41  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: December 27, 2017, 01:38:22 PM
Bitcoin is getting popular so I don't think its value will go down but can't say and the other risk is it is stored in online wallet... Sad

I don't think what you have said is considered as risks in bitcoin. Its more like an advantage, getting popular means having more investors thus keeping the price steadily growing. Second, money stored in an online wallet is much safer than holding cash in our hands.
42  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: December 27, 2017, 01:20:36 PM
Well, the biggest risk you can encounter in bitcoin. Is losing all your money, bitcoins volatility is unpredictable. NO one can't predict how the market would go.
43  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do to get bitcoins? on: December 26, 2017, 12:16:04 AM
If you have some money then try to invest. If none then do bounties, campaigns, and airdrops. But first you need to study and be active in this forum to do that.
44  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 26, 2017, 12:09:35 AM
There's a lot of crypto that trends every year and some says that it'll replace bitcoin. Folks no one can replace the mother of all,  it is at the top of food chain so meaning if btc will be gone for sure everything will follow. (some of you might contradict this but this is my insight about this). But none of us can predict what will happen in the future whether or not btc will be replaced.

Correct, bitcoin can't be replaced by any other altcoins. If bitcoin ends so does other altcoins in the market. Altcoins just depend on the BTC's price in the market.
45  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Will Go to 7500$ on: December 26, 2017, 12:01:19 AM
How can you say with that confidence. There's no way to predict bitcoin's price. Many predictor got failed. I won't sell my bitcoins even the price fall to 7000 i will buy some more coins instead. That's my thought but i believe the minimum point would be 10,000$ since there's no fork appeared yet and the 2018 is on the way which will make bitcoin more popular than before.

its your choice mate its up to you.  But for the sake of your profits you should sell now instead of holding buying while your profit decreasing also. I think much better to sell then buy when bitcoin slowly increasing and hold cause perhaps it will surge again when the valued start to climb. Best regards
]
Nothing is going with bitcoin much bad,  good offer you have given to someone but no one will ready for this deal because all the people are know that bitcoin price cannot come down to $7500. Here I will say that the people are not businessmen in real sense that they get panic so soon and so early. I personally predict that price will not come down below 12k$ but after this bitcoin price will get raise and will touch 25k$ very soon because bitcoin has the potential to increase its price.

Bitcoin had already dropped to 12k this week. But Still, I don't think that it will reach $7500, there are still many of us hopeful in bitcoins so no one should be scared investing in it.

Bitcoin can't be hacked by anyone. What risk we are encountering right now is the fact that bitcoins technology can't handle the surge of investors it is getting right now.
47  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 25, 2017, 11:43:34 PM

I doubt bitcoin will survive for a hundred years. Im pretty sure it won't and will be replaced by new and more advance coins.
The coins we are seeing are the first generation coins. There will be a second generation for sure and so on.

Only time will tell what will happen with Bitcoin's future. One thing for sure, is that there are a lot of new cryptocurrencies out there with better technology and even vision than Bitcoin to provide a global payment system with extremely cheap fees. Since Bitcoin's fees are constantly increasing, it may decrease its share in the market while other altcoins take the lead.

Also, if Bitcoin doesn't come up with a scaling solution soon, then another cryptocurrency may become king in the next years. Most recently, Bitcoin Cash has increased in traction with its 8mb block size making many Bitcoin users switch over to this alternative cryptocurrency. While I'm not in favor of big blocks (as it further centralizes the cryptocurrency), I believe that BCH may replace Bitcoin as digital money if the pioneer cryptocurrency doesn't do anything about addressing scalability issues soon.

Nevertheless, perhaps we will see a future where Bitcoin will remain as king of crypto but only to become used as a store of value, while Bitcoin Cash may take the lead in cheap, peer to peer electronic payments. Just my opinion. Smiley

More like bitcoin will be a gold and some other altcoin will be dollars. Is that what you are saying? I guess altcoins will still have a long way to go to do it.

Even if there are many rising problems right now in bitcoin. I think it still good to hop in bitcoins. There still a place for investors to gain profit. Right now it is still expected to reach 20k by the end of the year.
49  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 02:23:13 AM
As I said in the title. I was interested in putting my money into Bitcoin because of the ever-increasing price.
But I want to know what the biggest risk is to hold Bitcoin?
the biggest risk of holding bitcoin is that for my opinion that when price is high then I buy some bitcoin but after holding the price falling down, a major loss may be create.

Well it is because of its volatility. Better buy coins when the price is down and do selling when the price is up. There are many risk in bitcoin to consider, not only the price right now in the market.
50  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 24, 2017, 02:17:04 AM
Anything could happen, but I do not think it will happen soon, bitcoin is at its peak and it is more popular than any atcoins due to volume and its supporters. I am also a bitcoin enthusiast so my trust and confidence of bitcoin is very high as it could become the global currency in the future.

Also include the facts that all other coins just rely on bitcoin's price in the market. Once the bitcoin price go down, altcoins also follow.

It is possible that bitkoyn can be ever replaced by another, more promising crypto currency. If bitkoyn, as recently, will not be improved technologically and eliminate its shortcomings, it is possible that a more perfect digital coin will take the place of the leader of the crypto currency. However, starting from the New Year, a lightning network will be introduced in Bitcomyn, which will eliminate the current shortcomings of bitcoins, namely, the slowness of transactions and the high cost of commissioning for them. Therefore, it seems that it is not going to give away its leader to the crypto currency.

Well if that's true that there will be an improvement going on in bitcoin, then I don't think bitcoin will be ever replaced by any altcoins in the market.
52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: December 24, 2017, 01:45:42 AM
There is always a high risk in holding bitcoin. But it is still safer than to invest in other altcoins. Although some of the altcoins have potential, they don't guarantee success in the end, not like bitcoin.
True but the greater the risk the greater the reward, this is why a lot of people prefer to take the risk of investing in altcoins instead of investing in bitcoin if they know what they are doing the benefits are great, if they do not, then their losses are going to be big as well.
The investment in Bitcoin is in itself already a risky undertaking. If we compare bitcoins with gold, then gold has a material value and a physical body, and Bitcoin is practically like air.
You are right but how can you explain that fact that people are still willing to take the risk just to invest with bitcoin.
I think we all know that bitcoin is a high risk investment but we should also look at the profitability rate, this year although the value has significantly dropped, we can still say that investing in bitcoin is profitable in overall since as of now, we are still seeing profit if we invested early this year.

Because people are hyped that if they join bitcoin they will become rich. They don't even care the high risk it involves. As long as they will earn at the end. Wouldn't you agree?

It is obvious that when compared to other investments bitcoin is a lot more risky but even that risk is not enough for people, you must remember that people love to take risks and they love to make money as well that is why investing in altcoins is incredibly popular in the forum.

Well it is up to the people when to take risk or not. You can't win if you will not take risk, by the way. Before doing anything crazy I guess ready yourself first to ride the ups and downs of bitcoin.
54  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 21, 2017, 08:40:10 AM
If there is one thing I can be sure of. I guess it would be that no other cryptocurrency will replace bitcoin from its pedestal. Its almost impossible.
55  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining Profitable these days? on: December 21, 2017, 08:07:40 AM
Nope

Mining is still profitable bro. Don't mine in bitcoin, for sure you will just be wasting your time. Mine altcoins, there are many altcoins that have potentials in the market and do allow mining in them.
56  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: December 21, 2017, 07:59:08 AM
Any other cryptocurrency cannot replace bitcoin from its position. It is like a big mountain to reach. All other coins just depends on bitcoins movement in the market.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: December 21, 2017, 07:05:58 AM
I don't think so that there is such well known risk in holding BTC But yes if you are doing trading then you should know that the price of BTC is varying with time so there is only a small risk that if price of BTC fall and you have number of BTC then you will need to wait more for the right time when price is again high then you can sell your BTC so there is risk of falling price of BTC.

I think a person should know when to cut losses and when to bring things on. I mean if you feel the price is still going down for a while, just be safe and cut losses than to say sorry later. For now, bitcoin is still a good investment.

Mining altcoins is still profitable, but mining bitcoins I think will do no good to you. Try to choose altcoins that you think has a btight future ahead.

I think other crypto currency just rely on bitcoin. I don't think bitcoin will be replaced by any of it.
