there really isn't any kind of limit to how much you can profit from investing in altcoins. it can be from losing 100% of your investment and going down to 0 up to millions of dollars!

it depends on a bunch of things. starting with your experience in trading and in knowing how altcoin market works conversely the pump and dumps. if you have no experience and want to randomly buy based on what others tell you and what they hype up then you will end up losing a lot of money.
then it also depends on how much you are willing to invest and take risks. obviously you can't become a millionaire investing $1 but you will be taking a much bigger risk investing a higher amount.

As what the saying goes, invest what you can afford to lose. The more you invest, the more you will profit nor lose, just be vigilant in participating or investing in some ICO's out there. But as long as you find some  legit altcoins there, its gonna be a sure profit, as long as you hold on to it for awhile

If you have enough money, then I think you should invest in altcoins, which are backed by an experienced and hardworking team, because it really can bring more profit in the future.I personally invested in two altcoins and one of them gave x5 and the other x7. And I  them  hold still.

For me personally, i just wanna earn fast money. I have invested in MTN and it has returned almost 3x from my initial investment. That's become one example of how much can profit from altcoin.
But it can give you almost 100% lost if you are not managing it safely.
everyone investing in altcoin because they believe they can earn more from there.

I can't remember on how much I've earned with altcoins but it's more than enough to be happy with my regular salary for few months.

During the peak times, I managed to took some profits from other altcoin investments that really gave me another source to invest all the profits to bitcoin.

I think, there is no fixed amount that you can gain from altcoins just do your due diligence and get as much as you can. Practice strong risk management too.

in my experience you can get zero profit even lost em all or you can gain profit up to 3000% from your starting money, like there no sure thing in trading but you can avoid big lost if you just go with the flow and play safe, you also need to pay attention about trend.

It depends in market movements if the market is rising then we can get a high profit when you invest in any potential coins but we are unlucky if the market is dropping so we have 20% of chance to get a profit in your investment.

It's a silly question my friend. It totally depends from you and your knowleges. You can invest 100$ and raize 1000$ , or you can invest 1000 and lose all of it. There are no limits of profit. Just remember about risks and investt money wich you dont affraid to lose.

All I can say is, in altcoins you can get x 3 - 4 - 5 ...10 of your investment in short time if you go right way and negative about that amount if you go wrong way or maybe unlucky.

Yeah, a lot of factor matters and most of it depend on one's trading knowledge. One can make based on one's strategy or as much as one wants to, but it all depends on when the market simply looks like the possibility of a trend wants to change. However, in cases of bull run for altcoins, it can be very huge and can even start from as much as x10 and above for some alts. However, some still always get greedy and lose out anyway which is why greed is also an important thing in how much one makes or not.

As an investor that has coins for a long time i'd say i could have profited a lot by cashing out late last year, but decided not to and therefore have made zero. The lesson here is to find the peaks and then cash out!
