41  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin online payments on: August 15, 2018, 02:05:59 PM
some have used bitcoin to transact online, in some countries today, so as crypto. bitcoin is legal! and many have used it.

of course bitcoin is legal in most countries and it's being used for transations. Just not enough yet, mass adoption didn't happen yet, we need to be trying to help the community by promoting btc in front of our friends to help
42  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't worry, Bitcoin will be fine. on: August 15, 2018, 02:05:10 PM
I will never worry, because soon bitcoin prices will definitely improve. People must not panic and be more patient because Bitcoin keeps developing and improvement will made for sure.

it's not about prices, it's about use cases. The more people use this technology, the better adoption and future will be. Then the prices will also follow, but that's not so important
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychology when entering the Cryptocurrency market. on: August 15, 2018, 02:04:33 PM
I always fear when the market falls

if you fear that means you're too dependant on the market. Either you put too much money in and you can't take it or you focus fully on crypto. It's fine if you won't get heart attack
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has stabilized? on: August 12, 2018, 07:35:38 AM

 Grin Grin Grin

brilliant post. This kind of behavior is what we see more and more often nowadays, just with little more ridiculous comments and much worse English from people who can barely read
45  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if someone forgot the key to their bitcoin wallet ? on: August 12, 2018, 07:34:46 AM
What are the measures to keep your private key safe and in memory ? Are there any alternatives to retrieve the key back ?

the only option is to store your private keys properly without letting other people know what it is. By other people I mean the hackers and ptential attackers. Safest way is offline in my opinion
46  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peak get lower and lower, and dips get worse on: August 12, 2018, 07:32:28 AM
Peak - 16 Dec: 20.000$

Dip - 30 Dec: 12.600$

Peak - 6 Jan: 17.100$

Dip - 5 Feb: 6.900$

Peak - 4 Mar: 11.500$

Dip - 7 Apr: 6.600$

Peak - 5 May: 9.800$

Dip - 28 Jun: 5.800$

Peak - 24 Jul: 8.400$

Now we are at 6.200 going down to the next even deeper dip

This is the long and slow death of Bitcoin as there are not really anyone new who wants to use it (let's face it, there is no use at all, only "investment"), and as current Bitcoin-believers are slowly becoming fewer and fewer, the price will continue this long slow death-spiral

if this is what you think, they just take your 0.001 btc you own, convert it to usd and leave this place. I don't see why you're making efforts of posting on this forum, I'm sure not to warn people
47  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you still holding when market price falls abnormally? on: August 12, 2018, 07:30:10 AM
I like to know your stand against the current market price falls down that relatively almost in the danger zone for the crypto holders if they still hold their crypto it might be one day that they will going to lose all their money. My ideals is different i had to sell it though it means that i had to lose some of my money. Anyway i could invest again when market price recovers but not for now seeing crypto market looks so bad. Will you still hold?

there is no losing of all money. I see you still didn't understand that these dips are not abnormal, they're perfectly normal in crypto, just do yourself a favor and learn something from the history charts
48  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. on: August 10, 2018, 07:50:42 AM
I defined eight basic levels of cryptocurrencies. What you think about it?

Tokens Tiers.

Tier 1: Bitcoin & Ethereum
Tier 2: Tokens representing real crypto platforms (Cardano, IoTA, Waves, ...)
Tier 3: Tokens backed by real business (Ripple)
Tier 4: Tokens with narrow specialization like payments, anonymity, etc. (Monero, Zcash... )
Tier 5: Growtech forks (Neo, Stellar,...)
Tier 6: Miners' forks (Bitcoin cash,...)
Tier 7: Hyped Tokens
Tier 8: Useless shitcoins

I would add a tier for tokens representing the crypto platform under the development. There is a lot of speculation in that category and many will fail, some good ones will come out
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Emotional day trading on: August 10, 2018, 07:49:00 AM
Do not do emotional day trading.

I have lost nearly 1500$  over one night.  we think this is the best coin for day trading seeing only the chart increment percentage.  then thats emotional only , no statistical investigation or research. if you do not know day please avoid from it. its better.

I don't ever remember getting anything good out of the emotional decisions in life or in trading. Only the educated decisions make sense and let you to earn the gains. Make sure to follow that
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust ICO Rating sites? on: August 10, 2018, 07:46:36 AM
They seem biased to me. A friend of mine who's doing an ICO told me that they paid 10ETH for 5 quality ratings and that's that! I noticed that some ICOs with good project, team, and good social media presence are struggling with getting good reviews.

With all that said, should it still be a factor to look at when investing in ICO?
I just recently thought about them. When I was a beginner, I was sure that I can trust such sites as trackico, icobench etc. But I was told that estimates are put there for a reason (depending on how much the project team will pay). For this I now do not trust such sites at all

you can not fully trust those websites, you can only trust fully yourself if you did your homework. But my experience is that they provide useful information and their ratings are not really far off
51  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin and altcoins ? on: August 10, 2018, 07:45:45 AM
I think this time is the correct time to put resources into bitcoint or altcoin, holding up is certifiably not something worth being thankful for, in the event that we see the present economic situations are down once more, interest in crypto must be savvy to see economic situations

crypto is becoming a viable alternative to fiat currencies and other assets. The time will come when major economic crisis strikes again and then we will only see people joining the crypto in masses
52  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: August 10, 2018, 07:44:39 AM
I think, some people selling their altcoins so soon because they badly need money for their needs. There were also people selling because they already see a profit on it and afraid that it crashes.

and recently the most common reason which is they see prices falling, they bought in high and they feel like selling low before they would be forced to sell even lower in future
53  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Being Used for Blackmail on: August 04, 2018, 06:22:32 AM
I just got an email that I pasted below the asterisks.  The only thing they have right is an old password that I still use for forums I’ve belonged to for years.  Mostly computer and photography related forums.  They are telling me they have videos from a porn site and my web cam and well, you can read the email.  I do not have a web cam, nor do I use Messenger, Outlook or Facebook.  I removed my password from the email.  Their BTC address is listed, tho I removed the last 4 characters for the purpose of posting here.  They are demanding $1,000 within 24 hours.  I do believe this is a scam of some sort.  If I click on reply, there is no address and if I try to look at all headers in the email, it is not available.  Never seen that before.  Is there a way to trace this person and find out who they are?  I am not sending them anything.

One thing I did notice the other day is that a proxy program I run always in Firefox got turned off the other day.  That’s never happened before.

*************************************************

It seems that, (*****************), is your password. You may not know me and you are probably wondering why you are getting this e mail, right?

actually, I put in place a trojans over the adult vids (adult porn) web-site and you know what, you visited this web site to have fun (you know what I mean). While you were watching videos, your internet browser began working like a RDP (Remote Access) which provided accessibility of your screen and web cam. and then, my computer software obtained all of your current contacts from your Messenger, Outlook, Facebook, as well as emails.

What did I really do?

I made a double-screen video clip. First part shows the video you're seeing (you have a good taste haha . . .), and 2nd part shows the recording of your web camera.

exactly what should you do?

Well, in my opinion, $1000 is a fair price for your little secret. You'll make the payment by Bitcoin (if you do not know this, search "how to buy bitcoin" in Google).

BTC Address: 15mwbKGQ2MMQW91G6VUwHx8huEFRZZ****
(It is case sensitive, so copy and paste it)

Very important:
You've got 1 day in order to make the payment. (I have a completely unique pixel within this e mail, and at this moment I know that you have read through this email message). If I don't get the BitCoins, I will certainly send out your videos to all of your contacts including family members, colleagues, and so forth. Having said that, if I get the payment, I'll destroy the recording immidiately. If you'd like evidence, reply with "Yes!" and i'll undoubtedly send your videos to your 6 contacts. It is a non-negotiable offer, that being said don't waste my personal time and yours by answering this message.

if they had the video of you, they would attach it into the email to make their point. If they didn't, they are probably only bluffing, as it's an easy way to do this bluff. Don't you worry
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Artificial Intelligence on: August 04, 2018, 06:20:31 AM
Can someone explain how artificial intelligence will effect blockchain/crypto projects from now on? What is the importance of artificial intelligence?

Blockchain and artificial intelligence are being mentioned in one sentence more and more every week. Both are cutting edge technologies that together can can automatize and simplify many processes out there
55  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The truth about bitcoin on: August 04, 2018, 06:19:04 AM
Well sure: growth rates like bitcoin has had certainly aren't sustainable forever, but where is the uncertainty? Its in government regulation...how much can they and will they try to squeeze this crypto-currency and make it "open" (i.e. traceable).

we don't rely on governments. Bitcoin was designed to surpass the governments so in case they don't want to cooperate, they don't need to, it's all in the hands of the users
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Low prices and bad comments are taking the confidence of the Newbies? on: August 04, 2018, 06:18:01 AM
When the price drops, there are many bad comments coming from different directions. The Newbies are most affected by this. Because if someone wants to invest, they are lagging behind for those bad comments and they are afraid also. Is this reason their Confidence Level is not low?

I think we should stop our bad comment about Bitcoin. We will also benefit from this.     Sad

There seems to be a trend of newbies spreading a negative atmosphere around this forum because of price drop, others newbies are buying into it for sure. Old members don't do this though
57  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: August 04, 2018, 06:13:38 AM
Today I bought a few coins BCA on the stock exchange.exchange. Put on the transfer of coins in Coinomi, but that there is no long confirmation of the transaction. Please tell me how long does it take to transfer coins to the wallet?

you should contact stocks exchange support team if you find the deposit time too long, they are usually very responsive based on my experience. Good luck with that
58  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin will not hit 20000 soon? on: August 04, 2018, 06:10:29 AM
Bitcoin's growth began in early 2017 and then it touch 20000. Bitcoin's largest growth is due to the ability to trade with tether dollar. With this growth, a huge growth in ICOs appeared. Nowadays about 30 ICOs are added to the market. This huge volume of ICOs, has taken the power of bitcoin growth. Like weeds next to a tree. Bitcoin will not grow until ICOs exists.

I'm not sure whether this is the truth or not, but you got some point. If people are investing in ICOs, they're not investing the very same money into the bitcoin. But I like to have rather more projects than one
59  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as World Currency... on: August 04, 2018, 06:09:31 AM
for those that still actually think that bitcoin is going to be the monopolistic future world currency

this is how it will look like,

marketing slogan looks also familiar with the mindset of many bitcoin supporters.

not necessarily like this. The transition could go pretty smoothly. Of course the institutions and banks will either adjust or fall, but still there is no need for a chaos or anarchy
60  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Become Mainstream In The Next 10 Years? on: July 29, 2018, 08:57:48 AM
According to a study conducted by researchers at Imperial College London, cryptocurrency has the potential to become a form of payment that is widely used for decades to come. In their research report entitled "Cryptocurrency: Overcoming Barriers to Trust and Adoption" Professor Imperial College London, William Knottenbelt, and Imperial College Business School Dr. Zeynup Gurguc, argue that cryptocurrency has so far acted as a store of value like a fiat currency.
Bitcoin as a fashion tendency, huh? I think it is not only possible, it is already going through our world, young people in my area are thinking that cryptocurrency is something tough and you need to have knowledge in that sphere to be relevant.

It's like with veganism nowadays. Doing it only for the sake of fashion is not exactly the great purpose, but it still helps to save the animals and spread the world. Same with btc
