If ever they still exist, the job it needs will be lessen. Thus, less employee needed. Think of this as the conversion of manual method to automated.

On 6 March 2014, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) issued a statement on risks associated with bitcoin trading and usage. Recently virtual currencies were legalized and cryptocurrency exchanges are now regulated by Central Bank of the Philippines (Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas) under Circular 944. But it's not the first country on Asia to regulate bitcoin as you say on your topic. search for Craig Wright he is an Australian computer scientist and businessman. He has publicly identified himself as the main part of the team that created bitcoin, and has claimed he is the identity behind the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Also Bitcoin was created by Satoshi Nakamoto from Japan. Or, some say, he or she might be a Finnish sociologist or a mathematician from Israel. Some think Nakamoto is the pseudonym of software developer Gavin Andresen, others believe it's Tesla creator Elon Musk.

Oh My Gawd! Does that mean the shit posting population on the forum is going to increase exponentially? Imagine the situation now and compare it to what happens once the entire country wants to join bounty and signature campaigns.

Jokes apart, it's a good news but it would be sad for the bounty hunters to pay taxes. You haven't mentioned the tax part which I believe will be applicable once it's regulated.

LOL. The mixture of sarcasm and concern (for the forum) was good. I'll give it to you, hats off  Cheesy

For the record, Philippines is not the first Asian country to regulate and accept Bitcoin. AFAIK, it was Japan and it was more than a year ago. OP is too proud, he did not even make the facts straight. Worth the shot, I suppose  Grin

PS, there's no tax for cryptocurrency here in the Philippines yet. Brace yourself for shits Roll Eyes
