For you, you must wait 6 years, 6 months, and 6 days until you sell these coins.

Thanks, you seem to be having fun with this

so guess it is from 1, but we can change it.

I just needed to know in order to know whether my if needs the >0 clause or can assume the roll will result in at least 1 rather tghan at least 0.

Its my if that needs changing. (The >1 part is redundant.)

Right now it is set to be from 1 I think. Seems that is what you want also.

BUYING!!! BUYING!!!!!!

Are you one of the lucky people who got part of the 1,500,000+ Nugget giveaway?

Don't know if Vlad2Vlad actually sent the coins, or when/if the network will be alive enough to use your coins?

No worry!

I will buy your PRIVATE KEY!     No network needed, just the ability to dump or extract the private key from the wallet.

Message me for details and pricing, or if you need help with extracting your private key Wink

This is for a limited time only, so act quick.

hahahahhahahah   yea, how many blockchain versions are out there and which chain actually got the bounty coins, are they even valid anymore?

I am running the original version, and got them just fine... with 26 confirms now.

Thanks Vlad.

Anyone found any lucky blocks yet?

Well damnit, you made me curious enough to use a be on the chain.

It seems to get stuck at block 2490, so maybe that is the fork point with a superblock on the code change of two days back?

I paid them, it's my coin.

But they have access to the repo files.  I thought that was normal.  So thy hijacked my coin?

How do I get ,y coin back them?  There sayin they're helping me but I think programmer at is stealing my coin.  But if he's not I can't accuse him of it since nobody else is helping me.  How do I get control back of my coin?
It doesn't mean they hijacked the coin, it just means they could. If they're implementing what you want, and doing what you want, then there's no hijack. What exactly are they doing that you're not happy with?

Oh they are hijacking it  ( https://github.com/nuggets-project/nuggets/blob/master/README.md ).  They put in a forking  change and restarted the chain instead of putting in the change to take place at a future date.

Thing is, no one can help you Vlad, as you never had control of the repo.  You had no way  to review and fix and apply the patches to the coin, and do an updated release.  You did not do enough research ahead of time to learn the skill sets you had to have in place to run a coin.  You did not learn what a project manager for a coin would need to be aware of and have some control over.   At this point, consider this a cheap education perhaps?

Speaking of hijacking, it seems we are hijacking the ixcoin thread.

What will be the smallest number of shares one can buy?

1? Or 100?  More?

Usually 1, but if you buy less then 100 you have to pay a odd lot fee.

I never understood what's the advantage of buying shares in a trust over buying the underlying commodity itself.

Well i'm just a private individual not a VC though.

Liquidity, storage, dealing with delivery.

The interesting thing is the filing keeps referring to their holdings as "math-based assets."  I'm wondering if this leaves room for alt currencies.
Actually, the filing never refers to their holdings as just "math-based assets", it specifically refers to their holdings as "Bitcoins", defined as "a type of a Digital Math-Based Asset". The filing does refer to altcoins as examples of alternative Digital Math-Based Assets and Bitcoin's competion, though the Trust does not deal in anything other than bitcoins specifically.

Exactly.  Even if there was demand for a ETF for an alternative CC it wouldn't make sense for a single ETF and single trust to handle both.  I mean there are Physical Gold ETFs and Physical Silver ETFs but you don't see mixed Silver & Gold ETFs.  Ticker symbols are cheap and there are thousands of ETFs.  If the first one gets approved and there is demand no reason you couldn't have a whole family of CC based ETFs.

I am sure there are others.    Though most ETFs do not have an asset manager so I guess if they wanted to creat a mixed fund they would have to define a mix pegged to either value in a fiat currency,  or to one of the other currencies to maintain.
52  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone interested in doing a group buy for just newbies? on: July 18, 2013, 06:29:34 AM
I was thinking about doing a group buy for the usb miners when they are available to order again.

What you seem to be proposing is more like a partnership rather then a group buy, since there is no way to split up the large miner to ship a part of it to each buyer.  So someone has to host and run it.
